Staff/management can not fault them. They were awesome and understanding. I had an unexpected issue crop up. Weekend staff was so cool and knowledgable and helped me download transport app to get around cheaper. Room and beds were clean. Location: once you got your bearings is quite handy to shops/malls, etc Upstairs unit backs on to native bush with Tui birds is relaxing and peaceful. Awesome shower pressure. Good for temporary stop over. Thank you Ocean Inn.

Just an oddity. Floor in toilet was a weird softness to walk on. Didn't affect function. Only concern if you are a female traveler: * would be locks for windows and doors are easy/basic. if you are safety conscious female traveler in a city and * no safe/lock box to lock valuables inside.

Clean and spacious. On check in my husband was given a bottle of water which was nice.

No tv in bedroom, only in lounge where there were single beds and our grandson slept A sign in the kitchen that says you have to leave the kitchen as you found it in arrival, or you will be charged $50! The shower door popped it's rollers so you couldn't get in, I couldn't fix it, only my husband could. No bedside cabinets - really annoying when having a cuppa in bed!

The room was spacious with a separate bedroom. There was a small table and chairs and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was quite big. We did not hear a lot of road noise which was a plus.

The shower is small and the only mirror is in the bathroom so for getting ready it would be good to have a mirror somewhere in one of the other rooms.

Our second time staying here. The Location to the event we were attending was great. Beds were comfortable, staff are friendly and accomodating. Would stay again but prefer lower level units.

We were in an upstairs unit and parking for room was a distance only because of the rain and carrying suitcases up in wet weather. Floors slightly buckled in our room but didn’t affect the stay just door didn’t close properly to bathroom.

We've stayed at Ocean Inn once before and had an upstairs room in the back row which, though nice enough, was perhaps a little small; bed and the rest of living/eating area were in the same room. So it was good to get a larger room this time, which was downstairs towards the front this time; spare bed and living/dining space with TV were separate from the bedroom. If we return to this motel, we'll try to snag another of these rooms. Also, SimplyFresh next door has a wide assortment of fresh food and fruit, and makes good coffee.

Room has been recently repainted. Very clean with daily replacement of towels etc. very good walk in shower. Location is great with easy access to motorway and shops close by. Have stayed here before and will again if the situation arises..

Super clean and modern, staff were lovely and easy to deal with. Great spot - easy to access off the motorway and cheap to Uber into the city for concert but not on a really busy road. Will definitely stay again.

Was a little cramped but still great value for money. The bathroom had a wet floor shower which wasn’t ideal with 4 of us staying - bathroom floor got pretty wet and slippery.

Very clean, comfortable, warm room. Lots of sky tv options, great location. Close to grocery store and a couple of restaurants.

I stayed in an upstairs room, the parking spot for the upstairs rooms is quite literally on the other side of the property. On the double bed were 2x single size electric blanket but with the way the room was set out I could only heat one side of the bed due to there not being a close enough power point for the other side. Not a big deal as I was there solo.

We have stayed here numerous times. We've almost stayed in every room. It is always clean, well supplied, very quiet, and is well located. Parking is available and safe. All rooms have modern decor, carpets, TV, and kitchenette equipment. Regardless of the season, each room is comfortable. The manager is very friendly. Rate is very affordable 👌

We had a Double Studio. Clean facilities and very friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. Good value for the money. Thank you for having us.

Nothing to dislike at this price-point. Just to be aware that the non-family rooms have no kitchen sink or dish washing facilities, as I understand it. Plates, glasses and cutlery is provided however, and cleaned by the chamber maid. If you want to cut a loaf of bread or have a proper coffee, bring a knife and a cafetiere. Microwave was provided.
