Amazing view, good location, big and comfortable bed, good breakfast.

People with OCD might struggle, the lamp is not in the center of the room, the floor pattern was inconsistent (some tiles were different for no reason at all). The television is too small and also centred with the bed. (disclaimer: that did not impact our stay significantly) :)

It's the greatest hotel ever. I loved to stay here very much. Wonderful view, located in the beautiful nature reserve. Big and clean room and heat under the floor in the bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bonus was the snow. Great experience :) To travelers who travel by public transportation - it's possible. there is a chatel that drives from Coviliha to the hotel and arrives at the top of Torre to enjoy the ski and snow view.

everything was just perfect

The room was good and clean, and we didn't smell the smoke from the distant fire outside. Breakfast was very good. The elevator is a very old one, but it reminded me the elevators we used to have in my childhood.

Because of the smoke we couldn't use the outside swimming pool and we weren’t told in advance that we all need head cover (women, men and children) – you had to buy them 5 Euro each.

One of our favorite places. It was an outstanding room for the price. Our room was very large with a high vista. Enjoyed soaking in the large tub after a long drive through the mountains (short drive to Torre). Their restaurant was to die for. Had a wonderful waiter. One of us had veal with gorse and juniper berries and the other had mushroom risotto, along with a local wine & dessert: a truly memorable meal. The building was unique and amazing, you would expect would cost more to stay.

Wish we had the time to stay longer; we were very impressed.

Breakfast was very good! The pool and SPA was excellent for adults and kids. Also liked the kids and play room. Roomservice works very well also!

We are a family of 5 people (2 adults + 3 kids) and the rooms are just abble to accommodate 4 people maximum. So we our older son has to be in our friends room (family of 3 people) otherwise we will need to rent another bedrom and be separeted. They should have a room for big families can be all together.

The room was spacious and well equipped - very comfortable. The room was quiet. The extremely large building has a feeling of spaciousness. The views over the valley towards Spain are impressive. The staff were all professional, polite and helpful.

No coffee maker or coffee of any type provided in the room. No choice for dinner in the restaurant - only a buffet. Limited menu in the bar. Not so much a criticism more a suggestion - provide better information at the Front Desk regarding the local walks/ hikes. The QR coded information provided was insufficient.

The facto that the sunbeds were all around the property, (in the green mountain view areas, as oposed to the pool side).

Well, the hotel accepts dogs in the premises, but not in the comon social areas of the facilities. Not a problem with the pets themselves, but with the owners, actually. They were just a few,but have we encountered one huje dog beneath their owners table at breakfirst, (it spooked my kids), and one other day we crossed an owner who decided to take is pet to make his needs in the grassy area, (in the same space that all the other guests use to sun bath... not cool).

Wonderful hotel set amidst stunning surroundings and incredible views - so peaceful and beautiful. We went as a family and the children loved the indoor pool with free access to the sauna and steam room, as well as the outdoor pool. The grounds were gorgeous, lots of birds, hammocks and swings and chilled out seating areas. Food was delicious too.

I loved everything from the 1st minute. From reception staff to the cleaner everyone was 10☆. I cant believe we got beautiful places like this in Portugal for the kind of price. Reception 10☆ / Pools 10☆ / Bar Staff 10 ☆ ( especially Anderson & Wilma) We would like to thanks everyone in general for the great esperience. Ps: Breakfast was wonderfull oh my God.

Lovely location in the mountains. Big garden with various types of seating in sun or shade. Very attentive staff in all areas Spacious bedroom with large windows overlooking the garden and views Large bathroom with a good shower Excellent breakfast with everything you could possibly want, buffet style.

Air conditioning in bedroom didn't seem to cope well with high daytime temperatures. Inadequate and rather mean complimentary tea, coffee in room ie one decaff coffee sachet( to share between two!!) and two herbal tea bags . We queried this at reception and were told this was correct. Reception staff member did kindly supply one more coffee sachet.
