The view on Porto is fantastic. The dinner on top of the building is a great pleasure.

The elevators are outdated and slow. The building gives an experience of going decades back in time, but is this 👌 try it yourself.

The hotel is an old hotel supposedly from the 60s or 70s with very nice old decor. You could tell that it used to be much more expensive. Probably, people would consider it old but I very much liked the looks. My room, especially the bathroom, was spacious, with old wooden furniture which was still in a very good shape. I had a beautiful view to the city and the sea in two directions from the 11th (!) floor. But the best view was from the breakfast room in the 13th. I saw several people just having a coffee and enjoying the beautiful view. The name "Miradouro" is no understatement.

Nice accommodation, interesting experience because of the retro style of the hotel. Beautiful view from the room. Quite good location. Good breakfast (lots of butter).

The equipment is already quite used, e.g. the chairs and walls are already worn. But then again, the retro style is preserved, so I understand. Maybe it would be a good idea to have some parts (carpet, chairs) reupholstered in the same style. The room was quite hot, the air conditioning was not quite sufficient. I would have appreciated eggs for breakfast, for example.

the views from both the room and the restaurant are stunning. not many places in Porto where you'll get that. The staff are friendly and professional. Despite it's age, I found it to be very clean. the continental breakfast is worth the money as there's a decent amount of things to choose from....Again, that view!

The decor has slight "overlook hotel" vibes. That is to say, it clearly hasn't been renovated in decades. its kinda kitsch in a way but I can't help but think how truly magnificent that place could be with a complete refit, particularly the restaurant. The bathroom really needs a curtain or blinds for the big window in there. While the sunrise view is stunning, nobody wants their retinas burned off at 8am trying use the toilet.

Staff were all fab. This place is Olde worldy! Comfortable old furniture still in good condition. Decor to match. Lots of wood. You could be on the set of a period drama, so if you like modern, not for you. Superb views of the city in the restaurant at the top of the building. Would be cool if the water feature could be reinstated.

Parking in a hire car you really don't want to damage is a bit tight, but having parking at all in a city is a big bonus. Bathroom design leaves you a bit squished. Original electrics and switches did not inspire confidence!

A nice hostel with comfortable, peaceful rooms and a friendly staff, I enjoyed my stay! The room interior was a bit oldish but kept well clean and tidy. The nights in November were somewhat chilly, but the staff offered me an extra blancket, and then, I slept really well. The breakfast was tasty and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Excellent quality - price ratio!

Not much to complain, since I had such a very good experience. A small minus is that the room did not have a refridgerator or kettle, and the room was a bit chilly during the night. On the other hand, the staff was really friendly and offered me an extra blancket and place to store my snacks that needed to placed in cold.

The hotel is located north of the city, offering a pleasant view overlooking the Douro River. Being reserved for guests on the 10th floor and above, the view is particularly enjoyable. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful in every aspect; Pedro was a tremendous help to me.

The building has a somewhat antiquated style and is located within one kilometer from the heart of Porto. This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't so uphill. The residence is somewhat spartan, yet it lacks nothing. It offers good value for money though."

As described, hotel which has not changed in 50 years, so if you’re looking for a vintage stay, this is your place. Clean overall. Nice breakfast included in the price. 24 hours reception. The restaurant is probably the highest point in Porto, so the views are just stunning. A couple of markets and restaurants in the area. The closest metro station is a 15 min walk and the city centre is a 20-25 min stroll.

Windows are not soundproof and there is a club (with outside terrace) in front of the hotel. Although the rooms are in the last floors, the sound still reach them. Bathroom walls need to be cleaned/fresh painting. Keep in mind that the hotel is on the top of a hill.

An amazing view of Porto city from the room and the restaurant. The beds are very comfortable, so sleeping was easy. The staff is extremely helpful, polite and kind. In our last night, we were heading to the airport at 2:30 am and the staff served us a little breakfast before leaving.

It is a 2 star and very old fashioned hotel that works in a residential building on the last floors, so don’t expect a modern infrastructure.

Definitely a room with a view, the hotel is at the top of 13 storey tower block. Room was comfortable, well equipped bathroom. Location, although not in the city centre of Porto, it is about 12/13 minutes walk to Trindade station, all downhill. There is a bus service from Campanha station, the 206, which stops just before the hotel building, the stop is called Escola Nova, you can walk up from either Trindade or Bolhao Metro stations but it is all uphill.

The decor is a bit dated but acceptable.
