This hotel is incredibly good!!! In every aspect Since I arrived, they checked with me via messages to verify when I was arriving, and since I had to arrive before noon, they accommodated everything so they could give me my room a little bit earlier. Going, what it felt to me, above and beyond. Once in the room, it is exactly as they show in the pictures. Comfortable bed, clean and spacious enough bathroom, the shower was <3. It is a bedroom perfect for a single person. I am not sure if two would feel cramped. It came as well with enough closet space, a water heater for tea and coffee. Hooks in the bathroom (a thing most hotel ignore to provide), same as a little shelf in the shower for your own things. Location-wise, it is located 30 min walking from the old town. Take that into consideration when travelling. It is also located 5 min. walking from a metro station, and it is a direct line to the old town. Also, the metro in Porto is super easy to understand with online maps.

Nothing regarding the hotel itself, maybe take into consideration that since it is not in the old town, and you want to eat close to the hotel, there are not a huge number of options. The options available are quite good, though.

The room was big for European hotels. It was comfortable with a mini fridge, kettle,& cups as well as coffee and teabags. The linen was comfortable and the towels were great. Location was also very nice, close to metro.

The reception desk closes at 5:00 pm. After that we have to use a card or PIN number to enter the hotel. One night, around 10:00 pm, the lock was defective and we couldn’t access the hotel. We stayed outside for about 10 minutes trying to enter. I finally contacted the management and was told to push the door strongly. Eventually the door unlocked and we could access the hotel. This was very stressful.

Service from Diogo was incredible. During our stay we experienced the power outage and had no way of finding or buying food. Diogo helped us out and organized a meal for us during all the chaos in the city. He also helped us make arrangements to arrive at the airport and even offered that he would drive us himself if the network isn't restored. absolute legend of a host and gentlemen.

nothing that the host could control. the power was off in the entire Portugal and Spain. We still had a great holiday.

The Convo was a very cool and trendy hotel with it's decor. Across the street from a grocery store which was great! Breakfast baskets were given in the morning where you had to go down to pick it up but you could choose to eat downstairs in the lobby if you wish.

The location was a bit far from the sites I wanted to see but still easily walkable or could take a Bolt (Portugal version of Uber). The rooms were not very sound proof. The rooms weren't very large but I wasn't expecting or needed it to be. The lobby closes at 3pm every day (I think) and the bar closed very early so do be mindful of that. I had to do a self check in option as I arrived by train around 7 or 8pm. I was a bit concerned about the instructions received from them but once I got there it was pretty self explanatory and check in went quite smoothly.

The staff were super friendly, place was very relaxing and peaceful/quiet. Even though it is away from the main key of town, it’s the best European city I’ve had so far. $4 or 5 euros gets you anywhere. There is a good commercial gym called Fox Gym one block away which was super handy for me.

It felt like there was a change in management or something, the bar was basically closed 19 hours of the day and I did book this place months ago seeing it had a buffet breakfast but that is now no longer and was just a breakfast box which was average.

The property was clean, modern and it had everything you needed. The staff are excellent! They went above and beyond to help you have a pleasant stay. The bed was very comfy, we had blackout curtains, room was spacious and the shower was lovely and hot!

We didn’t have a safe in our toom for our passports so bare that in mind. Also the hotel is a 30 minute uphill walk from the ribeira district which is tough but there is a metro stop a 6 minute walk away which takes you right into the centre, which is a big help after a long day of exploring, or if you ask the staff they can help tell you what bus to get! We stayed in a roadside room which was very noisy of a morning with traffic so once we were awake we headed down to the breakfast area to relax there most mornings.

I loved the story of each rooms and how they were associated with a profession related to Porto. The staff was more than accommodating and packed us a breakfast to go. The location was not too far from the main city.

Nice fashionable room, but quite small. Perfect for a few nights but not longer. The breakfast was really nice, large selection of fresh food! Friendly staff. Location: not far from metro station (7 min walk) so quite easily accessible, we walked into the historic center which was like 25 mins walk. The rooftop bar seemed really nice but the weather was really bad when we were there so we can't really judge this. We had one drink inside one night but it is really small. We did have a nice chat with other guests there so that's a bonus. I bet the terrace is really nice when it's sunny!

The property was modern, clean, stylish and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hospitality was first class, from before our arrival to our departure, the staff were in contact to make sure we had all the information we need to make our stay as relaxing and as enjoyable as possible.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property - I can’t fault our stay.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were so attentive and friendly.Breakfast was freshly cooked and had a good variety for all tastes.The rooftop bar was lovely although the weather was not great at this time of year so we're not fully able to appreciate the views and ambience. The hotel was easy to reach on the Metro which was very cheap although the hotel was also within 15/20 minutes walk from the start of the city centre which we walked to everyday.Overall a very enjoyable trip with lots to see.We would recommend the walking tour and the cellars to sample the port !

We really enjoyed this hotel and would fully recommend it.
