Exceptional stay – stylish, welcoming, and full of thoughtful details I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and elegant. Our room was beautifully decorated with a modern and stylish design. Every detail was carefully considered — from the cozy slippers provided to the luxurious Rituals toiletries in the bathroom, which was a lovely touch. The only small downside was that the room felt a bit tight for two large suitcases – we found ourselves unsure where to place one of them without blocking the way. The breakfast was great, offering a good variety with something for everyone — fresh, tasty, and well presented. We also really enjoyed spending time at the hotel bar, which was beautifully designed and had a great atmosphere. All in all, a fantastic stay and I would absolutely return. The service, design, and overall experience were truly excellent.

Good breakfast, with a good selection of bread, cereals, meat and fruit. A good central location, just a little away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping streets in Belau, but a comfortable walk away.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction work going on just next to the hotel (which they could not control), but it did mean there was a lot of drilling and banging which started at 8:30 and went on during the day. They only offered free coffee and a coffee machine in the room so if you wanted tea (we did), you either had to use the coffee machine to boil the water (but it tasted of coffee) or you could go to reception and ask for hot water. (Reception staff were very helpful and did provide this).

My husband and I stayed here for a night during an overnight trip to Porto. The hotel staff were lovely and attentive. Every request we made was met with a polite response, and we felt comfortable. The location is excellent, just a few minutes away from some of Porto's nicest sites. I would 100% recommend this hotel. The view from the suite on the 7th floor was glorious in the morning, and we had a lovely meal on the terrace. I generally like boutique hotels and couldn't have asked for a better place for our overnight stay.

The water faucet in the bathtub was a bit finicky, and the hose was leaking. Not a significant issue, but something for the staff to address for future guests :) We didn't have a lot of time in the hotel, but I'm sure if we had asked, it would have been fixed quickly.

The location of the hotel is on the main street but still away from all the fuss and noise. It's cozy, the rooms are quite big and modern and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The personel are very kind and have helped with recommendations. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but had dinner twice and a glass of delicious Port wine. The selection is not huge but the portions are generous and tasty. The hotel locks in the nighttime and you can access with your room card.

Renovation/building works on the building next door. Every day from 8 to around 18(19) but no noise in the weekend. It is of course not something the hotel has any influence or fault in.

Great location, near the market and main attractions. We were unfortunate with the weather, so couldn’t enjoy the courtyard or our balcony! But the hotel was still very modern and very clean. Staff at reception were so helpful and kind.

The hotel is situated next to a building work site and the works start pretty early and if you’re unfortunate enough to be staying near to the side of the works it’s very noisy!! But the staff were very accommodating and moved our room to a quieter side.

Great hotel a short walk from one of the main shopping areas of Porto. The room was clean and stylishly decorated. Confortable bed and high quality wifi in the room. Good hot water for the bath/shower. The location was a short walk from the touristy areas. There was also a nice breakfast buffet with a good selection available. Overall, an enjoyable stay and we'd return.

Showers in baths are always a compromise with inherent safety problems (which I won't detail). My preference would be for a simple shower.

The breakfast was excellent, eggs, fruit, cold meats and cheese, yoghurts all included. Better than the cafes we went to that were mostly pastries. The room was large, quiet and bed and pillows very comfortable. Combined bath &shower so not ideal if older or have mobility problems although it had great water pressure! Everything was very clean and well maintained. It was a short walk down to the main shopping mall area & staff helped us choose some dinner venues. A 10 minute walk to the main train station to take the metro anywhere you want. We suggest a tuk tuk ride to view the city as the old town streets too narrow for a bus. Convenient parking available across the road for a fee.

It would be nice to have a kettle & teacups in the room to make tea although the hotel was happy to provide a pot of boiling water when we asked. There is a coffee machine in the room though. Although the hotel is reasonably central it is a bit of an uphill hike back at the end of the day!! And currently there are building works alongside which didn’t bother us but if you were wanting to rest during the day might be an issue.

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. They marked up some places for us to explore on a map of a city which was really useful. They were also very patient when I had a couple of issues with my credit card and didn't make me feel embarrassed. The hotel was also very nice with comfy beds and in a really good location. Breakfast (extra) was also very good.

The only very minor think I can think of, is whilst the shower was very good, it always took a while to get the right temperature
