We stayed in room 307- balcony overlooking courtyard. Nice size room and bath. Clean, quiet and less than 5 minute walk to old town. Very safe. Great value for the money. Breakfast buffet was excellent- variety of meat and cheese and vegetables. Delicious bacon. Couple varieties of eggs. Several breads and cereals. Yogurt. Coffee machine and several teas and juices.

Just a word for those who have mobility issues- we had to go up and down a few steps to get to our room. No problem for us, but let them know if you have mobility issues. They have rooms where steps are not necessary.

Big rooms , comfortable beds, clean facilities, helpful staff, great location near the Old Town, quite location. Good air-conditioning in each room. Will definitely return if we visit Krakow again.

If you come with a baby stroller, there are 3-4 stairs between the elevator to some rooms. Parking is not optimal but reasonable walk distance. Some flaking lights in bathroom.

The room was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was excellent with a great walk in shower. It was very well located for the old town.

I like to open windows and unfortunately I had some very enthusiastic smokers in the room next door. They smoked on their balcony for long periods and their balcony was only 2-3 metres away. The staff weren’t as helpful as I would have liked eg I asked the receptionist for recommendations for a good restaurant and she looked surprised as though I was a bit strange for asking and pointed me to the restaurant next door - Cult is a karaoke bar and not really the kind of thing I was looking for! I did find a great Indian restaurant called Flame which is about 300 m down the street.

Ventus Rosa had everything I could have wished for—a continuously replenished and diverse breakfast buffet (the honeycomb was a highlight!), clean rooms and facilities, and a beautiful private sauna section. However, the morning receptionist during my stay might benefit from additional training. On the morning of the 25th, he was unable to operate the fire alarm system, which he later admitted was a false alarm. On the 26th, I waited 20 minutes at reception with no response after ringing the bell. Eventually, I found him in the empty restaurant. I had intended to book a taxi, settle my outstanding bills, and reserve the sauna for the afternoon, only to be told it was fully booked. Later that day, the afternoon receptionist assured me the sauna was available, and I merely had to wait for it to heat up. This suggests the morning receptionist either misread the booking information or misled me following our awkward encounter in the restaurant. Regardless, he didn’t seem particularly business-oriented, and no apology was offered to rectify the situation. That said, I had a wonderful time at the hotel overall and would definitely recommend it!

Ventus Rosa is excellently located, 10 min walk to the main square, 17 mins to Wawel castle and, bonus, less than 5 mins walk from Kraków Grzegórzki station, a 25 minutes train ride from the airport. I used an e-scooter (loads parked right outside) to get to the Schindler Factory Museum (well worth a visit by the way, book a guided tour to get tickets at short notice). My room was spacious and the kitchenette (microwave, double hob, fridge, sink, crockery etc) was useful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the typical buffet variety. Overall, excellent value for the price.

The only downside for me was that I found the bed uncomfortably hard, and the pillows uncomfortably firm.

The Breakfast was good and quite varied, including local dishes and some international food. But it was similar each day. It is close to the main attractions and public transport. Parking is available at a secure, open-air car park, which is located 10 minutes' walk away from the hotel.

I would have preferred the car parking to be closer and less expensive. Our room was on two levels, with the bedroom upstairs and the shower room/toilet downstairs. The stairs are very steep and little difficult to negotiate, in the middle of the night. The only window in the apartment was in the upper level and looks over the adjacent rooves.

Lovely hotel in great position between the Old Town and Jewish Quarter, close to a station (1 stop south from Krakow Główny) with direct links to airport. The breakfast was amazing - a buffet with a huge variety of food for all tastes, it really set us up for the day. We especially liked the option to have lots of vegetables (including grilled asparagus at this time of year) salads, and fresh yogurt with honeycomb, alongside the standard fare of cooked and cold options. Rooms, and the beds were very comfortable, we had a pretty balcony opening onto the central courtyard and a little kitchenette. Reception had umbrellas which we could borrow in case of rain.

It was all great really - a slight niggle was the noise of things being wheeled across the cobbled courtyard in the morning but this acted as an alarm clock ensuring that we started our day and got to breakfast in good time to enjoy the sights of Krakow.

A good location. The room and bathroom were clean with good facilities. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast (although it would help if all the dishes were labelled - I'm vegetarian and I gave a few dishes a miss because I wasn't sure what they were).

I'm not sure why but when I filled the bath tub with water, the water was yellowish. Two bulbs in the bathroom took turns flickering. The choice of channels on TV was very limited and when we followed the on screen instructions the attempts to cast our own apps on the screen failed. I tried to lower the room's temperature but it kept going back to 23.5 degrees. To be fair, I didn't speak to the hosts about any of the above - it was a one night stay and these problems didn't seem worth the hassle. Also, the room was significantly smaller than in the photos - I was a little disappointed when we saw it, although it was enough for what we needed.

Amazing, the property was immaculate and very well thought out. Staff were welcoming and attentive and always willing to help or assist. Our room was a great size, clean and had lots of ammenties which made things easier. We had a large orangery which was quirky and gave you a great view of the court which was private and very quiet. Hotel was on the perfect location for the square and jewish quater all in a 5-10 min walk which couldnt be better! Breakfast was great with a large selection and the decor was classy and welcoming. We will 100% staff hear and only hear when we come back to Krakow, couldnt recommend the hotel enough! Only down side and i really have to think is the bed could have been more comfortable but that really is being picky. All in all one of the best hotels for the money we have ever stayed in. Well done to the staff and thank you!

Service was excellent from start to finish. Staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, whether it was with local recommendations or small requests during the stay. The breakfast was another highlight—plentiful, varied, and delicious. Fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, and quality coffee were served in a cozy dining area that felt both relaxed and refined. The hotel also features a wonderful small spa, which is easy to book and never felt crowded. Despite its size, it had everything needed to unwind after a day in the city: a steam room, a compact but relaxing pool, and well-maintained treatment spaces. It’s a perfect little retreat within the hotel. Altogether, the hotel offers a well-balanced mix of location, comfort, and atmosphere. Its historic charm, excellent service, tasty breakfasts, and peaceful spa make it a great choice for both leisure and business travelers.

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of older-style interiors—and from the photos, that wasn’t entirely clear, at least to me.
