Check in was very quick and efficient, the staff member very friendly and professional, taking the time to explain the building's amenities and how to find and access the car park which after long day's drive was very helpful. The apartment was extremely comfortable and in our opinion was better in "real life" than portrayed in the photos, it was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable and the view from the huge balcony over the town and sea was stunning. Having been away for three weeks the washer/dryer were a very welcome feature, as was the opportunity to prepare some "home" style cooked food in the very well stocked kitchen after perhaps too many nights of restaurant food. The apartment was a great place to relax and enjoy time away from the cycle of driving/hotel stay when on long trip away from home, which for us is the other side of the world. The units are located within easy walking distance of restaurants and a local supermarket and close to the fabulous beach. Overall this was a memorable stay and we would not hesitate in recommending this accommodation to friends and family. A huge thank you to the team, great location, excellent accommodation and very good value for money.

We stayed through Easter weekend, about a 30mins drive from Otara, the room we booked was on level 10 and had the best view of the ocean as well as the township of Orewa, the staff here are amazing from the time we checked in to the the time we checked out, so polite and courteous. (eg. they had a top of the range oven put in the room and I didn't know how to use it, I rang reception and he came up straight away and showed me how to use it, and it wasn't hard at all lol! 🙄) Carpark came with the room, easy access to going in and out of the carpark using your room tag. Full access to the gym and pool, we didn't use the pool even if we though we had beautiful weather everyday, it was too windy to go for a swim. Loved how everything was at walking distance and close proximity to our hotel; supermarkets (New World and Woolworths) cafes, restaurants, Orewa beach, the parks for the kids, especially for our Mr six. Love, love, love everything about this hotel and place, we'd definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to chill for the weekend or longer, thank you staff of Ramada Nautilus for an outstanding service. 😊

Even though we went during a public holiday period (Easter Weekend) some of the main cafes and takeaway shops were open Domino's Pizza, Captain Kerrs Fish and Chips our favourite place especially deep fried oysters lol, McDonald's etc.... Nope! sorry we liked everything, Hotel, Food, Township, Ocean and especially the people...❤️

Our location was lovely with a view to the sea and a little balcony. It was a bit noisy in the hallway sometimes but otherwise was great.

Not much space on countertop. Suggestion would be to have a board of sorts to fit over the sink so when your cooking or preparing a meal there is more space as the only place to put the toaster and jug is on or very close to the stove top. Also maybe a couple of different jams in little satchels would be a nice touch too as an extra.

WE stayed for two lots of 3 nights over a period of 9 days. Everything was pretty much spot on, the apt on the 2nd 3 nights was a step up from the 1st Apt, and we would therefore request that Apt (906) rather than the initial one. All in all a good stay overall.

On the 2nd day of our stay I unfortunately had a really bad accident going down to the pool area by slipping on the sloping steel ramp. It had been raining lightly which obviously made it a hazard, even though I had no slip sport shoes on. I ended up having to be taken to the hospital by ambulance and spent most of the day there. I ended with crutches for the thee rest of our two week holiday. I have requested a copy of the incident report which so far has not been received.

The modern, self-catering apartment on the top floor was clean and well-presented and had commanding views both towards the ocean and over the town and beyond. We used the verandah for drinks and meals. The bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and dining area with a kitchen were spacious and well-equipped (although lacking a non-stick frying pan). It was peaceful and the bed was comfortable. There was no air-conditioning, but we opened the giant sliding doors to the verandah and enjoyed the cooling sea-breezes. We loved the area around Orewa, with friendly local people, many places to eat and drink and to purchase supplies. The beach was sandy and gorgeous. The on-site, open air swimming pool was a delight. We did not use the bar b q area, but it was spotlessly maintained and the vibe looked pleasant. Staff were helpful and the parking was secure and easy to access. This venue is just 40 minutes from down-town Auckland.

Our apartment was amazing it had everything we wanted and needed including a washer and dryer. We had been travelling for a few weeks so to do our washing was pure bliss! The staff were so friendly and very generous with information and advice on the local facilities. Can’t recommend the Nautilus enough so much to see and do.

Location was perfect with ocean room view breathtaking and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful including management helping me when i needed an extra night!

Noise was above previous experience at staying at the Naiutilus that was due to construction work on an addjacent property however this did not detract from the overall enjoyment of staying at Nautilus

It was a light and roomy apartment. It was nice being able to access the balcony area from the living room & main bedroom. There was enough seating for 2 of us. The kitchen was very well equipped but as the town of Orewa was on the doorstep we ate out a lot but there were 2 supermarkets very close by. Views of the beach & sea from the room. Safe parking. The pool and hot tubs were good. The whole building was quiet, a mixture of owners and rentals. Everyone we met was friendly. I recommend the Ramada Suites and the town of Orewa.

What a place, beautiful. Self contained apartment. Gorgeous view of the sea and the town scape. Amazing huge picture window, did i say HUGE, level with the master bed. Plus independent balcony access. Sunrise, perfect. Hours spent on the balcony. What a view. Second bedroom windows with a view. Can open sliding doors to lounge area plus has own bedroom door. Washing machine and dryer. Dishwasher. Daily service. Lovely staff. Perfect. Pool to die for and a great gym. Parking garage 2 spots allocated and totally safe and cool.

The 2 bedroom apartment was a great size with the two bathrooms, which was good to have. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Great view from all rooms. Loved the good-sized deck. Great size lounge. Loved the set up of the apartment. Loved that there was a pool and enjoyed having a cool swim on a very hot day and the two spa's. The vicinity of the hotel was great.

Did not like that there was no air con in the apartment,it was very hot. Also, going through the hallways and lifts with no air con was extremely uncomfortable due to the heat. If there was no breeze or unable to open windows due to rain, it was very hot and uncomfortable.
