Exceeded our expectations in terms of privacy, overall decor, and functionality. Booking process and check-in/check-out was smooth and without hiccups. Obviously very newly built, so it feels fresh and mostly very clean. Very functional space to stay and spend some time in the region.

Could have done with a fan or heatpump, but ultimately it was ok to sleep with just the windows open. There is a lot of furniture for a small space, and not optimally positioned to watch the TV for example, so I'm not sure this is a great place to hang out - better as a base to stay whilst out enjoying the area. Also, under the bed needs a vacuum.

Philip was a super friendly host, who offers the best Coffee every in a New Zealand b & b. Room was clean, the bathroom also. Breakfast was gorgous. He gave me good informations about the surrounding (chocolate company and skate competition). Easy going

It was very hot, when I stayed there and the ventilator did a lot of noise during the night. Beneath I switched it off.

Amazing location, walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Mangawhai, including the famous Bennet’s. Extremely comfortable and clean. The hosts are fantastic. Second time I stay there and would go back again. Highly recommended.

Initially, I hesitated to share as I wanted to gatekeep this hidden gem. P and J proved to be exceptional hosts, embodying true Aotearoa hospitality. The price was incredible, and the room, bathroom, and amenities were fantastic. I’d easily give it a perfect 10 and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I find myself in need of accommodation in the area.

Veeeery comfy room in a beautiful house. Hosts are very friendly, helpful and serve a yummy breakfast in the morning. Close to many beautiful beaches and I could park my car safely under a car port.

The service of the owners. As a person with prosthetic, I have issues my gear. These two loaded and unloaded for me, checked on me and were so helpful. I had an awesome stay!

Philip and Jiyeon are the best hosts you could want. They made me feel at home right away and looked after me for my whole (longer than their usual) stay. Jiyeon's coffee really is the best around!

Great location, really lovely hosts and I was treated to a great coffee in the morning. The hosts were really accomodating of my late arrival and my request for an iron. Highly recommend and great value for money.

Friendly hosts. Clean and comfy bathroom and bedroom.

I missed some bread, butter, or something else for a continental breakfast. There was just cereal and milk and she also made a really nice flat white. The bedroom does not have a garden view (it was a driveway) and no tea or coffee maker. Overall it was just small details and did not affect my experience.

Excellent accommodation spotless fresh definitely the best I have ever stayed in can’t fault a single thing.First class would highly recommend.
