Close to tram connections making public transport easy Hotel located top of Main Street just outside centre of town Room was very clean on arrival and cleaned daily including fresh towels Staff were pleasant New and modern design

There is a very very faint smell of damp, it’s an old building refurnished not sure if there is much they can do tbh Having to leave key card in to reception every-time I leave although it’s quite a unique keycard so I understand why

I had a great time in the Hotel, it was supper clean, very close to all known places in Oporto, the stuff were very friendly and helpful specially the person who do the day shift, I was able to leave my suitcase in and start alreay enjoying my first day ! we will definitely come back ! many thanks for all 😍😍🥰🥰

I would prefer to add more products in daily way in the bathroom.

The hotel crew was really kind and smily. From the the the morning receptionist to the night shift man we have been well received and treated. The room was cleaned everyday.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like something but I would just add some more colors everywhere cause the atmosphere seemed a bit off. The cleaning staff do a great job but be careful in the morning not to speak to loud while some of us still sleep 😉

Everything was great Apart from our room view was Terrible As we got a room at the back of the hotel So outside View was terrible and there was a lot of Rubbish had been left there by people in front Which made our stay relatable due to a very very bad view

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location! Easy walk to the main shopping area and attractions.

We were kept awake by the people in the adjoining room, no sound proofing. There were no options for tea/coffee or any refreshments on site other than breakfast.

We loved the facilities! The room was comfortable and clean! New towels everyday and the room was cleaned which was much appreciated. Staff was friendly at the front. Not noisy at all.

Our television in our room wasn’t working — the only con during our stay. As well as, it’s on a hill so be prepared for the walk back.

Staff was particularly pleasant and helpful ( especially Raffaela). Great breakfast in the adjoining hotel which forms part of the complex. The apartment is only about 300 metres from the pedestrian area so ideal. However hilly and some older people can find it tiring especially going down to the beautiful river. The good news is that taxis are cheap so one could come back (uphill) in a taxi.

We only stayed in the apartment next door to the hotel building so cannot comment about that but the apartment was very roomy and we had a 3 bedroomed apartment with 2 bathrooms, and a good kitchen. It is an oldish but very comfortable apartment.

It was a very pleasurable experience staying at Hotel America. The location is very good and close to the main shopping street but despite that, also quiet. The flat is very roomy indeed with 2 large bedrooms. and one full bathroom plus a toilet and a good washbasin so in fact one and a half bathrooms. There is a large kitchen with a dining area plus a separate dining room. There is no sofa but we did not miss it. Very clean throughout and since it is adjacent to the Hotel, one also has the benefit of 24/7 reception. Very friendly and helpful staff. We also had an excellent buffet breakfast with a wide choice of plenty of hot and cold food. Porto is very hilly and it may not suit people with mobility issues but taxis are easily available and cheap. One small point. The second bedroom lacks a light near the bed, so if you wake up at night this might b a slight problem unless you move the bed towards the electric socket.

Nothing really negatiive about the place at all except the nightlight I mentioned

VERY good and cheap hotel for it's quality, very quiet and nice place in less than 15 minutes away from the centre of Porto, every tourist zones are very near to it and the airport is 20 minutes away on taxi. Absolutely loved it! Thinking on coming here again when i will have time for another trip to Porto ! 🥰

Comfortable bed and enticing decor,

There was some construction going on next door that I was not informed about. Really off putting. Woke me up from what was otherwise a nice slumber in a clean and comfy bed on the whole, it was worth the €60 I paid for my one night stay otherwise.
