Breakfast was good. Place was clean and tidy, abit of road traffic noise.

Wanted to have tea the night we arrived in the resturant, but were told closed for a public holiday, but they had a wedding happening. Wish they had let us know, no food available. As we had to get back in the car and go out again for tea. And felt abit different no manager stays on the site, we were the only ones staying. Put me off staying again, sorry.

We loved the friendliness of the staff, Stephanie was so kind and helped make us feel welcome. We loved the beautiful gardens, food at the cafe, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and peaceful environment. There were lots of games to play like pool, giant chess board and Disc golf that our 3 boys enjoyed. The bathroom toiletries were luxurious too.

The only thing that was disappointing was the shower pressure. It was very weak.

We like the rooms the facility are such a nice and comfortable.

First thing we had trouble with the light comes up in room from outsides on sleeping time as there was no curtains near main doors. And another thing it’s too far from the Auckland city centre.

Excellent cafe/restaurant. Quiet and comfortable room. All that I needed.

The toilet seat hinges were loose and about to come to pieces and could fall into the septic tanks. The shower head pivots were also loose and in need of adjustment and the shower would only direct onto the wall immediately under the head. Both these matters should have been reported by the cleaning staff and fixed as a matter of routine R & M.

Not having a dinner option, we had to drive to Orewa to find something We did find a nice buffet (on our way to Orewa Beach) which we found by seeing a sign on the roadside - we would recommend it to other guests

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed and bedding clean and super comfortable. Quiet, serene location.

Location was awkward in that you had to drive to get anywhere. The restaurant closed at 3 pm so if you wanted dinner you had to drive. Golf course was not in great condition. Patio and outside furniture not clean or swept. Toilet had not been flushed. Toilet area floor looked like it had not been wiped.

The room was perfect, with a view of the golf course. We also had a microwave, crockery & cutlery which made life easy, we had returned from a Motorhome trip and still had food to use up. We were able to walk around the golf course on the evening.

The electric plugs in the room were positioned far to high up as the electric jug had to be used in the bathroom The TV configuration for Utube etc was complicated as was the wifi

Relieved to find nice accommodation at late notice, having to vacate substandard accommodation (also booked through booking.com) which was terrible yet showed as four star. (Poenamo). I have complained and requested a refund as accommodation portrayed was misleading, terrible and premises run down.

Quiet location - North Shore and short drive to Orewa. Real resort feeling: singing birds, beautiful flowers, hotel surrounded by gorgeous trees. Room with 2 queen beds was spacious and beautiful view to golf course was added bonus. Complimentary tea/coffee, microwave oven. Play golf if you have time, clubs are available for hire
