The hotel had beautiful decor for Christmas and the atrium where we ate breakfast created a unique atmosphere! The hotel also created a great atmosphere for a romantic get away for me and my wife. The hotel was very clean, and our room was cozy. The staff were all excellent and very friendly. My wife and I don’t know how to speak Polish, however the staff all spoke English, which made our stay there incredibly easy. The location of the hotel is fantastic, it is a 1 min walk from Poznan’s old market square. The staff in reception were very helpful and booked us a taxi to pick us up from the airport and an early morning taxi to the the airport. We enjoyed relaxing in the hotel bar/restaurant in the evening and enjoyed delicious cocktails and drinks while listening to live piano performances in the evening. It was great to come back to the hotel after a day exploring Poznan and relax in the cozy hotel, have a few drinks and listen to Nicholas play the piano. Breakfast was also very nice, and the location of breakfast was beautifully decorated.

The hotel is located in the Old Town in a quiet square, only 2 minutes away from the main square (Stary Rynek). The hotel itself has a certain old Central European charm (apart from the breakfast area which has a sort of faux Mediterranean style).Breakfast was adequate, although a few more choices would have been welcome. The staff were friendly and polite and the hotel as a whole was clean and quiet.

I was advised by Booking.com that I had been given a free upgrade to a superior room. I don't believe this to be the case, but that said, the room was clean and comfortable. Although I booked a double room, it was the usual set up of two single beds pushed together with a space in between.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is within walking distance of the Old Market Square but in a quiet location. I also liked the breakfast in a very pleasant open area.

No fault of the hotel but the taxi company contacted to take me to the airport was unreliable. They didn't turn up and when the hotel contacted them to find out what was happening they said they had no taxis available but they didn't tell the hotel this so 40 minutes was wasted waiting for a taxi which was never going to turn up! The hotel then contacted another taxi company. The driver got me to the airport ok but I must say his driving was somewhat manic! Perhaps he had been told to rush to get me to the airport!

Fabulous room, spacious, well appointed and very clean, The location was perfect, facing a large car free square with a lovely view from my window. I apricated the lift, the kettle in the room and a very decent breakfast. I found it to be excellent value for money. The staff were all very willing to help, held my luggage on the last day and arranged taxis to and from the airport.

Not a single thing not to like.

The hotel is located in the old town a short walk away from the main sights of Poznan. I got a very spacious and comfy room where I felt good and enjoyed my stay. The room was amazingly clean and provided anything I might need, even a kitchenette. The bed was great and very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and ready to help.

Unfortunately, the room didn't have an AC, which would be a great help in the heatwave I happened to travel. The breakfast variety could be broader.

Well situated right on edge of the old town and we walked to a lot of museums and many restaurants and pubs. Had a really fun evening at The Dubliner, great live rock band and the whole pub was up and dancing. Hotel had lots of atmosphere and felt like stepping back in time (in a good way). Breakfast let it down badly... Food very average but staff completely absent.

Location is amazing. The design is cool with a central 'courtyard' and triangular lift(!). I've stayed a couple of times and rooms are good, although design is a little old fashioned. Beds comfortable and bathrooms large, clean and well equipped.

Breakfast was a little strange. All platters were empty. We asked and they were refilled pretty quickly. Might have been more difficult for non-Polish speakers.

Excellent location in a very quiet, pretty square. 1 minute walk from the main old town square where bars, restaurants and the goat church are located. Staff were really accomodating but not overbearing, we felt really relaxed and at home. Beautifully clean large rooms, newly decorated, sturdy walls and windows, so pretty quiet and felt very private (we stayed in deluxe double) Nice big double bed with two single duvet covers, some people might not like this, but we did. Some reviews said the rooms were cold, ours was very comfortable. Snowy outside, -5 degrees C at night , but room stayed around 20 degrees. Some reviews said limited hot water, but we had multiple baths and showers, always with hot water. Beautiful covered courtyard full of plants.

Doors were noisy to open and rattled when other doors were used so we were woken by people coming and going in the next room. Beautiful roof terrace with gorgeous views isn't open this time of year (early march) which is a shame, but staff kindly let us go up there for a short period.

Location was superb.Staff unbelievable.Rooms fantastic.Lovely quiet area but not to far away from centre,Definetly not overpriced.Everything you want and need for a great long weekend.Will be back again no doubt about that.Love this hotel.

Everything was brilliant.Nothing not to like.Loved every minute of my stay. Five Star.As I have already said will be back.Absolutley brilliant place.As I have said staff,rooms,bar,breakfast everything could not ask for more.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Holegiacki. It is only a few minutes walk to the main town square. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a lovely choice of food for breakfast, and the Hotel Staff were very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Poznan.
