The check-in was fast. There is a reception 24 hours. When we called to tell them our show was not working, they came right away. We were able to use the indoor parking for the whole stay which is great because it is very hard to find parking and there are paying meters everywhere. Housekeeping came in during the day to clean the room. Breakfast was good.

The only con is the 20 minute walk to the Douro river. Down is not too bad but on a hot day, it is very had to make it up hill. We opted for a 13 euro cab drive back.

The room was great with a big balcony. The staff is kind and helpful. There are bus and metro stops nearby but you can also walk to the center in about 20 minutes and admire the tiled buildings on your way. :) Several shops and cafes nearby. It was a wonderful stay, I totally recommend.

Dust bunnies here and there in the corners, but nothing disturbing. Our room was facing the street so it was a little noisy, but after a day walking around the city we didn’t have any issues falling asleep.

Clean rooms, layout and space, shower pressure, 24h reception , staff very nice. I've stayed in other hotels around porto with more stars and more "modern" but that didn't have as much space as this one or as clean. You get a nice entrance area, with a door that separates the room and the bathroom too, really good if you're sharing the room with someone else.

If you stay in the room facing the main road it can be a bit noisy with the cars but with earplugs it was fine

I liked that when I was unhappy with the city and the way I was treated in Porto, the hotel readily agreed to not charge m for the remaining two days.

The city and the people thereof. I was also kind of surprised how so many places were closed around the hotel on Friday and Saturday. No stores near there to even buy a candy bar.

Very clean rooms! Came with a simple yet decent breakfast to start the day. Good neighbourhood that is close to transit, bakeries, restaurants and laundry. Staff was informed that we would be late check in and they did wait up for us to make sure we got in for the night. We appreciated the great service.

A very clean hotel. I liked that there was an elevator and there also was a complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel is walking distance from the historic center. Its location is quiet and near restaurants, public transit and beautiful parks.

The staff and unbelievable friendly and hospitable. The lady at check in gave me an in depth guide to Porto. Would highly recommend. 5 minute to the Metro station or 30 mins walk into the city center

The rooms are abit dated, and could do with a refurbishment. But it is still confortable. Breakfast was okay but not much selection

Workers in the hotel were nice. Parking is free and indoor which is a big advantage, plus location is very good, on the walkable distance from the center. Breakfast is basic but good.

Rooms could use some corrective maintenance. For example room doors don't shut unless you lift one side up.

Breakfast was basic but I did expect this. The room was comfortable, however the air con didn't work , I didn't raise this as an issue as i only really got ready and slept in the room. Check in was great and i left at 4 am, the staff who booked me the taxi were really helpful and the taxi was waiting for me at 3.50am.

A toaster at breakfast would have been good.

Excellent location. Metro is few minutes away. Staff was very friendly, with great tips and quite helpful. It is really good value for the money.

Breakfast was very basic. Street is quite busy, so traffic is quite noisy. Pillow was pretty small.
