The hotel is absolutely beautiful red and gold and luxurious. Breakfast was plentiful and 😋 delicious. Good location too. Around 10-15 mins by taxi to San Pedro train station. Close to restaurants and shops.

The room was absolutely freezing when we were there May 2025. We should have asked how to get the room warmer but were so tired after our travels to Machu Picchu we didn't. The hotel says its a boutique hotel, but there were no toiletries in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have just basic shower and hair shampoo. Small thing but a little disappointing. That said lovely hot shower.

Good breakfast with lots of fruits and smoothies. Eggs were cooked to order; fresh breads with butter, jam or cheese and ham. Avocados were fresh and beautiful every morning. Location is very close in town with no steps or hills. Rooms were quiet with the exception of lousy neighbors. Large room and the triple room has no one on top of them. There was a massage place inside the hotel but it was amateurish and we don’t recommend it. The young man who checked me in was friendly and brought all my bags up the stairs.

Wifi wasn’t the best. Walls are thin. If you have lousy neighbors, you can hear them talking in their rooms. Heaters has remote control but the front desk people has to turn it on for you. They have to go into your room to turn it on and off. Completely, inconvenient since you have to go downstairs and upstairs again. no air conditioning. Room can get really hot if the windows are closed. If you open the windows, there are no screens so you risk having mosquitoes in the room with you. Coffee was thick and dark.

Very Authentic Classic Old House of a previous bishop, which gives a great sense of history . Very clean , staff are helpful, Breakfast was basic but with different varieties of fresh fruits. Kitchen staff were very friendly. Location is very good. Beds are comfy. Room was heated

Staff most of them don't speak English it took me more than an hour to check in with a confirmed booking because the lady in reception didn't know the procedures and didn't know much English. There is No water boiler in the room , so every time you want to have cup of tea you have to get out of your room to the reception area. Floors are made of wood , so it might become a bit disturbing when someone is moving around early in the morning.

The young boy that helped fix our TV, Heater and Hot Water was so lovely and patient. He always answered the phone and came to our room promptly to help us. He was always smiling and welcoming. The kitchen staff also did a good job with the breakfast on Saturday morning. It was a beautiful spread. Location to main square was an easy 5 min walk and plenty of food options nearby.

We understand the infrastructure was tough there but we had some early morning tours at 4am and didn’t have hot water to have a shower. I had to ask for it to be turned on and the lovely boy at reception left a note for his colleagues to turn on for us at that time but they never did. We had to request the heater to be turned on as well. The room was comfy. The boutique hotel is basic but a good basis when you’re doing 16 hour tours every day. Comfy sleep, dark reception.

The staff provided excellent service (we had to reschedule our stay, store bags at 3 am to leave for a 2 day tour, check out at 5:30 am - they accommodated our needs without concern), rooms were beautiful and clean, and the bed as well as comforter were very comfortable. Excellent location as well

The wifi was bit sporadic and unpredictable and the noise from the street might bother some people (though we were not bothered by it)

I stayed at this hotel for the first time some years ago and returned again when I went back to Cusco this year. I find it to be a great value for the price. The decor is lovely, the woodwork everywhere is gorgeous, the staff are helpful, location is perfect, and the rooms are quite large.

The hotel seems to a have new policy they have tacked up in the rooms where they say you'll be charged extra if the towels or sheets are soiled. I found that to be odd and confusing for a hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in Casona Corrales. The location was very good, close to Plaza de Armas, but quiet at the same time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a problem in the room we were initially checked in (the water in the shower was not warm) and the staff moved us to another room. But most importantly the hotel staff were the nicest people, trying to be helpful. Me and my boyfriend were sick for a few days while staying there and they were so helpful, ordering food for us.

We liked everything, but they were a few things that could be handled better. First we were not told that the water in the room is not free, so we had to pay when checking out. On our last day we went out for a walk as we had time before the checkout time - 11AM. When we came back around 10:30AM they already took out our suitcases from the room (luckily we had everything packed and ready to move out). This was something that we were not used to and it was confusing.

It’s in a fabulous location right off the square. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were big users of google translate. Facilities are great and you are staying in a colonial type hotel. There was double glazing to our shared balcony which had views to the square and to the many cathedrals in close proximity. We met our neighbour a lovely Canadian woman and had some good chats with her and her son. Would highly recommend staying here.

A little noisy between the rooms but due to its construction to be expected. Everyone seemed to be respectful as this is a place where you are up and about early to take advantage of the tours on offer.

Completely lovely small boutique hotel in the nicest district of Cusco. Historic colonial building with foundations on original Incan walls and elaborate decor from the colonial Spanish inhabitants. Truly great place to stay and excellent value.

Nothing negative to say. Those with mobility issues should be sure to request a 1st or 2nd floor room as the climb to 3rd floor is not easy! Hot coffee was missing from the otherwise excellent morning breakfasts but there are innumerable top quality coffee cafes all up and down the street.

The hotel was not far from the Plaza de Armas. We did not have much of a view from our window, but we did not have any street noise either. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to keep our luggage their while we hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. The lobby and rooms were beautifully decorated.

No complaints.
