For many Americans, the name “Holiday Inn” evokes budget, sometimes even seedy or rundown hotels in the states. Holiday Inns can be a real mixed bag. But this particular one is anything but. It’s a first-class hotel with quiet rooms, a nice breakfast buffet, and friendly & helpful staff. And the location is pretty much perfect; just a five minute walk from the main area of Krakow you’d want to walk around.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the overall quality of accommodation and the professional attitude of the staff during check-in. The experience was smooth, welcoming, and carried the signature of well-managed hospitality. That said, I feel it is important to offer a gentle yet firm reminder regarding the sanctity of guest privacy. In such establishments of high standard, where discretion is a virtue, all staff should be fully aware that any information concerning guests is to remain entirely confidential. No detail, no matter how small, should find its way beyond the intended boundaries.

While I rate my stay a 10 without hesitation, I did sense that certain information about me may have surfaced where it should not have. Though no harm was done, such situations can lead to unnecessary misunderstandings, and in circles where trust is currency, this must be avoided. I strongly advise that the hotel ensures the utmost discretion is shown to every guest, at all times. The hallmark of a truly excellent hotel lies not only in its comfort, but in the quiet assurance that what happens within its walls stays there. In all other aspects, a wonderful stay. I shall return—granted, the vow of silence is better kept next time.

Amazing Experience at This Hotel! I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail aimed at comfort. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, always going out of their way to assist with a smile. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet—it was diverse, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The hotel’s location was perfect, close to key attractions yet peaceful enough for relaxation. The overall ambiance, from the lobby to the rooftop, was cozy and elegant. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a mix of luxury, comfort, and excellent service. I can’t wait to come back!

Great Stay, But One Suggestion I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel; everything was clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. However, I would have preferred if there was a bidet in the bathroom. It’s a small addition, but it makes a big difference for guests who are used to it. I hope you consider adding this feature in the future.

The hotel is wonderful, and if we had all the stars, we would give them to this all-inclusive hotel and its staff. My stay from the beginning was comfortable because of the wonderful staff, the luxury, the cleanliness, the beautiful rooms, and the very high-quality services, in addition to the reception staff, where you find yourself surrounded by attention. Thank you to the hotel management and thanks to the staff as well. We will not forget the female employee. The polite and wonderful receptionist (Alexandra) who gave us a lot of time to help me and my family with some of our work through concierge services.

- Fantastic location between Old town and the Jewish Quarter (but much closer to Old Town, which was great as we just wandered over there really easily for a bite to eat etc). Also right next to Wierpole 2, where many tours to Auschwitz pick up, and very close to the railway station, from where its really easy (and cheap) to get the train to the salt mines / the airport. - Excellent breakfast buffet, with loads of choice -cold cuts, fruits, extensive hot selection, pastries, breads, yoghurts, cakes, eggs cooked to order etc. All very nice quality too. - Really helpful staff. - Overall the hotel was much, much better than my perception of the brand (having staying in Holiday Inns in the UK and US). Super clean, really nicely furnished, nice lobby bar etc.

Location, rooms and breakfast were excellent! The staff was very helpful. I accidentally left part of my luggage at the hotel and they were kind enough to organise separate transport for it straight to the airport making sure I caught my flight.

I messaged the Hotel that I would be arriving early and I was not immediately informed that I could do an early check in if I subscribed as an IHG member. I was told this only after a few hours but nonetheless I was shown where I could work in peace while waiting for check-in and served an early lunch although the restaurant was not yet open.

Hotel was clean and modern, staff were very helpful when we needed to check in early and leave luggage. We were surprised how spacious our room was, lots of space. Larger than most hotels i have been to. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from and eggs cooked to order. Parter had poached eggs which he enjoyed. We would stay here again if we come back to krakow. It wasn't far to the centre and there is a nice vodka bar near by.

Room comfortable and clean. Location was very good.

Room was noisy, presumably because of the plumbing with creaking and banging noises. It was as though someone was walking above on creaking floorboards but we were on the top floor. They were very stingy with milk pots - only 2 per day and if you opted to go green’ and not have your towels changed your coffee and milk wasn’t replaced.

Our room was comfortable as was the bed.. the bathroom was a good size and the towels an excellent size and in lovely condition. The location was really good with being so close to the square. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We would have liked strawberries and blueberries at breakfast, also granola and Greek yogurt. The hot food wasn’t very hot, the beans were actually cold.

The hotel was very conveniently sited close to the main square of the Old Town and easy walking distance to the Jewish Quarter, Oskar Schindler Museum and restaurants etc. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Excellent choice at breakfast, never feeling over crowded despite the size of the hotel. We were very generously upgraded with goodies in the room and a free drink in the bar as it was my husbands birthday.

One morning the water wasn't very hot. I guess this was because it's a big hotel with a lot of guests and we were later getting up that day. We didn't complain as it did not impact on our holiday at all.
