I recently stayed at Chiado Arty Flats with my family, and I can’t recommend it enough! We were two couples and two teenagers, and we stayed in the penthouse, which was absolutely perfect for our group. The apartment features two suites (one for each couple), a loft space with two beds for the teenagers, and an additional full bathroom in the living room — everything we needed for a comfortable stay. As an interior designer, I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful design of the space. The penthouse was beautifully decorated with unique and artsy furniture pieces made from unconventional materials, in keeping with the property’s creative vibe. And the view! The panoramic sight of the city and the piazza in front of the building was just breathtaking. But the penthouse is just the beginning of what makes Chiado Arty Flats so special. Here are a few other things that made our stay unforgettable: - Location: The property is situated in Chiado, one of the most charming neighborhoods in Lisbon, and is within walking distance of just about everything. You truly couldn’t ask for a better location in the city. - Concierge Service: The concierge team, especially Paul and Catarina, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I accidentally left behind two items — a prescription pair of glasses and an AirPods case — after I’d already left Lisbon. The team arranged to have them shipped to me in Italy with great care and prompt communication. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out. - Breakfast: We had the most wonderful breakfast together as a family. The staff brought everything directly to our apartment and even accommodated our dietary restrictions. We gathered around the large glass dining table in the penthouse, enjoying a beautiful spread and making lasting memories in such a cozy, artsy space. I wholeheartedly recommend Chiado Arty Flats for your stay in Lisbon. Exceptional service, unique design, and perfect location!

Amazing location, beautiful “artsy” decor. The rooms are clean, functional and spacious for European standards. The breakfast is perfect too, it’s a great way to start your day sooner rather than standing in a line outside one of the restaurants. It also felt very safe, if the receptionist is not around then you need a number code to enter the building. More than anything else it’s the location. You are a tram ride from Alfama. You are a few steps away from Rossio. You are surrounded by amazing restaurants and cafes. One of the days we even managed to sneak out after the kids slept to go and listen to Fado music! Totally recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit Lisbon especially with family.

We had a wonderful stay as a family with a newborn in this accommodation. Everything was perfect starting with the great communication with the reception, the really spacious and clean apartment with big terrace and the fresh breakfast service to the room in the mornings. Also they arranged a baby cot which eventually was not needed, but looked really comfortable. Reception was super friendly and always on top to help. Location is absolutely stunning as you are basically in the middle of all the buzz of the city yet you dont hear any outside noise. Big plus for us was the free parking in front of the house, but this is subject to availability - so i guess we have been lucky this time :)

If I would want to find something I could say that the place is not 100% accessible due to a couple of (high) steps before reaching the elevators. But hey - you are in Lisbon so those few extra steps dont really matter :)

Perfect location to explore Lisbon. Too many stairs in the street makes difficult to carry the luggage, there is an option though to reach the property with less stairs. Spacious, modern, perfectly clean room! Good matress althought the single bed was not too stable. Reception is not open until late afternoon, if you want to leave the luggage after check out. Excellent breakfast, nicely served in the room. Good quality of food and products, adequate qty. Very kind personnel, attentive and asked your preferences for breakfast, willing to offer help or information. Safe neighborhood with a big variety of nice restaurants nearby the property. Overall an excellent choise and perfect stay. Thank you

We stayed at Arty Flats for 4 nights with our 8-year-olds. Tomas and his team could not have been more welcoming, helpful or friendly! This was our first stay in a serviced apartment and it was perfect for us. We loved having the space of an Airbnb combined with the hotel-style luxuries of breakfast delivered to our door and daily cleaning. The area is lively and central, and the flats overlook a beautiful square. The beds were really comfortable and we had enough pillows (a big thing for me!). I was worried about the old-fashioned shutters on the windows not being able to block out light and noise, but actually they did a better job than any modern blind and we all slept really well. It was also fantastic having a bath with shower (rather than just a shower like in a lot of flats!). The cooking/prep area is small but well equipped, so while you could prepare basic meals if you wanted to.

The breakfast is generous and great value: eggs, bacon, fruit, warm pastries etc and was more than enough to feed the four of us each day. However we found after 4 days it started to feel a bit repetitive as the formula doesn't change. Saying that, the staff were at pains to emphasise that we could pick and choose what to have more or less of each day (which I did on one morning), so perhaps if I'd asked we could have mixed things up a bit more. A minor thing - some coat hooks and a dedicated space to store shoes in the hallway would have been useful.

The size of the room was very good, it was very clean and the location was excellent. Communication with the staff was also excellent.

Our stay would have been even better, if the hotel had provided cotton pads and swabs, hair conditioner and few extra coffee capsules, since we stayed for 3 days and there were only 4 capsules for the two of us, so last day we could not enjoy our breakfast with coffee. I would also appreciate it if the room had curtains, because if you wanted not to be seen from the opposite building, you needed to close the shutter. They also need to use bigger bottom sheets.

We had a fantastic stay at Chiado Arty Flats during our 3-night city break in Lisbon with our family of six. The apartment was the perfect mix of comfort and design, offering plenty of space so that we never felt crowded. The location is ideal, putting us right in the heart of Lisbon, with easy access to attractions, restaurants, and public transport. One of the highlights was the breakfast delivered to our flat each morning, a thoughtful touch that made our mornings stress-free. I highly recommend Chiado Arty Flats to anyone visiting Lisbon!

The location was perfect. Centrally located to all we wanted to see and do. We were welcomed by Katarina who took quite a bit of time showing us where things were located on a map. She gives us multiple restaurant recommendations, all were excellent, and tips for navigating the city. The breakfast was amazing, the staff was friendly, room was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

The door to our room was difficult to get into at times. One of the mornings our key stopped working. We were told the door system is going to be upgraded. This is a great idea.

This property is in a excellent location. There is a tram that runs past the property that you can catch to get to other trams, or just take a short walk down the hill to the train station and also the metro station, to buy your daily passes and also catch transportation there. We booked the 1 bedroom apartment and were given unit D on the 3rd floor. The wife and I could easily live in the apartment. Very roomy and cozy with a balcony. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Catarina, mgr, does a fantastic job arranging everything to make you feel at home. Her response to our e mails asking various questions was quick and helpful. Breakfast was very good and delivered to our unit. You are given various times to have your breakfast delivered. Location is really good to many of the local sites, and as I said before, the tram runs past the property so you can utilize it also to get around. Also, at night the outside area is very quiet there, and safe with many restaurants to choose from. We would defiantly stay here again. Great price for what you get in return, a home away from home.

We went on a girls' trip to Lisbon and stayed at Chiado Arty Flats. It's super centrally located with a really great, modern style. There were three of us, and the hotel was perfectly adequate for sleeping. It had everything we needed for a wonderful and relaxed weekend. I would recommend this hotel especially for friends rather than families.

The downside is the noise levels – you can hear everything from the neighboring room, even conversations in detail. Since it's an old building, there are some creaks here and there, but nothing too dramatic. We were three adults, and while the breakfast was sufficient, it would be better if it were adjusted to the number of guests in the room. Instead of serving different items for each person, it would be more practical to provide the same for all. This could help avoid confusion.
