Big rooms , comfortable beds, clean facilities, helpful staff, great location near the Old Town, quite location. Good air-conditioning in each room. Will definitely return if we visit Krakow again.

If you come with a baby stroller, there are 3-4 stairs between the elevator to some rooms. Parking is not optimal but reasonable walk distance. Some flaking lights in bathroom.

Ventus Rosa had everything I could have wished for—a continuously replenished and diverse breakfast buffet (the honeycomb was a highlight!), clean rooms and facilities, and a beautiful private sauna section. However, the morning receptionist during my stay might benefit from additional training. On the morning of the 25th, he was unable to operate the fire alarm system, which he later admitted was a false alarm. On the 26th, I waited 20 minutes at reception with no response after ringing the bell. Eventually, I found him in the empty restaurant. I had intended to book a taxi, settle my outstanding bills, and reserve the sauna for the afternoon, only to be told it was fully booked. Later that day, the afternoon receptionist assured me the sauna was available, and I merely had to wait for it to heat up. This suggests the morning receptionist either misread the booking information or misled me following our awkward encounter in the restaurant. Regardless, he didn’t seem particularly business-oriented, and no apology was offered to rectify the situation. That said, I had a wonderful time at the hotel overall and would definitely recommend it!

The Breakfast was good and quite varied, including local dishes and some international food. But it was similar each day. It is close to the main attractions and public transport. Parking is available at a secure, open-air car park, which is located 10 minutes' walk away from the hotel.

I would have preferred the car parking to be closer and less expensive. Our room was on two levels, with the bedroom upstairs and the shower room/toilet downstairs. The stairs are very steep and little difficult to negotiate, in the middle of the night. The only window in the apartment was in the upper level and looks over the adjacent rooves.

A good location. The room and bathroom were clean with good facilities. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast (although it would help if all the dishes were labelled - I'm vegetarian and I gave a few dishes a miss because I wasn't sure what they were).

I'm not sure why but when I filled the bath tub with water, the water was yellowish. Two bulbs in the bathroom took turns flickering. The choice of channels on TV was very limited and when we followed the on screen instructions the attempts to cast our own apps on the screen failed. I tried to lower the room's temperature but it kept going back to 23.5 degrees. To be fair, I didn't speak to the hosts about any of the above - it was a one night stay and these problems didn't seem worth the hassle. Also, the room was significantly smaller than in the photos - I was a little disappointed when we saw it, although it was enough for what we needed.

Amazing, the property was immaculate and very well thought out. Staff were welcoming and attentive and always willing to help or assist. Our room was a great size, clean and had lots of ammenties which made things easier. We had a large orangery which was quirky and gave you a great view of the court which was private and very quiet. Hotel was on the perfect location for the square and jewish quater all in a 5-10 min walk which couldnt be better! Breakfast was great with a large selection and the decor was classy and welcoming. We will 100% staff hear and only hear when we come back to Krakow, couldnt recommend the hotel enough! Only down side and i really have to think is the bed could have been more comfortable but that really is being picky. All in all one of the best hotels for the money we have ever stayed in. Well done to the staff and thank you!

The Ventus Rosa was in an excellent location to explore Krakow, located near a lovely park area and transport infrastructure and short walk to main square and lots of amazing local restaurants and attractions. The hotel felt very authentically Polish. Our room was immaculate, warm and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were all helpful, especially when we all of a sudden had no hot water, we were immediately offered an alternative room which was a suite and again immaculately clean and warm. Breakfast variety was ample you could fill up for the day. A lovely packed lunch bag was offered when we were unable to attend breakfast due an early start day trip. Veronica the receptionist was helpful and very attentive to our requests.

Breakfast room music was quite oppressive that may sound bizarre but local radio or something a little more uplifting would be more pleasant. When we arrived we were asked if we had booked in with Alfred we hadn't because I wasn't requested to do this the receptionist was a little short with my lack of awareness. The same receptionist was short when we requested to book a taxi for a short distance but it was a very early start. We asked a different receptionist who helped us with this request.

We arrived nearly 24 hours late as our flight from the U.K. was cancelled and were feeling rather tired and frazzled. We received a warm welcome from reception and were given the keys to a lovely large room which immediately felt like a haven! The hotel was lovely and quiet, has a lovely atmosphere and is impeccably clean. After a brief rest we went for a walk- five minutes and we were in the main square where the Christmas market was in full swing! Sadly our stay was a day shorter than we planned but loved everything about the hotel and Krakow, The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is perfect. if we return to Krakow we would definitely want to stay there again/ Thanks to all concerned. We found nothing to complain about.

Our room was simply spectacular; we had a kitchenette with coffee, a refrigerator and a small stove; We had a sunroom which allowed us to sit and look out into the courtyard at the end of our day; The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous and equipped with two sinks; Convenient outlets and USB ports at the bedside; Location of the hotel was fabulous---near the old town , transportation and restaurants; Sometimes there were treats in the lobby when we returned from our day; Breakfast was wonderful with many choices; The room had a 100 year old olive tree and the biggest honeycomb for fresh honey; The staff replenished the food promptly and the hot food (eggs, sausage, bacon) was always fresh. There was also gluhwein available---a bit of a luxury.

Our only complaint involved one member of the staff (a tall gentleman) who was not very accommodating.

Excellent buffet breakfast with wide choice of good quality meats, sausages, fruit, breads, cheeses, cakes, coffee, tea etc. Much better than we recently experienced in other hotels where they put out the cheapest and poorest quality spams and meats. Rooms were well kitted out and spacious, children loved the two storey apartment.

Not much to dislike really, some of our party complained of hard mattresses on the beds but I found mine firm but comfortable.

My second visit to this hotel and certainly a pleasure to return. Location is excellent with a short walk to the Main Railway station, a few minutes walk and you are in the centre of Krakow. Very clean premises throughout and all of the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The bath was a bonus after a long day. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice for all tastes in a very pleasant dining room.

My only criticism is that there was far too much hotel stock in the fridge making it difficult to keep your own produce in there. A very minor thing.
