The location was perfect, only 200m from where we needed to be

We had informed the reception in advance that we would be checking in late due to traveling from a long distance. Despite this, upon arrival, we were made to wait outside in the cold for over 10 minutes while our booking was being located. This was quite unpleasant, especially given the weather conditions. Since the reception was aware of the late check-ins for both of our stays, we had expected the check-in process to be prepared in advance. It would have made a significant difference if everything had been ready for a swift and warm welcome, rather than an uncomfortable wait outside.

Male receptionist on arrival and the team of cleaners who I passed as I left in the morning were all noticeably charming and polite. Actually, I've rarely met nicer hotel staff Motel was clean, spacious, with everything I needed in the kitchenette. The off-street parking was free. Very quiet given that it's on quite a busy road. Pizza from the pizzeria downstairs made for a lovely dinner and Little Treats served me a mean mocha in the morning.

Smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor on the first floor. Bed was a great size (a California King like my own bed at home). However, I found it a bit hard. The pillows were comfy, though.

The 2 bed apartments were very comfortable, loved the 2 bathroom in the apartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location choosen as close to a big family birthday celebration restuarant.

We were on the 1st floor and the noise from the restuarants on the ground floor echoed up the side alleyway, the same side as my bedroom was located. The led surround lighting around the tv could not be switched off. Staff however did offer to remove this lighting, which we thanked them for.

Room was pretty, easy to use TV and access was easy. Greeting at check in was lovely

when ringing reception from the room phone it went to the call centre and not reception. That was a little annoying and then I had to communicate through email about later check out then the house keeping walked in as they did not no about the late check out. No one was at reception when I went to ask a question or when I went to check out so was hoping it was fine I just dropped the keys off. Water in shower became cold quickly

Great location to where we wanted to be in Auckland. Room was very nice and functional. Nice cafe at the bottom of the apartment with an outside area that you could sit in.

At the end of the corridor there was a fire escape, and there looked like a lot of rubbish outside on it (didn't obstruct access but didn't look very nice) . The cooking equipment was a little limited and the bin was far too small.

The staff were great, the room was comfy, and the location was perfect for what I needed. The late checkout was seamless. Even when we had a fire alarm the on duty staff member was calm and organised. The food places downstairs were appreciated and really good.

Struggling to find anything I didn't really like. The shower head was a bit loose but not really a problem.

No breakfast available at this hotel, thats ok though, plenty of choice outside, people were super friendly clean and professional. the bed was FANTASTIC , location to hiway was perfect, and free parking everywhere

The soap and shampoo squeeze bottles in the shower are TOO difficult to squeeze and fustrating. no sports channels and the couches are made for VERY small people almost just for decoration

The big squishy pillows were amazing! Everything was great. Tv, aircon, furnishings, full kitchen, good shower. Big hallway. Entryway/reception, spacious and bright. Friendly staff. Good parking. Food shops downstairs. Great price. I would definitely stay again. Thank you.

No complaints. Before turning shower on make sure the showerhead is pointed inside the shower box and not at the door!!

Parking is a big bonus! Heaps of car park and just short walking distance. We don’t need to travel far to sort out our meal. Managed to find cheap and delicious food options. Best of all is the customer service we experienced. Well done team!

It would be advantage if we can access the back entrance after 6pm with the room card. We have to walk to the front in order to get in.
