The reception was staffed 24/7, professional and helpful people who knew their city, and who appreciated humor and a good laugh. Always helpful at the reception, whether it was train times I needed help with, or good local places to eat. The breakfast was more than adequate, nothing to complain about. Good times for a long breakfast. Breakfast staff provided good service. Very good location in terms of location in relation to the old town, to the Jewish quarters, and not least to public transport. 15 minutes slow walk from Krakow Glowny, the main railway station. 2 minutes to tram stops, 5 minutes from local train to the Salt Mines, or to the Airport.

I would have liked to have stayed another day or two. Time went by too quickly, but I can't blame the hotel for this! Unfortunately, we couldn't find anything to complain about, sorry to say, to those who are looking for fault!

The staff was great and helpful during my stay and before my arrival via the messaging service . The room I booked was a double room with a small balcony overlooking the cathedral's spire. The room was a bit small but had everything you needed - a mini bar, a large wardrobe with hangers and shelves, an excellent shower and toilet. There was also a dresser and 2 chairs and a large mirror. It was definitely a great value and very comfortable. The location was wow - in the seam between the Old City and the Jewish Quarter and there was a tram stop downstairs for those who wanted to. Thank you to the dear staff!

The hotel is great, excellent location, people at the reception very polite. Service 100+. Would definetely repeat. We also asked for early checkin and we got it with no issues at all.

I paid around 25% more for a “superior room” than my cousin that got a “normal room”. Mine was at the fourth floor with views to an interior patio (no real views), she paid less and her room was at the first floor with views to the city/street. I never understood the difference between one or the other, had same service and similar room unless the “superior” word means higher in the building, it did not include breakfast either... Explanation at the recepcion was not very clear, they said it was bigger and had more ammenities… but we were not able to find the difference, we got exactly the same room in size and ammenities.

We had a wounderful 3 days stay at the Wielopole Hotel. A big thank you to all the lovely reception staff who looked after us before and during the stay. They were exceptionnally professional, efficient and ever so helpful and kind. This is also true for the restaurant and cleaning staff. Our rooms were spotless with everything functioning and in top order, which is not always the case in all 3 and 4 stars hotels. The Wielopole Hotel is well located only a few minutes walk away from the historical center and from many organised excursions pick up points. Great stay, top value, highly recommended ! Thank you !

My single bed matress was too soft, otherwise everything was just fine👍.

I like everything about this place, which is why I have stayed multiple times. Very friendly staff, the hotel is perfectly situated for access to central Krakow; they do a great breakfast and the place is always clean. Despite being so close to the Old Town, there is never much noise, but so much literally on the doorstep. Great restaurants and bars, convenience stores. Literally everything. Above everything though, the staff make this place great. Always friendly and ready to help at any time. Absolutely great value for money, I literally have nothing negative to say about Hotel Wielopole!! I've stayed in several places, but I keep coming back here.

Not really a dislike but even though we were two single travellers occupying double rooms it was odd to only be provided with a single duvet for the bed. And the restaurant downstairs, whilst exceptionally clean and providing delicious and good value for money food, does not let you charge your meal to your room without an additional 10% charge, which we didn’t realise until the end of the meal resulting in a quick dash upstairs to retrieve a way to pay…though this may well have been outlined in the information sheets provided in our rooms that we didn’t read!…neither is a gripe or a dislike, just a comment, and would certainly not prevent us from booking again 🙂

Everything was wonderful and I had an exceptional experience, thanks to the incredible staff! From the moment I arrived, Anna, Edyta, Julia and a guy working at night in the lobby went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring my stay was enjoyable. They provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, making it so easy to explore the area. One morning, I had an early trip, and Anna with her coworkers even prepared a breakfast box for me to take along—such a thoughtful touch! All made my stay memorable. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel valued as a guest and supported by a team of caring, knowledgeable individuals, this is the hotel for you. I can’t recommend it enough! I can't forget each morning the breakfast girl kept everything clean and well-stocked, and her positive attitude really set a great tone for the day. Great staff, food, location, only 10-15 minutes walking from the Mall/Train station.

The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy all the cultural experiences of Krakow that you have planned. The staff are great nothing is too much trouble ensuring quick check in & out always asking how your trip is going when you pass through reception Room was comfortable,clean & spacious a/c a bonus in 24c temp at time of visit Great choice at breakfast good quality options and delicious fresh coffee. In a nutshell a good quality friendly hotel have already recommended to family and friends as the place to stay when you visit. See You All again

I can honestly say I did not have any problems during my trip

The location was absolutely perfect. Just outside the areas with tourists, but with truly walking distance to everything (specifically it sits in the middle between Old Town and the Jewish quarters), and close to the train station which could take you directly both to the airport or the salt mine for instance. I don't think I could have been more happy about the location. The room was small, but a very good size for one person for a short stay. Good tap water. Decent space for getting unpacked. The rooms were also very well cleaned. I was surprised by how clean it looked and felt. Even inside the water kettle. Finally the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good service and assistance whenever requested, and available 24h.

Very few and minor things. The pillows weren't the best, but could definitely still sleep well. Not very interesting channels on the TV to keep on while you were getting ready. (Didn't have any problems with the noise levels which others have complained about, heard nothing from the street, but I was in a one person room which is located away from the street)

My stay at the hotel was amazing. I particularly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fact that they speak English without any problems. The hotel itself is really close to the Old Town, but also close to Kazimierz, so it's convenient to visit all the sights you know and want to see. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, in my eyes there was enough choice for all tastes (bread, vegetables, eggs, omelette, sausages, pancakes, cereals). I stayed in a single room, which is not large, but as I only went back to the room to sleep, the size of the room was enough for me (I am only writing about it in general because there were people complaining about the size of the room). The fact that the rooms are cleaned only on request (including taking out the rubbish) also suited me. No noise, although I'm a sensitive sleeper, so I'd say the soundproofing of the rooms is good. There was a small kettle in the room and it was handy to make tea. I would have liked a bigger pot, but you start to crave these things when everything else is fine :)
