The location was wonderful. The information booklet in the room had so much helpful guidence and information for us. Beautiful walks, great eating places, a very quaint delightful township.

The only thing that meant we didn't rate the property 10/10 was the noise transference from one of the rooms next door that you alluded to in the info booklet with the wooden floors. There was a family in there for 1 of the nights, who werent 'voice' noisy but the movement of people until lateish at night and then early in the morning meant the blissful peace of the night before changed! But it wasnt a huge issue for us and we still greatly enjyed our stay.

We came to Leigh to eat at the Sawmill cafe and watch a band. Unfortunately, there was not a gig on the night we were there and the cafe is now a pizzeria. We, therefore, took advantage of the excellent facilities of Leigh Central. We had a great walk round the village and to the harbour. The unit was well appointed and delightfully decorated with good cooking and outdoor seating facilities, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We never saw a reception person, however, entry and exit instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Overall and excellent stay.

I loved the kitchen facilities, very clean and orderly and nice to have access to cups and glasses. The bathroom was clean and fit for purpose and it was a bonus to have the toilet in the separate shower cubicle.

I had trouble with the lock code on arrival. My code didn't open the door to my allocated cabin. As there was no one in the other cabins I tried the lock code on a different cabin and got in. I also got locked after visiting the bathroom as the lock code changed while absent. I had to wake up the manager for assistance but this was remedied pretty quickly.

The owner was very helpful and great communication, especially when we needed to stay another night. When the weather is nice, the room feels like you're on holiday somewhere wonderful. Although the heat pump definitely helped! Everything we needed, great space! Very central to everything.

The walls are very thin so a bit of noise from next room. Needs blackout blinds instead of venetian as there was a bit of light coming through, on end room. And towel rails by shower would be good and a hand towel rail by bathroom sink. But there are rails on the back wall, so all good 👍

Lovely little room and property.

The shower facility was less than a pleasant experience, it was clean and I am fine with having a timer for my limiting water but the pressure was so dismal for most of my times shower that I had to practically press myself against the wall to get into the water. My bug net had several holes in it so when I awoke there were a few mosquitoes on me

I loved my room, it was clean and inviting, nice to have a little mini fridge as well.

It was a bit disconcerting when you would open your room using your palm to wake up entry to room. Then it would allow you to put your 4 digit code in, but afterwards would keep saying “the battery was low and batteries needed replacing.” I was concerned that the battery would go flat and I wouldn’t be able to get back into my room. Also I was never completely sure if my room was locked, as once in, I would try and lock the room, but no matter which way I turned the latch on the inside door, I could still open the door. Made me feel a little uneasy that someone could get in from the outside.

The location was perfect for our needs. The cabin was spacious and well equipped.

On arrival to Leigh Central where the parking area to the cabin is, it wasn't very appealing. Luckily once we open the door of our unit, our first impression changed for the better.

Great property, easily enough to get in since property is unmanned, notice that the local establishments closed down for the season and what those dates are I would recommend as that’s not a known to non locals.

Needs mosquito nets over the windows to allow for open windows but no bugs. The showers were only 3 mins long. Would be good to extend to 5 minutes

Clean, great location, incredibly comfortable, and lovely decor theme. Easy to follow directions and I appreciated the warning about the noise echoing on the wooden floors as we could hear people walking and talking next door, but we knew to expect that.
