Great location for visiting everything worth seeing. no where was far to walk. Even places like Schindler’s factory was well within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was big with bath and shower. ok you had to go to reception or down stairs for Wi-fi. But you’re on holiday, don’t live on your phone. Breakfast was continental with eggs and sausages. But delicious enough to set you up for the day. Coffee machine in restaurant to help yourself anytime. Receptionist helpful and full of information.

The pillows took a bit of getting use to. Stiff neck first night. Maybe some better quality pillows would make guests more comfortable. As they were too flat.

Location was amazing. You could hear the trumpeter from our open window. Even with the busy streets below, when you closed the window, you had silence at night. Beds were huge and comfortable, the rooms were the most spacious of everywhere we stayed in Poland.

The company the hotel used for taxi service to the airport did not show up. The hotel did scramble and found a nearby driver, and it was almost half the cost of what the hotel had said the price would have been with their contracted company.

Brilliantly located for Krakow old town, less than 5 mins walk to the main square. Not far from the main train station from the airport, and well connected for trams etc Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, although dining room a little cramped. Staff helpful, room was very spacious and perfect for our few nights in the city with young kids. Bathroom in particular was excellent. Hotel is far enough away that you don't get any real noise from the busy part of town, whilst still being a stones throw from it.

Not great for accessibility- lift was out of order during our stay which meant buggies and bags had to be carried up stairs. There is no step free entrance to the building so worth bearing in mind if you need that access. Not the hotel's fault, but it's very hot and stuffy in the room- fans in the room helped. But that's summer in Poland, in a building built before Aircon!

Perfect location. Very close to the city center. I lived on the last floor, so I had an additional spectacular little roof window to watch the stars at night. It's a small but nice room, with a clean and tidy bathroom. The building is quite old and has no elevator, so consider it if you are traveling with a child in a stroller or large, heavy suitcases. I will definitely consider staying there again during my next visit to Krakow.

This a minor detail, but in the bathroom, the hair dryer is located too far from the mirror.

Very central location, excellent price. Staff friendly and polite. Bed was very comfortable! We booked an apartment, the rooms were huge and we had the bonus of 2 toilets. The breakfast was not to our palates but was very generous and well presented.

The jets hadn't been cleaned on the spa bath in the room, which we didn't realise until our final night :( Quite noisy as it's just off the main square but didn't disturb our sleep. The room was very hot.

The hotel was a great location for a short walk to the main square. The receptionists were all so very helpful with any questions about where to get coaches for trips I had booked. Being able to leave my suitcase in the storeroom before the bedroom was ready, was very helpful, so I could take a walk around to get my bearings. The choices for breakfast where many, and all so freshly prepared. Much appreciated for everything.. All being well, I hope to return some day, and will recommend this hotel to colleagues and family.

I appreciate that the Hotel is an old building, however only having Wi-fi at reception area was a little disappointing. This was because the tour provider may have been trying to contact me about any changes in times, or cancellation. But, this did not spoil my overall enjoyment at Great Polonia.

We liked a lot! We came a bit earlier than should to be signing in, but it wasn’t any issue. Staff was very polite and helpful. We actually getting a bigger room and it was big joy to our son too. Hotel was actually easy to find and the old town square was very near. Signing out morning we have to leave early, even before breakfast started to be served. But staff was so nice and cook make breakfast earlier for us. Thank you, we liked to visit there again!

The location was perfect. Super close to all of Krakow's tourist attractions, perfect in-between between The Old Town and the hip neighbourhood of Kazimierz. The room and the bathroom were big enough and the bed was comfortable. Also the hotel was super flexible with our luggage.

The only thing we didn't like was the thermic isolation of the room. We were on the last floor of the hotel and it was really really hot although it was only 25 degrees outside (much less during the night) and all heating seemed off. We don't really know what happened but it felt like a sauna most times.

Very nice looking hotel in a great location - some 2 minutes from the Main Market Square. All of Old Town, Wawel Castle Galeria Krakowska, Main Railway Station within walking distance. Delicious and lavish breakfast (was not included in the price, we paid for it separately). The staff informed us that in the breakfast zone tea and coffee is free of charge 24/7, also there was bread and milk. Very nice.

The beds are comfortable, the room is a good size, the breakfast is outstanding, location is outstanding. Would definitely stay there again but would request a room on a lower floor with a full window that I could open for fresh air.

We were in one of the top rooms with the ceiling windows. The room was pretty warm during the visit. We did our best to ventilate but they really keep the hotel warm, and of course the upper floor will be the warmest. It wasn't unbearable by any stretch, but a few degrees cooler would have certainly been nice.
