The staff was really wonderful. They helped us in so many ways. They were so friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We had a bit of a medical emergency and they went way out of their way to help us solve our problem. The location of the hotel is so convenient to the most popular aspects of a trip to Cusco. Santa Maria is a great value for a trip into Cusco!

The few things that could have been better are the overall things that create the difference between South and North America... No heat in the rooms. The toilet differences. These are dislikes that are only available because we want to see a different culture and we accept that kind of alternative lifestyle by choice...not the fault of the individual hotel.

The location. Perfect size. Breakfast provided in the proce, however, given that some trips start very early, could not be utilised. So only had it once when in Cusco.

The window was facing the courtyard, so the curtains needed to be closed all the time. No heating, but there were additional duvets in the wardrobe. The towels did not dry, given the temperature. Whilst hairdryer was provided on request, you have to give it back every evening, which is not something you want to do after you're in your pijamas.

My partner and I and a couple of other friends stayed at Santa Maria prior to an independent Salkantay trek. Great location, very clean and comfortable, and staff went above and beyond. They let us leave luggage in their storage for five days while we did the trek, then when we came back to Cusco we were staying at an Airbnb and they let us leave our backpacks again between our Airbnb check out time and when we had to leave for the airport. They also assisted with taxi. The rooftop terrace was incredible. Hot water is for real. Overall, great value and we will stay there again when we return.

Set in a beautiful building with a courtyard and lovely roof deck, this B+B is located right off the main square of Cusco and central to all the sights. The breakfast in the morning is simple but fine, and the best part of all is their sweet, friendly resident cat - Maria. The staff joked that she owns the hotel haha.

At first I thought the hot water wasn't working well, but it just takes a couple minutes to warm up. Once it did, the temp was good.

Very kind staff! They were kind and had good advice. The location of the hotel is really central! Also there is a great breakfast! The rooms are very comfortable and I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel after my checkout. The staff also were kind and checked me in during the early hours of the morning. I felt very safe there. The best thing about the hotel is the sweet cat! She doesn't bother anyone, but if you see her you are lucky!

The establishment was thoroughly cleaned, and the staff was very accommodating. On Valentine's Day, we were pleasantly surprised with a beautifully made bed and a rose in our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture! And Maria the cat, not only gorgeous but also remarkably friendly, never failed to bring joy to our day. Many thanks to the Hotel Santa Maria team!

Location was great, breakfast was decent, rooms are big and tidy.

The showers weren't great, the first room the shower was broken so they moved us rooms. The second room there was very little cold water so shower fast so you don't burn yourself!

The staff was very helpful, and they have a very cute cat. There are two cafés right next to the hotel, which is very convenient for getting coffee, sandwiches, and juices.

The rooms on the first floor lack privacy as they have windows either facing the hallway or the yard. The bed sheets aren't very clean; I found hairs and spotted stains on them.

The hotel is located in the exact center of Cusco, 2 steps from the main squire. You can find a lot of restaurants and shops in the area. The room is comfy and warm, with nice breakfast included. The personnel is friendly. Can recommend this facility to stay.

All was good. Staff at the breakfast didn't speak any English, however employees from the reception supported and everything went well.

Affordable room in a perfect location just meters away from the main plaza. The facilities were great, as was the breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. Abel gave me some very useful advice and always cheerfully welcomed me when I came in. 10/10, would stay there again.
