Frank was great right from our arrival time. There are currently reconstructions happening on the building but that didn’t make any difference to our rooms, only the car park which was smaller than normal due to scaffolding. Not really a big deal tho because we could still park 2 large vehicles there. Rooms were clean and great value. Nothing outdated at all. Supermarket, gas station and shops just down the road. Wifi worked well - We would stay here again.

The place provided netflix for free. While we didn't watch much, as we were out most days and had to restrict the content due to our toddler, it's that extra bonus for a rainy day. The place was modern and clean. Our room got cleaned every day, which made it nice to come back to. Had a kitchen unit if you wanted to cook and great amenities. Walking distance from supermarket. Just soo convenient and affordable room. Can't recommend it enough. A++

Outstanding service with fantastic communication. Was arriving after office hours. Received timely excellent information in a friendly manner about access to room and parking. No carpet is not to my taste and I feel it makes it feel a bit cold. Shower pressure incredible. Unfortunately it was all over the bathroom as it was an accessible room and the floor to the drain didn't seem quite sloped enough. Only 1 towel, which i needed to use the next morning, so couldn't mop it up with that. Meant wet feet everytime I used the bathroom. Location was very handy to motorway etc but more situated in a residential area which was quiet, private and felt very safe. The bed was comfortable and the unit was well equipped. Very clean with everything in good condition. Definitely stay again.

Great communication and service. Newly upgraded rooms with lovely kitchenette and bathroom. Good beds and linen, very quiet heat pump and fridge. Shower was super hot and powerful, with nice toiletries. Quiet. Great location.

My own fault - please check motel name carefully - there is a very similar named motel 400m down the road and I went to the wrong one first. I'm not the only person that has done this before. Remember the word INTERNATIONAL.

Our rooms were newly refurbished with a lovely tiled bathroom and great pressure in the shower. The kitchen was new with lovely polished stone bench top. Beds were comfy and a big TV. Heatpump was great - often places don't have adequate heating but this was excellent. Looks a bit tired from the outside but looks like a make over on the outside is in the pipeline. We parked right outside our room. Check in was easy. Some chocolates and lollies and milk in the fridge were a welcome surprise.

We were on a 9 day visit to Auckland and went straight to Hamilton to see the gardens there. We found this Motel at North Shore conveniently located just off the A1 main road to Northland. There was a Woolworth's five minutes away, and the cooking facilities in the room were great. There was dedicated car parking. We arrived early and our room way ready at noon. We drove down to to the beach looking across to Brown Island, and walked along the sandy beech wriggling our toes in the gentle surf. In the morning it was just a short distance back to the A1 and we headed off to Praia, and the Bay of Islands in Northland. We used goolge maps to get off the rather crowded motorway [it was a holiday] before the tolled section of the road, and the drive was far more pleasant as a result.

It suited what we wanted but you would have to drive to restaurants and cafes.

Great room, great location. Spotless clean, great staff! As mentioned by someone, don't be put off by the run-down looks of the outside, or the smell of the reception (it stunk). The room we stayed in was failry new and spotless clean, the beds were super comfortable and the TV/Netflix was of high quality. They also had all we needed to self cater: toaster, jug, microwave, plates, bowls, cutlery, fridge, etc...the toiletries provided were of great quality. The service was also great with very friendly and accommodating staff (I had surgery and requested an early check in, late check out and downstairs bedroom). Great location (1km from beautiful Takapuna beach), close to shops, restaurants, beach, etc. Would stay there again. Not cheap, but I guess Auckland is not a cheap place to stay!

good space to 2 people sharing and working. Great desk area. Handy for getting on and off motorway. It's really clean. Motel is a construction site at the moment, but we knew about it prior to arrival and didn't bother us with being away all day

Desk was great but need more light as dark in evening. Could have done with a second mirror in the bedroom area with 2 of us getting ready in the mornings

The location fitted the purpose of our visit for an Auckland family memorial very well.. The location was walking distance to very good cafes for breakfast & again another for dinner also. Our studio room was well appointed with extra kitchen equipment . The bed linnen was all white, which hides no surprises. We actually felt like we were the 1st people who had stayed in the studio! The function we were attending began @ 200 pm - usual time for occupation, however the event we were attending was beginning @ 2 00pm! - The office kindly accomodated an early occupation as we'd left home @ 4 40am ! - That was much appreciated.! We would certainly stay there again .

There was just one thing. When I contacted the hotel through the booking I didn't receive an acknowledgement of my request for necessary early entry for our studio, & when I tried phoning the call didn't go through - no matter what time of day or evening I tried. I also emailed, without a response. Early am of the arrival day I received a txt enquiring whether we did need the studio early to which I responded & it all worked out very well when we arrived. Maybe the hotel was short staffed for office personnel, when they didn't respond initially to my request.

Great location, easy walk to restaurants. Beds were clean and comfy, new units with drawers were nice. Great to have a car parking space right at the door. Nice and peaceful area.

Water from shower goes everywhere. Wardrobe smells a bit musty. Coffee not replenished (we didn't touch the tea, hot chocolate etc) and would have been nice if floors were swept given it's not carpet.
