I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Maximum in Kraków. One of the best parts was its location; it’s just a 5-7 minute walk to the Old Town, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. Being near the park that surrounds the Old Town was a great bonus, offering a peaceful place for quiet walks. I stayed in room 100 on the first floor, facing the back of the hotel (not the street), and my room had three beds, which were very comfortable. Initially, I was concerned about potential noise from the street due to some previous reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that while I could hear the tram a little bit, it didn't bother me at all and didn't affect my stay. To me, this hotel felt like a hidden gem and it completely exceeded my expectations. It’s definitely a place I’d love to revisit. My stay was memorable, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the best of Kraków.

The hotel is very close from the train station,just a five minutes walk to the old city center. Nice room on the fourth floor,every day they come to change the towels and clean the room. We caught days when the temperature was between 0 and 5 degrees,but the room was very well heated, we even turned off the heat and open the window Nice and quite varied breakfast with everything you need to start the day. The cofee was excellent.

Itl is only a 3 star hotel, so don't expect luxury, very good value for money The only minus is the size of the shower cabin, which is small, but the bathroom is big enough

Simple hotel, with fabulous staff and service. Breakfast very good. Fresh fruit daily. Decent coffee. Wide selection of juice, eggs, sausage, ham, cheeses, cakes, yogurts, juices. Friendly staff in kitchen and dining room. Reception staff exceptional and went out of their way to make phone calls, provide guidance for trips, book taxis, provide maps, and site seeing tips. Location was tops, 8 minute walk to the main market square and the castle, and much more of the old city. Excellent WIFI. Good television reception. Free water every day. Clean towels every day. Rooms were cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day. Cleaners were pleasant.

Our rooms were on the street side and the trams could be noisy, although we were not particularly disturbed by it.

The location was good with short walk to the old town and Galeria Krakowska. Also public traffic was easily available. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. We had two twin rooms and the one facing the street was very small and had lot of noice from the trams. The bathrooms were very nice with good shower. The staff in reception was very nice and willing to help with reservation for extra night and transfer to the airport.

There was smell of drain when you came in the hotel. I think that the restaurant was only for breakfast. The coffee machine could be quicker and having americano available.

Perfect location for all amenities, great staff and comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast, couldn't have asked for anymore, great value.

I recently stayed at Hotel Maximum , and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops.Everything about my stay was great. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials I needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met promptly and with a smile.

i did notice unpleasant smell in the toilet during the night

The hotel is perfectly positioned. Short walk to the square and pickup for tours only 2 minutes walk. Big selection for breakfast and a lunch bag on the day we did a tour and missed breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spotless. There is a small garden area out the back if you are a smoker.

The room was a bit small, but that wasn't an issue. And there are about 10 steps up to the reception when you enter the hotel. . Also, it wasn't an issue for us.

The young lady at reception (long hair and glasses, sorry I didn't catch her name) was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and efficient. She is a credit to the establishment and conveys a very positive impression. They are lucky to have her.

I am used to very big beds, so I found the small single bed a bit off-putting. Also, the rooms would benefit from black-out curtains as the existing curtains are very light. The young lady at reception told me where I could buy a sleep mask, so this resolved the matter for me.

The rooms were clean and tidy.

The breakfast was not great. There were hotdogs mixed beans and potatoe things and scrambled eggs. The rest was more continental cheeses and meats. There was fresh fruit, but if you weren't down early, they didn't replenish it again. We stayed 3 days all in, and my son and husband skipped breakfast the 3 days. We had to go out and get something to eat.

Breakfast was very good overall, however for people with food intolerances was slightly disappointing. The receptionist were very efficient and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent close to the old town and to the Galleria Krakowska.
