The room was nice and comfortable, although it would be even better if some rooms could be modernized or upgraded to offer a nicer view. What truly made our stay special was the staff — they were exceptionally friendly, respectful, and always willing to accommodate our needs. Their warm service really enhanced our experience and made us feel welcome. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay thanks to the wonderful team at Somerset Hotel Makati.

On the downside, one of the elevators was out of service the entire week, which was inconvenient. The parking area was also very steep, making it a bit challenging to use.

This is a centrally located apartel-style hotel in the Makati business district near the Greenbelt mall, a nice park area (Legazpi park), and a number of top restaurants. There is also a convenience store next door and a nice coffee shop/cafe just a couple of doors down. Although an older hotel, it is well maintained. The room is of good size and there is a small kitchenette. It is tastefully furnished with a nice view. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. There is a large gym with a comfortable library style sitting area next to it.

As mentioned this is an older hotel but it has generally been kept up well. An exception was the shower which could not be adjusted, so the stream was far too strong. The pool is smallish but big enough to swim it but gets little sun as it is lodged in between the hotel and another highrise building. These are relatively minor issues but given the price is about the same as newer hotels (even the Somerset Salcedo in another nice part of Makati), it is a little expensive for what it is.

Its nearby to my office in Ayala, also its a 5-10mins walk to Greenbelt Mall, so food options are all around. The room they gave us was clean when we arrived, although the carpet or maybe also curtain has this old funny smell which can only be removed when they replace it for sure.. i raise this concern and they moved us to a better room, its also bigger and the work desk is good for me to use. The bed is comfortable, we opt to book with breakfast, it was OK, coffee is good + hot chocolate. The staff are friendly. The hotel has laundry area for self-service so its a plus if you stay long.

Nothing thats major. The hotel is good. Although for improvement- There are only 2 lifts and few tables for the breakfast restaurant.. its a bit dark outside maybe they can light up better their signages,

The 2 bedroom unit was very spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast included an entree off the menu plus the buffet. The food was very good.

We were 3 families travelling together, but we're put on separate floors with no access to each other unless we went to a community floor. I appreciate the security, but not allowing us to reach each other was a little inconvenient. My 15 yo stayed in the room while most of us went out one day. When another family member wanted to check on him, they were not allowed to go to our floor.

1 bedroom apartment was very comfortable it had all the facilities required and it was also very clean due the fantastic housekeeping staff .. it was very quiet so we were never disturbed .. location was excellent and having a park 2 min walk away is such a blessing in a busy place such as makati ..the staff here are exceptional and made are stay here so comfortable ...breakfast was also excellent lots of choices...

Shower is a over the bath which was fairly high to step in & out of - this is personal as I have a bad knee so it wasn’t ideal but was fine overall

The location and proximity to the Mall is a plus! One of the duty managers, Lin, was exceptionally professional. She went over and beyond to make my stay comfy.

For a supposed 4 to 5 star rated property, the facilities need to be upgraded. The breakfast was absolutely almost non-existent. I want to believe this may have been a one-off anomaly.

the breakfast couldn't be taken out, i mean i hope that there's an option of taking it out in case we're not gonna dine in because sometime where in a hurry and we'd rather take the food out.

there was a lot to do when checking in. it took me around 15-20 mins and that was around 11PM, just got from a long flight so the ease of checking in should be faster like get the details and done.

They provided a bed, pillow, robe, treats and food bowl for my baby dog. I loved it! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Kudos to the employee who helped us transfer our car, without any scratches, from the back parking of the hotel to the front parking.

I didn't like their parking at the back of the hotel. I noticed a lot of scrapes on the wall of their back parking space. We cannot risk having our vehicle damaged 'coz we needed to travel back home. We opted to park in front of the hotel.

Everything good at the hotel, nothing to complain about. Very good location. If the price would be more fair i would have rated it 9 or 10.

I had some issues regarding credit card before arrival, and they were very difficult to communicate with. But in the end it was solved, but the email communication should be improved. The hotel is overpriced.
