I really enjoyed my 4-day stay here. This riverside hotel is a 5-minute walk to the city center and right by the conference center I was attending; overall it sat in a very convenient position for my trip in Torun. The room was pretty nice too. No wardrobe but plenty of hangers on the walls. There was a small table with two chairs (useful for the bodyweight exercises they recommend in the halls!). The floor is made out of soft material which makes walking barefoot in your room very nice. I also liked the open bathroom with the toilet being located in a separate room.

- The card key would often malfunction when trying to unlock my door. I had to get it replaced two times during my stay. - The air conditioning in my room wouldn't turn off and was not responsive to my attempts to adjust the temperature. - The wi-fi signal is somewhat reliable, surely not strong enough to stream videos smoothly on it.

- friendly staff - problems and requests were quickly taken care of - easy and accessible - ideal for spontaneous and short trips - fair price - 24/7 reception - English speaking staff - although a small room, the shower was rather spacious, enough room for two people. Haven't tried breakfast or lunch, so no comment

- room was a bit cramped - window couldn't be fully opened - no menu / instructions for the air conditioning - toilet looked sterile and bland like in a hospital (maybe some colours or decorations) - some areas lacked proper cleaning

Staff is friendly. Location is perfect. Everything as should be. Of course for the budget you can expect lower quality breakfast, beds, rooms which is not a bad thing. Just for the not all money of the world. I've stayed in Ibis budget in Wroclaw, Warsaw and here in Torun and I like it for the short visits.

The electric sockets was not near the beds. Other than that nothing comes to mind. Keep in mind the short list of choices at breakfast but for 30 zl it's a great option.

The location is just perfect! A walking distance from the city centre. It was quiet and very safe. The reception staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have also responded to emails very swiftly with useful information and tips. Great value for money.

The room was rather basic. No kettle in the room. There was a kettle at the reception with tea and coffee sachets but all at an additional fee. Great value for money though, the location is a winner.

Great value all things being considered. The room was very comfortable. The shower was bigger than normal. European hotel rooms are smaller, but traveling solo it isn't an issue. There is a nightclub across the road and it was loud but I was pleasantly surprised how effect the window was at reducing the noise when I closed it.

You have until 10 pm to decide if you'll pay for breakfast, but if you decide the next day they charge you a little more. Seems petty.

Great location. Easy on the pocket - good value for money. The aircon was working very well, it was nice to have a cool room during very hot days.

Squeaky bed. Other than that I cannot complain for the price. Nothing to do with the hotel, but the Copernicus hotel, across the road, had two very loud parties with very loud music two nights of our three night stay. The parties were going into morning hours disturbing our sleep. I guess it's something for your consideration. It was like sleeping next to a night club that had open windows. But again, it's not Ibis's fault.

Basic room, very close to the city center. Parking lot available for hotel guests for a fee. Room small, simple but tidy with a sink and shower. TV with variety of channels. Breakfast basic but with quite a variety of food - awesome energetic oat bars!

The bed mattress is super thin and the pillows are very small so it really is a very basic version of bed. There is no separate bathroom - sink and shower are directly in the room. No scrambled eggs for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is convenient to visit the old town - only 7-minute walk. It is also a 30-minute walk from the main railway station. The room was clean, the receptionists were responsive and nice and I would recommend this hotel especially if you are not planning to stay indoors, but rather do sightseeing.

The sink is within the room next to the bed, which was not a problem for us (married couple), but could be an inconvenience to some. It would be great to have a hair dryer available in the room and handy instead of the reception.

Nice and quiet place. Good for few nights. Close to downtown and river walking paths. Friendly staff.

I was attending a meeting at nearby venue but this was much cheaper and excellent value for money It is only ten minute (or less) walk to the town centre so is ideal for a low cost stay
