Service was absolutely perfect - the staff was always happy, friendly, helpful and professional. Reservation desk worked like a charm. Breakfast was very good, every morning a little different and always something traditionally polish. Extra thanks for the staff in the kitchen / breakfast room. The room was 100% clean, functional and peaceful and the balcony facing the inner courtyard was a lovely addition! Bathroom was spotless! The beds were very good and the extra bed was large and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Just a few minutes walk on the peaceful and lovely streets to the central square with the Sukiennice and the Church of the Virgin Mary, and only about two minutes walk to the park. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Altogether a perfect place to stay in Kraków!

Great central location. Just a few minutes stroll into the main square, but yet quite for a good night sleep with good amenities close by. Good breakfast (continental with a few hot choices) and friendly staff. Very clean and spacious two bedrooms apartment. Beds are comfortable and a large comfortable sofa for chilling. Ventilation in the bathroom is excellent. It doesn't steam up at all after shower, very impressed! I would suggest having a few more hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes/towels. There were four of us sharing the apartment, and not enough hooks for us (we've used the towel rail too). It's a shame the apartment only has one bathroom. It would have been perfect if there's a second bathroom/showroom, or even just a separate toilet. It's just a little inconvenient when someone is using the bathroom and someone needs to use the toilet, but we've managed for 6 nights. I would definitely recommend this aparthotel, and I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here, the room was large with tea and coffee, also a minibar which was reasonably priced. Large bathroom with hand-wash and shower gel. Hairdryer on the wall and was actually OK for a hotel hairdryer. Breakfast was OK, served different hot choice each day, plus usual cereal, toast, meats, cheeses. A few minutes walk to the square, 10 minutes walk to the main rail and bus station. Staff were friendly and always on hand. 24 hour reception

Not a fault of the apartments but we faced the main street and did find it noisy on a night. There is a bar almost opposite and we did find it hard to sleep at times. We had early starts for our trips so needed to go to bed earlier than usual on holiday. Room tip - ask for a room at the back of the building

Location was I n the old town but quiet. Very clean. Rooms were very modern and large. Plenty of room for cases, hanging sp ace and drawers for longer stays. We had a junior suite with a kitchenette, couch (extra double bed) with a small balcony. Lovely white linen and towels, comfortable bed, great shower and modern bathroom. The included breakfast was delicious with a variety of hot food that changed daily along with a typical European cold breakfast of beautiful meats, cheeses, fruit, coffee machine, and homemade cakes. Overall an outstanding breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Perfect location, just around the corner from the main square. Hotel was clean and good value for money. Always a few steps to manage at the entrance as well as to get to your room but ok for us but i can imagine could be problematic for the elderly or disabled. Breakfast was ok, mainly continental but very basic for what we as Brits are used to. We actually went out for breakfast on our last day which was more to our taste and lovely. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Well for us it’s mainly having a little more cooked choices at breakfast. And maybe more coffee choices in the bedroom, was nice to have a coffee machine but the pods provided were far to strong for me.

The location was perfect, 1 minute walk into the main square with bars, restaurants and shops. Only around 20-25 minutes from airport. Our room was spacious, clean and modern, couldn’t fault it. Receptions staff were lovely and helpful. We had an early trip booked and our pick up was 6.45am, breakfast starts at 7am, and the young man on reception kindly organised a packed breakfast with sandwiches, yoghurts, fruit, water and snacks to take with us.

The breakfast selection wasn’t amazing (as a Brit), could’ve been a little more choice for example, there were no ‘normal’ sausages, no bacon, no beans, there was fried eggs on one occasion of our stay (stayed for 3 nights). With that being said, there was enough bread, cold meats, small fruit and yoghurt selection and a couple of cereals. One small other thing is that we only had 1 standard size pillow and one small square pillow each. This could be personal preference but we both normally like 2 pillows each but didn’t affect our sleep too much.

Portal House Apartments were really good. Stayed in a one bed apartment on the first floor. Fantastic location, minutes away from the main square. Breakfast was a brilliant selection and different choices on some days, always fresh and tasty. Very clean too.

The apartments could be a bit noisy. The first night was dreadful, I'm not sure what the people upstairs were doing but it sounded like moving furniture around and talking very loudly. The rest of the nights the noise was fine and kept to a minimum. Had it gone on all night I would have spoken to reception but thankfully it didn't.

I can’t put in to words how fantastic this place is! The apartments we stayed in were huge, beautifully presented and immaculately clean. Perfectly located just a stones throw from the main square but not too close so you can enjoy some peace in amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. The service was second to none, and staff were incredibly helpful particularly with allowing us to store luggage on our check-out day, and ordering taxis to the airport. Breakfast was excellent, just what we needed to set us on for the day. And if you do decide to use the mini bar it is very well priced as are drinks that you can buy in reception to take to your room.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. I liked having someone at the front desk 24 hours. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hotel was on a quiet street yet just around the corner from the main square. It was close to everything. I will definitely stay there again.

The elevator did not go directly to the room floor. However, it was not a problem because the staff helped carry our bags up the stairs to the elevator and then from the elevator up the stairs to our room.

The location was excellent. Only a couple of minutes walk to the Main Square, yet a quiet road. The building was lovely and very well organised with a buzzer so residents could come and go with ease. The reception staff were very helpful, particularly Roza who organised trips for us and was so lovely and friendly. The dining room was small but great choice of continental breakfast. We had one of the apartments so had a lovely balcony and lots of space.

Nothing really. Only criticism was we put out the “please clean my room “ sign on the door and confirmed that with reception, and when we returned from a busy day, we had to source clean towels, but it was dealt with instantly
