The staff here were SUPER friendly and very accommodating! They were attentive and went above and beyond with any request we had — from requests about the food, a last minute request to hold our luggage while we went to Machu Picchu, to reasonably priced, by-the-kilo laundry service that left our clothes super clean and smelling subtly nice (and two requests to wash delicate jackets where they came back in perfect condition!), to holding a package for our tour guides to pick up, requesting a taxi, and so much more. The place itself is cute as a button, too! The included breakfast was simple but fantastic. You got to choose from three types of eggs and a pancake for the hot portion, and they accommodated requests (eg, adding ham and cheese to the eggs). I loved that for the buffet part of the breakfast, they put out a little at a time. They constantly refilled the options, which to me indicated it was fresh. Also, the location can’t be beat! I could go on and on about what I loved about our stay at Yabar. I hope we have the luxury of coming back to Cusco and staying here. We’ve already recommended it to people we know that have upcoming trips!

Pedestal sink (not enough space to store toiletries next to the sink) — plenty of room elsewhere in the bathroom, though. Wish there was a hook closer to the shower for hanging the towel and more than one hook in the room for our towels once done drying. Only sharing this one to confirm what you see in other reviews (they did not bother us) — the walls are thin, so bring earplugs if you’re a sensitive sleeper.

Conveniently located! Super Clean Outstanding staff. We loved Samir, he was very attentive, friendly. He carried our bags when it was time to depart and wait with us for our taxi.

Excellent location , very friendly staff, good value for money. This is my third visit in Cusco and Yabar is by far the best hotel I've stayed so far. We spent 8 days at Yabar from April 4th, 2024The staffs are the best in fact without them Yabar Hotel would not be the same. They all speak very good English and are all very friendly and helpful. Samir makes good breakfast, Melissa always welcome you with a beautiful and big smile on her face and so does Karina. Thank you so much my friends :) On Yabar itself. Good size room, block heater was provided. Hot water was ok. Only a few steps to Plaza de Armas. Can be a bit noisy due to the proximity to the main square but whereever you stay in Cusco you will hear the noise just bring ear plugs however at night it is very quiet. The hotel is in an old historical building you may hear other people walking but nothing disturbing. Again a big thank to Melissa, Karina and Samir you are the BEST !!!

The hotel is very safe and secure. When getting a taxi late at night, the staff go out first to make sure it is legitimate. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The ascetic was super cute. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist no matter the time. Always ensuring that we were not suffering from altitude sickness, and if we did there was oxygen onsite.

The water shut off one night, Nothing the hotel could have done, it was a city wide thing.

The hotel is clean, it's in a great location in the center, staff were good with us, reception Karina and Samir, specially Samir was really helpful. Thank you guys.

I didn't like the room they give me when I booked with genius discount, they give me a room with a really small uncomfortable bed, I couldn't sleep at night, and when I asked they told me the price you paid is for this room, that was unfortunate, although the pictures with the discount is th same ones without the discount, then I had to change to other more expensive room to get a comfortable bed.

Excellent personnel, very kind and helpful. The location was more than perfect, just 50 metres from the main square and still very quiet. Clean and cozy facilities.The day we left very early for a daily tour they prepared breakfast in a box. During our trip to machu Picchu, they kept the luggage without charging. When I will return to Cusco we will definitely go there again.

Very friendly staff, we arrived early and they made sure our room was ready as soon as possible so that we could get in earlier. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable bed. Perfect location, in the heart of the city.

A bit noisy (the room was facing a pedestrian street and we could hear people coming back from partying early morning)

Huge room & bathroom, comfortable bed, fantastic location

Shower was over the spa, a bit dangerous getting in & out. There was no water most evenings at least for a few hours, but when there was water it was good pressure and hot. There was a weird window from our bathroom that went into the hallway, at least the glass was frosted.

Location, 75 meters away from plaza de armas,(main square) on a pedestrian only narrow street

Being an old colonial building, the wooden floors make a lot of noise when walking, but due to heritage protection laws it must be preserved like that and cannot be modified To minimize noise.

Staff were very friendly and very welcoming a big thank you to the staff Samir, Melissa,Alberto and Karina they were all very lovely. And the hotel was very close to the main plaza of Cuzco.

The fact that every step people were doing you could hear it but I think is also because is an old structured hotel
