To the incredible team at Melia Lisboa Oriente, I just had to share how deeply impressed I was with my recent stay – especially because of your front desk superstar, Riva. Her service was nothing short of superb: warm, patient, and genuinely caring. As a guest, I even noticed how gracefully she handled other visitors – including those making demanding or entitled requests. That level of professionalism and restraint is truly rare! Riva went above and beyond by arranging a room with a beautiful view for us. After a long journey, that simple gesture made our entire day (and stay!). It’s clear your team doesn’t just do a job – you create moments. Beyond Riva’s excellence, the hotel itself feels like a perfect home away from home: unbeatable location, heartfelt warmth from every staff member, and an atmosphere that just *welcomes* you. You’ve earned every one of these stars: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (Yes, 6 out of 5 – because you’re *that* good!) Thank you for an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back soon

Always our choice of hotel when we come to a concert at MEO Arena. Location perfect. Room 1615 was excellent with amazing view. Very comfortable. João looked after us very well at the bar. Breakfast buffet & service was excellent.

We arrived early on the morning and the young lady who helped us complete the check in and keep our luggage until the room was ready was charming, efficient and friendly. However when we returned to the hotel just before 5pm to get our luggage & get our room number and keys it was a very different story!! The young man who greeted us had only been there 2 weeks & was unsupervised and to be honest it wasn’t our best experience. More training required.

So convenient to train station and a lot of good restaurants around, especially if you prefer Asian food. We had a high floor with a great view and the welcome gift of chocolate and port was thoughtful and fun. Having the elevator was also handy for the amount of luggage we brought and my father’s mobility issues.

Fish tanks in lobby need cleaning. We did breakfast buffet just once. It seemed chaotic and food was just so-so. We tried the cafe next door though and that was even worse. So good breakfast options were limited in my opinion.

Location couldn’t have been better. Indoor shopping mall with multiple floors, food, court, and restaurants, connection to the Metro, movie theater , train across the street, buses, taxis and walkable to many attractions. The hotel itself is on a main street with views of the city or water views, which are amazing. The staff is wonderful and Maria was very helpful and kind. The beds are comfortable. I had a single serving of Portwine and chocolates in my room . Comfortable bathrobes and slippers. The beds are so comfortable.. breakfast is offered with some packages. I did not have that but look forward to my next day where I will try it.

EVERYTHING! GREAT location, friendly & professional staff & clean rooms! THANK YOU for the welcome chocolates/pastries/red port 🙏🏻

I don’t want to get anyone in trouble. We all need our jobs to support our families. I noticed a few things: —>hooks by the bathroom door were too high for me to reach (I’m only 4 feet 11 in😒) —>small area of mold/mildew (?) by the bottom front in shower —>sink faucet was slightly loose —>toilet flush pressure was not strong…it took 3-4 flushes to clear (no, it wasn’t #2 either 😒)

The view from our room is spectacular. The staff were very attentive, polite and doing their best. They always clean up the room and refill beverages. The toiletries are delicate and have a very nice scent. Bed is so comfy and room is quiet. They even gave us wine and cake for my birthday (Thank you so much 😍) For breakfast, you have to book the schedule, which I can understand for them to organize the bulk of guests. The location is so good , very close to metro (Oriente), bus and train station. You can go easily to the center, airport, sintra, etc. In summary, our stay is fantastic. Indeed, a place where being happy is effortless.

I really liked the large and very comfortable room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room was not too hot or cold, and noise isolation was excellent. I only heard traffic when I had the window open. I picked this hotel for the proximity to Oriente station (and the airport), but the nearby river was a nice added bonus. Ample hot water and good quality shower products. Having an armchair in the room made me choose this hotel over another nearby hotel, and I'm glad I did. The breakfast room was nice and big so I never felt crowded or rushed.

Nothing I would mark the hotel down on, but I did have the housekeeping parked outside my room one day, which caused a bit of noise for a while. This is part of staying in a hotel though. The complimentary snack on arrival wasn't really to my liking. Maybe the hotel could have an option of asking guests if they would like one or not prior to arrival to avoid potential waste?

The room was spacious (we got a free upgrade to the river view) and the bed comfortable, though it was surprising to see a very unsafe window that could be easily opened at the 14th floor, which could let a kid or adult pass through the unguarded outside.

The parking was really small, tight, and difficult to use. It also wasn't initially obvious to find. The electric charging spaces are also very narrow and charging speed is slow (45 km/h) and requires you bring a type 2/mennekes cable. Finally, breakfast options are very slim, and though we'd scheduled our breakfast time (they ask for it, and it's a rather short 45min window), we had to wait 10 minutes to get in, as it was too crowded. Staff isn't always easily available, friendly, or useful, unfortunately.

Location near the mall and Oceanario is great for family with kids, breakfast was good, not excellent though. The room was recently renovated. Rituals amenities were nice.

The room was renovated, however the bathroom was outdated, extra light is definitely needed. Pillows were terrible. The glasses in the breakfast were dirty every morning, I also found a dirty fork, on the last day my husband even showed the staff that the glasses had lipstick marks. Not acceptable.

Quiet sleep, even on a area which can become very busy and noisy! Very clean room. We got a free upgrade to 12th floor with a fantastic view over the river! Thank you! It made our stay very special! Room was extremely well equipped and with a lot of nice touches as welcome gifts as well (sweets, notes, crayons and coloring paper, coffee/tea, and even an indoors-bicycle on the room!) Small details but altogether it made the stay very pleasant.

Minor detail, gluten free bread requested at breakfast for celiac needs, was really not good (heavy, hard, tasteless...maybe change supplier?), but we were happy that at least they thought on having an alternative, so thanks!
