Some staff very friendly and helpful, particularly at reception but staff at breakfast need a bit more customer service training/support. They were not very welcoming to guests.

The room was amazing! And a big well done to the cleaners - everything was cleaned very well and stocked up. The bed was comfortable, well ironed sheets were very comfortable and there was just enough pillows for us. The bathroom was good size with everything we needed. We really loved our stay there. There’s plenty of storage which is great! Good size fridge and an easy to use safe. It’s 2-5min walk from the main square so we really got both - close to all attractions and quiet spot to rest. Definitely recommend!!

The hairdryer was quite outdated and it took forever drying up my hair. Receptionist was nice but at a push, so you really had to beg her for things that you needed which we thought in 5 star hotel wouldn’t be a problem.

Excellent location, quiet cul-de-sac and only a few minutes walk to the main square. Breakfast was sufficient but abit limiting with the hot food. The room and the bed were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we loved the cosiness of the hotel bar/library for either pre meal drinks or for a nightcap.

The only negative thing we would like to mention was the temperature of the room. Even though there was a thermostat on the wall this didnt seem to make any difference . We found the room too hot so some of the time we needed to open the window during the night to cool the room down.

I booked Hotel Gródek as a surprise trip for my partner after him passing his medical exams and it did not disappoint!! We were kindly upgraded to the presidential suite and received chocolates and wine. It was very touching and a perfect way to celebrate him qualifying as a Dr. The hotel was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. Location was ideal and walking distance to plenty of great bars and restaurants in the old square. We enjoyed happy hour in the Hotel bar between 6-8pm. The bar is in a library and it was a perfect place to have a cocktail before dinner. I cannot fault our stay we had a wonderful time in Krakow. Thank you Hotel Gródek!

Breakfast was good, the room was very comfortable & warm, however the Shower was below standard for me as the shower head would not stay pointing over the bath, for me I prefer a walk in shower and not one over a bath as it is hard to get in & out being of older generation. The location of the Hotel was excellent very close to the main square and some fantastic restaurants. Overall our stay was great.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was decent size, bed and sofa very comfy. We really liked the vintage interior design within the whole building.

Phone was broken and staff was unaware of that. To be fair we have been asked if we want a technician to be called in. We decided not to as didn't really need it. Also tv was little bit aged and didn' have wi-fi access so we could not stream from own mobile/tablet. That is kind of annoying as there are just basic channels available. No netflix etc. But after all these were a minor issues.

We have stayed here before, and it remains an excellent hotel in a quiet central location. It's a 3 minute walk to the main square, but it is exceptionally quiet at night as it's away from the bars and restaurants. Room was comfortable with a reasonable sized bathroom. The air conditioning was on, and water was also provided. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Polish breakfast was excellent.

Shower curtain in the bath. The room was quite small but okay for a short stay. If you are staying longer a bigger room may be worth the extra.

Excellent buffet breakfast , loads of choice and always topped up with, rooms were lovely and a bonus a bar in the library area. Staff very attentive, used Adam the taxi driver from hotel for trips and airport pick up. Location is excellent , 10 minute walk into market square and other areas , castle about 20 minutes all walkable . Bars and restaurants all nearby the vodka bar and a polish restaurant. Rooms are older style to fit in with building did not eat in restaurant at night but they do have a few choices on menu.

The location as hotel is only a six minute walk to the main market square and at the same time it is in a rather quite location facing the pancy (the park that goes round the old town).The property was converted with taste and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and varied. Staff was very professional and helpful. We had a late night flight and were allowed to keep the room for an additional 300 Zloti. Although 300 Zloti is not cheap, we appreciated this gesture as it permitted us to enjoy our last day in krakow..

No real complaints. Just a comment and personal opinion. Although it is a very good and comfortable hotel, I would rate it as 4 Star and not 5 Star. A five Star rating is on the generous side. Moreover the little quaint downstairs bar and library could be made more use of possibly by offering complimentary tea, coffee and some cakes giving the guests a possibilty to socialise.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience overall. Here are my thoughts: Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The quality and selection exceeded my expectations. Location: The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. It made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. Room: The room was comfortable but a bit on the small side. While it had all the essentials, there was limited space to move around. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent breakfast, ideal location, and cozy, albeit compact, rooms.

One downside was that some of the staff spoke only very basic English. This occasionally made communication a bit challenging, especially when asking for specific information or assistance. It would be helpful if more staff members were fluent in English to make interactions smoother for international guests. Overall, though, the positives of my stay—great breakfast, perfect location, and cozy rooms—outweighed this minor inconvenience.
