The night desk staff were immensely helpful in dealing with an issue we encountered with the local train authority (MPK). Briefly: two of their 'agents' accosted and fined us, following an issue with a malfunctioning ticket machine on one of the local trams, without allowing us an opportunity to exit the train to seek a functioning machine. The two staff members helped us compose an appeal letter to MPK in Polish (since we don't speak), which we sent the following week.

We had no complaints/issues with the hotel room/service, only with MPK as explained above.

It is new and beautiful hotel, the room was really great, the bed was extra comfy. We even wondered what brand and name of the matress it was. If it is not secret we would be happy if the hotel could disclose it in the comments :) The breakfast was good. Our son especially enjoyed waffles.

We arrived 15 minutes before check in time and were informed that we have arrived too early, the room is not ready yet and we would have to wait. It seemed fine. However, when we approached the reception again, some minutes after the arrival time, at first, we again were informed that we have arrived too early, and, when we objected, the receptionist informed that the room is still not ready. Thus we had to wait some 20 minutes in addition. Although the receptionist apologized at the end and after our check-in the hotel offered us a coupon for one snack at the lobby bar, not too generous though, the tea or coffee during waiting time would be nicer. Thus the first impression was ruined a bit, because we didn’t felt that we are welcomed.

The breakfast was not so good, and because of this, I chose not to eat it during my stay. The food was lukewarm, and tasted like it was sitting out for a long time.

Number 1 thing for improvement, was that my bed appeared to be hardly made and the garbage was not discarded when room service came in to attend to my room. I would expect more attention to detail within these areas. The check-in receptionists were very nice and accommodating. However, I would have be fully satisfied with the service if my room was ready upon my arrival. In order to fulfill my request of having a room on the top floor, I had to wait for an additional 10 minutes, I was offered with complimentary coffee or teas, which was to my liking. Overall, my experience was excellent.

The location is good.

Check-in process is not good at all. our room rate is confirmed in euro currency, but when we arrived they said they don't accept Euro currency. they are in Europe and confirming our price in Euro currency but they denied accepting euro currency. on that day their card reader machine was not working, could not pay by card. also, it was late evening so all currency exchanges were closed nearby. we had to call our known friend who came with local currency, we paid and check-in was done. we waited almost 2 hours for check-in process to complete. very strange one thing they are in Europe and they don't acccept euro currency, and if they do not accept euro why they confirmed our room rate in euro currency when we made booking.

The staff were fantastic. As a non polish speaker and travelling alone, they were great for advice and suggestions. The hotel is in a great location, lovely rooms, comfortable bed. Large shower, lovely breakfast. Very much enjoyed my time

The front and back entrance weren’t obvious initially. I walked round the block twice before venturing through the doors to find lifts. Very small detail and possibly me not being too observant

We liked everything. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. All facilities worked perfectly. Brilliantly located and well connected. Amenities close by, safe and secure, great breakfast with varied choice. Easy check-in, check out. It's a chain hotel done right.

Nothing to add. Can feel a little corporate or businessy with staff interactions. As you don't always go through reception, not always the most personal feel, but these are personal preferences, not a comment on quality.

The breakfast was excellent. It is really the highlight of the hotel. So many choices for hot or cold items, juices, breads and pastries, coffee options. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel!

The front desk staff was not as friendly as I expected. They were correct, but nothing more. A smile goes a long way, especially when I’ve spent over 10 hours flying, then train ride.

Excellent location, comfy beds, very clean in general, comfortable and spacious shower, friendly staff and affordable rates. Highly recommended place to stay in Lódź.

As much as hotel in general offers very high standard I was slight disappointed with breakfast and restaurant menu. Quality of the meals unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations.

That's why we came here for the second time, because we really liked it the first time. If there is a third, we will stay here again. Easy to reach by car, easy to leave on foot - great location and environment.

We didn't encounter any problems that the staff couldn't solve. For the first time, the hotel parking lot was full - thanks to the staff, we got a place in the adjacent building.

Great location, very nice hotel and great breakfast too.

This might sound strange but, the pillows were too light, to the point that my head was basically lying in the mattress despite having one. The pillows were real indeed, because I could see them, but strangely enough I could not feel them. I don't know...Perhaps I should also consider the option that my head is heavier than the average human being :)
