Great location, close to beach and shops, restaurants and cafes. Comfortable unit and hosts were friendly and helpful.

The staff were wonderful—warmly greeting us at reception and personally escorting us to our room. The room itself was beautifully renovated, with a fresh, modern feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was spotless. We also appreciated the efficient air-conditioning. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and the beach. A great stay overall!

We loved our visit to Orewa & our accommodation was immaculate. Summer was a friendly host who gave us an upgrade to what we had originally booked, which we really appreciated. The location is very central... a 10 minute stroll to bars, cafés & restaurants. Being on the Hibiscus Coast Highway, you only have a very short walk across the road to the beach. Highly recommended 👌

Location and communication was quick, as we were going to check in late and instructions given was great, thank you. Seating area outside and maintenance outside was beautiful. Had compliment water bottles and small milk which was great.

No iron in the room, no side table for the other side of the bed, no flannels and curtains had mould on them, No aircon but did have a fan you could use. Could do with a paint job on the outside building above reception area.

Self catering. Room and facilities basic but comfortable. The view from the main bedroom with double bed just looked out onto the fence and next door. This was not a problem. The main room had a single bed and sofa with a television, small table and the kitchenette with fridge and was comfortable. It served our purpose of staying as we were touring and hoping to go to the Bay of Islands but due to the extreme weather we had to change our plans and the Summer Inn Motel was our base to help us decide the next stages of our holiday. The Staff were friendly. Thank you

The beds and pillows were a touch too soft and we ran out of toilet roll - otherwise thank you

We were in the newly renovated rooms and they were very spacious and clean very good value for money and just a short walk to town. Staff were lovely and accommodating

If I had to say something the walls were a bit thin but nothing that would stop me staying again.

Friendly welcome. We had a 3 room upstairs apartment. Nice balcony view. Beds were comfy. Rooms large. Fans available in all bedrooms. Nice clean facilities. Tea coffee and milk available. CBD close. Would definately stay again if in the area.

Glasses were on a very high shelf in the kitchen and I would have needed to climb on a chair to access one. As I am 80 years old this was not practical so I had to drink my wine in a mug! Otherwise no problems

Although outdated, Summer made our stay more comfortable. She was so understanding when we arrived at Auckland International Airport and told her that we may be late to check-in. Even after I left an orthapedic pillow behind, she had it ready for me on our way back to Auckland.
