Great location- right in the middle of the Bairro Alto neighborhood close to everything. Walking distance to all major areas. The staff was responsive and immediately fixed a problem with the windows that we reported. The air conditioner works great!!!

One apartment was advertised for four but could really only accommodate three people comfortably. It was two twin beds and a futon. We paid to leave our luggage early- and we’re charged for leaving luggage in both apartments- however, it was really just one apartment. Then, when we returned at check in time- the cleaners were still working, so we still couldn’t relax in either apartment. Be aware- The streets below are a big bar and club scene- seemingly every night. The floors are thin so one can hear everyone coming home in the middle of the night. However, the actual bedroom is well insulated from the street noise- the futon is less so

The location is great — close to everything! The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable for four people. The staff were wonderful. They offered us an early check-in at 12 pm for 10€ (actually even earlier, since the host let us know as soon as the previous guest left), and the cleaning lady kindly lent us some umbrellas. It has a washer/dryer, which was a big plus. The only downside was that there’s no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up to the second floor (third floor by U.S. standards). Also, there was quite a bit of noise — creaky floors, other guests coming and going, and sounds from outside, since the apartment is right in the heart of the bar and restaurant area. We were okay with that because we knew what to expect, but it’s something to consider if you’re traveling with heavy luggage or if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, everything was great and we loved the place. We’ll definitely come back!

Older or unfit guests will find the stairs a challenge. Also no drop-off nearby.

Great tourist location. Very friendly host abd extremely helpful to guide us to reach the apartment with ease, things to do, etc. Very warm and welcoming, thanks to Paula. The apartment is well stocked as a kitchen, bathroom, size is very decent too for 2-3 people. They have a washing machine and a well done apartment for the basic stuff. Surely recommend staying here and the area is very touristy and well located in an old neighborhood of Lisbon.

Good location but not the best if you have small kids say upto the age of 5 or so due to the hilly walks around. It can be noisy at night due to the busy location for tourists around the entire vicinity. No lift - huge problem to carry luggage, we got lucky to get the 1st floor but anything above that considering how big the stairs were and with a small kid and 5 pieces of luggage with 2 big bags, the up and down would've slaughtered us!

Luis was a very pleasant host,he gave us tips for visiting Lisbon. Also if you want to eat breakfast they a have a varity of local products.The location is very clean, good, you have stores, restaurants and bars nearby where you can eat breakfast,brunch and so on. Also you have bus station at 2-3 min walking. For those who seek a quiet area, this is not the one, because Bairro Alto is a very noisy neighborhood.

When you washed at the sink in the bathroom, there was an unpleasant smell. Also the entrance stairs for those who have bigger or heavy luggage it's hard to climb it.

construction was going on IWW understand but main entrance door the construction pipe were blocking and was too dangerous

Great location, Paula was great to work with, the team was very responsive when we had an issue with the television, clean, as pictured, AC and wifi worked well. There were a lot of restaurants and places to grab a drink nearby. Kind of a party area, but that didn't bother us, the area was still very safe and the noise wasn't so bad we couldn't sleep. Would definitely stay again.

We used the washer often, and my only wish would have been for a dryer. There is a clothesline on the balcony, but things would fall off. Maybe just providing/ or bringing your own clothespins would solve the issue. This in no way made our experience bad, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Perfect spot for exploring downtown Lisbon. Great and handy for getting around, close to everything. Hosts were great with communication, and there was a bottle of wine left for us to enjoy - we don't drink but it was a really lovely gesture! I'd reccommend some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, but you couldn't be better located!

I forgot this was the night life centre of Lisbon downtown so it was very noisy and early morning glass bottle collections from bars etc was quite disruptive but that's my own fault for not remembering!

This place was clean, neat and comfortable. The washroom is super clean. Note my picture. Also loved the location. Right by restaurants, cafes and look out points. Only a 15-20 walk to the waterfront. You will see pictures from the balcony view in my review The Host was fantastic, Paula. Answered all our questions. The also included a bottle of wine Having a washing machine available was fantastic as well. Black out blinds, keep the place dark when you are sleeping Did I mention how clean the place was again?

The first set of stairs are very steep. So be mindful of those who have mobility issues or if you are booking for the elderly.

Great lively location with plenty to see and enjoy all around us, including many nice restaurants in cafe. Weekend nightlife can be loud but we knew what we signed up for. Facilities were clean, well equipped and staff was friendly and communicative.

The only small drawback was the shower situation. Although the local hot water tank is supposed to hold enough water to allow 3 people to shower consecutively, it was more like 2 so we had to keep our showers short and scheduled to make sure there was plenty of hot water for all of us.
