Room was very good (no bathroom but I already knew that) Breakfast was good also All at a very reasonable price.

Staff could be more helpful. I thought I had lost my wallet and called them to check and they said they wouldn't check until the next day. Obviously when you loose your wallet, you are in a rush to check if you need to cancel credit cards, etc... The person even refused to keep my phone number to call me back just in case they found it. Said the only solution was for me to call the next day. She wouldn't do anything that day.

- 10 min from the canal/river side - Not busy at all, every time we had to use the bathroom it was empty on our floor - Not too far from the center, with a taxi it is quite affordable, most of the time cheaper than a bus ticket for 2. With the bus 500, it is a very nice ride - Staff very helpful, nice and friendly. - Check in is available even past midnight - Spacious rooms with balcony

- Breakfast was very basic and there was a low amount of products. There was not enough serving for the amount of people. Breakfast starts at 08:30 and finishes at 10 but by 9, certain products (like cheese, tomatoes, cucumber) are already finished. When we asked for more, they said that they did not have it. Vegan milk, not always present. - The walls are thin, very. You could hear people from the corridor opening their doors.

The staff was very helpful, and the room, along with all the facilities, matched the descriptions and photos. It’s nothing fancy, but perfectly fine for a one-night stay. For breakfast, we had yogurt, some bread with cheese and ham, coffee, and juice - just enough to start the day. The location is a bit far from the city center, but we chose it for its proximity to Felgueiras Lighthouse, which was about a 20-30-minute walk along the waterfront. There’s also a shop conveniently located just around the corner from the property.

We didn’t expect much from this place, but we were happy with our stay for 1 night, especially considering the price, which included breakfast.

I really like Pousadas de Juventude, so it's always nice to be back. I love the breakfast. The room was ok, it was just for one night anyway. It was quiet. The bathroom was very close to my room, and it was spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Close to the beach. There is a bus that takes you from the hostel all the way to the center, and you can look at the cool things on the way.

I guess the rooms might need some renovation (especially the beds, comforters, etc.). But I enjoyed my stay anyway.

The checkout had accepted me at midnight, which is a huge plus. Included breakfast was moderate in quality/quantity, but very appreciated. The room seems to have seen better days, but aesthetics aside, it fulfilled its purpose. Since I arrived late, it's likely the other people complain about the noise, not me. Sorry.

The walls do seem a bit too thin. While I had been able to hear the people outside in the morning, it did not disturb me as I am used to dormitories. But I get the noise complains from the other reviewers. A friend of mine got a room next to the shared bathroom, and it was worse.

Staff very helpful, multiple languages - went above and beyond to help. Breakfast canteen - good mixture of options and unlimited quantity. Reasonably close to the river - trams, buses, taxi - all good if you have the money or/and language - but walking...

but walking, it is quite a way out of the centre. Building getting tired - but is maintained. The communal toilet and shower area in the middle of the corridor - convenient - but several of the cubicles/showers, urinals were out of service.

I have never stayed at a hostel before, and I was completely surprised how good this hostel was. It was modern, warm, comfortable and the staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. I had a warm room, a comfy bed, extremely hot showers plus a filling and tasty breakfast each day. This hostel is superb. Just a five minute walk down the hill you can catch the 500 bus into the city, and opposite is a large supermarket - which means you can cook your own food in the excellent kitchen in the hostel. A great hostel and one that I would be happy to stay at again and again.

The bed were so comfy! We had a balcony for our room which was pleasant! Breakfast is included, and there is a kitchen in which you can cook and store / refregirate your food The location is really nice, within 20mn you can be at the beach or in the inner city centre! Staff was really nice

Sometimes it was noisy at night, but it’s not really the hostel’s fault. Maybe adding a “silence after 10/11pm” sign could be helpful. We also wished there would be more choice for breakfast ☺️ the locker of our window was broken and it was difficult to lock it

The twin room with balcony was really nice and comfortable, and the linen and towels were appreciated. The view was nice and ample breakfast. The guy at the desk in the morning (I think his name was Marco) was so kind and friendly. It was nice to be close to Porto but also a little bit away (45 mins walk) to enjoy the river ocean view. Great restaurant opposite hostel and a big supermarket also opposite and bus stop nearby- didnt need bus as uber was very cheap and quick.

A couple of showers didn't drain well, which was a bit frustrating. Some toilets the lids don't stay up so tricky to use! Minor things because the hostel itself was very nice and staff fantastic.

Honestly, a very beautiful hostel, great reception and assistance The hotel has all the services, including a kitchen, a refrigerator, and a washing machine A very wonderful breakfast and everything is available The location is a little far from the city center, but you can walk if you like to reach all the centers you need close to the sea And from a river A hotel in a very quiet and comfortable place, and each room has only 4 beds There is a place for women and a place for men Very quiet and pleasant hostel The best hostel I went to in all European cities I advise everyone to book this hostell and you will not regret it Even for the very reasonable price, I give this hostel ten stars.

Honestly, there is no problem, just a small problem with the bed above. It needs some repairs to make it work. A little noise and something else. There is no better hostel so far. I have known it in all the European countries I have visited.
