Tidy and with everyday cleaning service. The room was comfortable and quite nice. The owners are particularly welcoming and helpful, they really know how to take care of guests.
There wasn't shampoo nor shower gel, and the "balcony" is just a window all the way down. Nothing worrying if you simply don't expect a luxury hotel.

Nice and clean room in a Portuguese house, with those nice windows and shutters. The area is calm and not far from downtown (30 minutes walking from Sao Bento I think). The street has traffic all night, so if you are in one of the rooms facing the street it's a good idea to bring your earplugs.
A boiler in the room (or anywhere in the house) would come handy.

An exceptional service, availability of the guesthouse personal, cleaning and good location ( close to metro, close to the attractive shopping street, where you can eat, drink well and buy some souvenirs)
A little noise is coming into the room from the street but really only if you have a delicate sleep. Taking into consideration that the hotel is in the city, is a normal thing when the windows are open.

The owners 💙!!!!! Senhor Gabriel e Senhora Ivone were the most warm and kind people we met in our 38 days trip . Even though was a simple place, where well located, close to the metro and only 3 stops for the center historic. Very safe ! Clean towels every day !!!!!!!

The location is very nice since it's close to the Marques metro station. Taking the yellow metro line from there brings you downtown in about 10 minutes. The room was also cozy, although a bit small. But it's good. We can't cook in the kitchen, but can eat food ordered online at the dining table in the kitchen.
The lady managing the building doesn't speak English. This is more of an FYI, so just keep in mind that you'll have to work with basic words and Google translate. :)

This hotel is located near to bus station just around 20m. There is one share bathroom outside so it also useful for a group. The room is very clean and there are also towels.
It needs to pay 12€ for 3 nights which is tourist tax as the property said ( I don't know about this so it is kinda weird). The room has a heater but it is still very cold.

The room wasn't bad. The bed was quite comfy.
The room was on the first floor and even the blinders coulsn't avoid the street nouse. The coffee maker, which should be in my room, it wasn't there and every time i went to the bar. And i am addicted to coffee. The hosts don't know english and it's impossible to conunicate properly.

My room was clean and offered good value. The guesthouse was situated about a 10 minutes walk from the metro. There were some good cafes nearby to enjoy both breakfast and my evening meal.
My accomodation entailed using a shared bathroom, something I won't repeat. Also, there was no desk, so had to use my laptop balanced on my knee!

Our stay at the guesthouse was pleasant. To begin with, the owner was flexible with the check in time, as we had a late flight that was delayed even more. The check in was smooth and quick despite possible language barrier. It was quiet and calm in the guesthouse during our stay. The bed was made and the towels were changed everyday. Good location, a bit further from the tourist area (was a plus for us), nearby supermarket and multiple bakeries with good coffee and local pastries. Comfy bed, good wi fi connection.
The shower cabin badly needs renovation, the doors were not closing/sliding properly and the shower head was leaking. The bathroom in general is very small, but it was good to have a private one. No hairdryer! it is a certainly necessary thing. Also an electronic kettle would be nice to have. City view rooms might be loud at night because of the traffic.

Staff was friendly and casual, easy access to local amenities and decent walk time to the centre
We asked for a second key as we had different plans and need to access at different times and we’re refused, even though we had a twin room, we had to make do but if it was a longer stay it would be an inconvenience
