How exceptional the cleanliness of the property was. And the attention to decor and bedding was also exceptional. Well done on this. Also, we were very impressed with Nick and your desire to assist us with anything. You went out of your way to provide my husband with another room temporarily to watch Sky TV. Thank you. There is nothing to fault with the property itself at all. We would stay there again and recommend it.

Probably the view - there was some oceanview, however, the surf club is an eyesore in front of the property. There is a little bit of traffic noise as well.

I absolutely loved my stay! My room was incredibly spacious, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The highlight for me was the large, relaxing tub—perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine. The shower was fantastic, with amazing water pressure that made washing my hair a breeze. The small kitchen was a great bonus, equipped with plenty of extras to make my stay even more convenient. The location was lovely—just a short walk to plenty of shops and restaurants, plus you can catch a cool ocean breeze directly across the street. Check in was beyond easy and everyone was extremely kind. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and tidy, lovely bed, very happy with what we had, but the photos did give a slightly more 'lux' feel that I was expecting. Kids loved the super fluffy rug and lay on it all the time.

I found the shower pressure very disappointing considering you had a lovely inviting walk-in shower and a rainfall dual shower head. The water pressure in all the other taps was very hard so I suspect you could make some tweaks to increase it in the shower - I found I was freezing as the waterfall wasn't substantial enough.

We didn’t like the family room that we booked and were offered another family room on the ground floor. Also advised the 3 bedroom suite was available upstairs but that was at extra cost. Looked at the 3 bedroom suite and were very impressed and thought it worth the extra $100 to upgrade. Really made the trip, was so good that the kids had a room each room stop them fighting, they were able to watch a separate tv in one of the bedrooms as well. If your budget allows, check out the 3 bedroom suite.

We stayed here for a single night but should have stayed longer. The place is lovely and the staff are great. We were in Room 7 which is the honeymoon suite. Sadly, some idiot had broken the spa bath shortly before our stay but the room is really nice. Fridge didn’t work but the lady on reception offered us a room swap or use of another fridge. We chose the latter option as we likes our room so much. Couldn’t ask for more from the staff. Great base to explore Orewa and the surrounding area. The Shakespeare Reserve is a hidden gem.

Great location, just across the road from the beach & surf lifesaving club cafe which offers great coffee. Close to the shops. Easy checkin & checkout. Only saw staff from afar, but were very helpful with checking on us via message. Comfortable room, great shower & has a smart TV installed in the lounge. Highly recommend as there aren’t too many options in Orewa. Would definitely stay again.

Good location,clean well maintained. The staff & owners were lovely & helpful & nothing was too much trouble. Easy parking, close to the beach & town & restaurants . Would recommend & definitely use again.

Nothing really would have been good to have a place for coffee,breakfast,small meals but they are working on that & it will be a big bonus to the hotel.

We loved everything. Location (right across the road to the Surf Club where our daughter took lessons, 5 min walk to centre); kitchenette had everything we needed a normal sized fridge; beds were so comfy and luxurious; airconditioning; great layout with the spare room of 2 singles and storage, very spacious main room; excellent modern furnishings; Modern bathroom and strong shower; Sky channels; Rm 1 was great with parking right by our door and a small view of the water. I also appreciated the sustainability effort of collecting and cleaning our rubbish bin with no plastic liner; and offering change of linen and towels when needed. The lady (sorry I forgot to ask her name) was lovely and welcoming. We had such a great time here that we'd love to come back.

The rooms above the family rooms have a tiled floor area which the tenant in high heels were walking back and forth most of the night. The second night we got a shift worker in boots doing the hob dance until 11 pm and up at 6am.As the ground floor units are family rooms, I think a solution could be carpeting over the tile would help enormously.

Best location you could ask for if you want to go to Orewa beach, because the surf lifesaving club + cafe + beach facilities are all directly opposite this motel. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. It even had a decent aircon/heat pump unit, which is always a nice surprise. During the day we could hear a little bit of traffic sound but at night it was silent, so sleeping was easy. The staff were all very warm and welcoming.

Our fridge wasn't on when we arrived, but we didn't notice until nighttime. By this time our complimentary milk was probably spoiled, though we didn't risk it. Just a minor thing!
