Excellent location within walking distance to many of the sites we wanted to see. The room was exceptionally clean and the host was so helpful with anything we needed from storing our luggage before check in and booking us a taxi to the airport. It was also close to the subway, which takes you directly to the airport. We would definitely stay here again!!

It was a little noisy being over some of the pubs in the area, we recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper but the noise really wasn’t too bad at all. We found the pillows a little firm for our personal liking but the bed was comfortable!

Great location and perfect for a couple

Didn’t like lifting my bags up to the fourth floor but it was to be expected for the age of the property and the position in the old town . Noisy at night with bars around and open till early hours but also to be expected in the location

The property was in an excellent location! We visited during Independence Day and we were close to all the fun. Definitely recommend this location! The place was clean, good amount of space, and great windows for a cross breeze. To note- we loved the area with all the bars nearby but it is a younger crowd and can be loud outside. But we wanted that and knew before booking - was perfect for what we wanted! Thank you!

The property had AC but it was not working and continued to blow out hot air. We luckily had a very nice cross breeze with the windows open which worked well to cool it!

Spotless and comfortable. Decoration really contemporary and thought through - very classy. Looks just like the pictures. Richard was super helpful and also let us drop our cases as we arrived early. Loved having a fridge in the room as well - lovely touch. Very central location which comes alive at night time. The bar underneath was also lovely and great drinks for great value.

We could have done with somewhere to unpack and hang clothes as storage was minimal which meant we lived out of our suitcase. It wasn't an issue for three days but may be for longer period. The area does get very busy at night time as this is the bohemian heart of lisbon with bars, clubs and restaurants all coming alive and running into the night. We were out there with them most nights having a ball and shutting the windows and the shutters reduced ‘most’ of the noise. If you’re a sensitive sleeper or looking for a absolute silence - this won’t be for you.

This property was right in the heart of all the action. It was easy to get to other areas in Lisbon via walking. It is in the heart of the nightlife area, this end of this street is vastly more quiet than the other rowdy areas nearby. This property was super clean! The management was very helpful and flexible with the check in and check out times. The building is a walk up but the staff helped us with our very heavy bags. They also stored our bags for us post check out as we explored the rest of the city.

While the room is very beautiful, well designed and clean. It is not super spacious nor does it have adequate storage options to hang clothes or put them away. However, there would be space to accommodate a small storage solution. This room is very suitable for one person or two people for a short stay. We would have appreciated a small foldable table to eat at, a refrigerator for left overs, and a microwave to heat food. We found ourselves wasting a lot of food and eating in bed due to these reasons.

The room was very comfortable and bed was good. Very close to the centre of Lisbon and public transport. Loved the atmosphere around at night time. Even though bars were open until 2.00am the noise was just about non existent due ro excellent window glazing and shutters. The coffee/ tea and kettle a bonus.

Having to be quite specific as to what time you are arriving, so staff can be there to check you in. You need to have WIFI on so they communicate with you the day you are checking in. If there was a problem there is no staff on site, except house keeping in the morning.

We enjoyed the balcony a lot and the bed was comfortable as well. The bathroom included toiletries and towels as well. The rooms had good lighting and received lots of sunlight. They also provided us with glasses, mugs, instant coffee and a bottle of water. It was easy and straightforward on how to enter the building and check in was smooth.

We were on the 4th floor and the stairs were very steep - we were aware of this though from previous reviews. The shower did not have a door and the bath mat got soaked every time we showered, even when we tried to angle it right. The floors were a bit uneven and felt thin. There was a decent amount of noise between 12-2 am but we anticipated that. Nice and peaceful in the mornings.

Amazing time! It was all I expected and more. Easy check in (specially because I arrived extremely late due to flight problems, good room temperature. The location is great! Did everything by foot (but a lot of hills), metro right next to it, great party atmosphere around it.

The bathroom is a bit hard to take a shower without leaking to the rest of the bathroom but great anyways. Is is indeed very very noisy but it was not a issue for me, I booked with that intention.

The location is great, right in the heart of Lisbon, making it easy to explore the city. The room was on the smaller side, but it was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay. There are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The area can be a bit noisy, which is to be expected in such a central location. The host was incredibly welcoming. Thank you! Overall, we would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the vibrant center of Lisbon!

Location was great, walking distance to all the tourist attractions as well as the train and metro stations. Although it is in an area with many bars, once the double glazed windows and shutters were closed the noise was much reduced and did not bother us at all. The bed was very comfy, the room was clean. We had a great stay!

The only negative was the smell coming from the drain in the bathroom, we found this massively reduced if we covered the shower drain with the soap dish whilst we were out during the day. Overall this was not a big issue for us.
