The staff were excellent, friendly, professional. The room was great, I use ear plugs so if there was noise, I didn't hear it. The bed was perfect, firm, just how I need it for my back. Pillows were great too. Had the 10€ breakfast. It's cold meat, cheese, bread, cornflakes, fruit, yoghurt, Coco pops, coffee machine. No other option that I was aware of. It was a good clean place. Not rough at all. 20 min walk to centre, or 5 min from nearby Marques metro station.

Better breakfast options and I might have eaten there. Needing to keep the key with reception. Sometimes I just want privacy and not talk to anyone, asking for the key each time.

The staff were very helpful and clear. The room was clean and tidy. The location is close to the metro and walkable to the centre down a straight downhill walk. There were several local places for breakfast and an evening meal.

Expectations were met. The door key was a little fiddly due to the lock. A small kettle with basic tea/coffee facilities would have allowed an early or late hot drink.

The room was a little on the basic side, but the location and the staff were excellent. This is a traditional portuguese pensão that has been modernised to some extent. Parking is underneath the hotel for €10 per day and there was a great little flea market in the gardens near the entrance to Marques square on Sunday morning. Air con in the bedroom.

Staff are lovely. It smells lovely all along, morning, evening. For the price with breakfast included. The rooms are clean, you pay for what you expect. Parking you will pay €10/day if there’s any space left. Would definitely come back again.

There’s nothing to dislike to be honest. Well, didn’t quite understand why I had to leave the key behind. If you leave the hotel you will need to leave the key at the desk. Never have done that before! But hey oh. Bear in mind there’s no lift, and my room was on the second floor.

A few years ago I used to live in Marques where this hotel is located, and that's why I chose this place this time. So I already knew that the area is very convenient to go anywhere in Porto. For this value of money, I wasn't expecting anything special for breakfast, but it turned out to be great because they had a variety of sweet options including "nata" and other Portuguese pastries. If you like sweet breakfast, this is great! The room was kept tidy and clean, and the building has a traditional B&B vibes which I enjoyed.

The shower was a bit disappointing as it was fairly small and the water pressure was not great. Also, the amenity in the bathroom was only soap and bath gel. You need to bring shampoo & conditioner by yourself. The hairdryer had very low power and it took ages to dry my hair.

The breakfast was a great starter to my two days there. Enjoyed having a casual breakfast.

My room was nicely done, and I appreciated having a mini-fridge. The street-facing room was a little noisy, both with vehicular traffic and pedestrians. I had the front room directly over the entrance for the underground car park, so the noise of the garage door opening was a little startling. All and all, the breakfast made up for any issues with noise for me. I would gladly stay here again. I would just request a quieter room.

The breakfast was stunning! The room was adorable. It reminded me of when I was a kid. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets seemed like the most extravagantly soft! The wood floors are beautiful and the bedroom was great. I loved that you could open the window for fresh air and the lovely front desk help assisted us in parking(they could be professional lot parking attendants!🥰) and had an impressive professionalism but had a sense of humor as well. You could not ask for more !! A definite 10

the location is great for ease to metro, I have stayed before and was very pleased to return the room I had this time was great for all my needs clean and comfortable the bathroom was very clean and great pressure in the shower, I shall be using again

When I entered the building, the aroma was breathtaking, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. We were given a map and guidance to tour the city. I like the cosiness of the dinner area. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Thank you for having me

I liked everything

Location is great, 3 min walking from Marques metro and 25 min downhill walking to the Sao Bento train station. Room’s clean and quiet at night. Internet super fast.

Not much, maybe better shampoo and body soap, but I have mine anyway.
