Martha and her staff went above and beyond to accommodate my friend and I with an unforgettable experience at Hotel Jaguar Oporto. I would highly recommend this hotel for the highest excellence in customer service. The staff were welcoming throughout the check-in process with a welcome drink and assisting with information about Porto and our excursions. Martha went above and beyond to accommodate us with a meal as we checked in when the restaurant was closed. However, the chef was on site and made the most delicious mouth watering Francesinha. 😋 The rooms were five star all the way with details in bed linens, furniture, curtains and fixtures, which set the ambiance for a most restful stay. Yes, it goes without saying the rooms were clean and disinfecting stickers throughout the bathroom were an added touch, to the high standards of hygiene, which I have not seen on my travels to more than 20 countries. The free shuttle to the airport at the end of our stay provided peace of mind and was one of the main reasons we booked Hotel Jaguar Oporto. We loved everything.

Hi I liked the fact the hotel picked me up and dropped me off at the airport , free of charge . Also they did a 1hr driver driven free tour of Porto so lovely and unexpected. Staff at the reception couldn't of been more helpful with information , places to see etc . A special mention must go to the young ladies in the breakfast restaurant , they were so friendly , helpful, and vibrant . I would highly recommend Hotel Jaguar on every level and if coming back to Porto will stay again .

There wasn't anything, to be honest it is just an exceptional hotel new a little put of Porto but metro literally 300 metres away .

The room itself was clean and beds were comfortable, bathroom had everything you need. We had nobody next to us so it was perfect and quiet. I wish the stuff was as nice as when I visited a year ago.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time but I will not repeat. There are plenty of hotels around with more competitive price. We booked a room with patio which was more expensive and to our surprise not cleaned at all. There were spider webs in each corner, dust/some brown powder on sunbed, chairs, table and floor. The concierge on the weekend when we arrived wasn't answering the phone at the reception and didn't seem to be happy to be there, we felt like unwanted guests. We have got only one bottle of water in the room and one glass...The booking was made about a week before so there was enough time to clean the patio..The girl at the reception on our check out was really nice, which was nice

Breakfast was quite nice, the Restaurant is bright and clean, the personal is very nice and asks if you need or wish something. Our room was way beyond what is clean and comfy. We got an upgrade, off-season, and the concierge and I think the Hotel manager offered us many additional services. Including a tour of the city in one of their EVs. Honestly, this place is a tip! Never experienced such quality, such friendliness from a Hotel. On foot, it's a 20min walk from the bridge but you walk cross the main shopping street, so the location is quite well too.

I will miss Hotel Jaguar OPorto forever! Probably my favourite hotel from all my journeys abroad. Even being sort of a budget hotel, they did not have any amenities short of a luxury hotel! In fact maybe more! Starting from picking me up and dropping me at the airport with their FREE Car service, a free welcome drink to chocolates and fruits and a fabulous breakfast; not just a mini bar and tea/coffee cupboard but also shoe kits, bathrobes and sleeping suits! It not only boasts service around the clock, but meticulously strange details such as metrocards and mementos for guests and the biggest surprise : a fully functional small library with hardbound books (which I forgot to take photos of in glee). Plus I will be extremely grateful to my new friend Anni from the hotel who helped me with a little cloth tear issue I had! This is the best one can have for 100 euro a night all inclusive!

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. From the minute we walked in the door, Daniel at Reception was a gem. Incredibly welcoming and so proud and excited to talk about Hotel Jaguar. He is warm, friendly, engaging, and engaged. Daniel's directs to the subway (just 2 short blocks away), and instructions to get to the waterfront were thorough and easy to understand. We had a lovely dinner at the waterfront, and when we returned to the hotel, Daniel and Liana, the bartender, were waiting for us with a complimentary cocktail. They both shared their knowledge of Porto and Port. We had a fun conversation with them both. Daniel directed us to the parking lot just across the street from the hotel. An EV charging option is coming soon we were told. The hotel is new and is spotless. It has an eclectic design that feels fresh and hip with a little funky retro thrown in. There is plenty of seating in the lobby and at the bar. Our room had a wonderful balcony with chaise lounges and a sofa seating area. The bathroom had an enormous tub separate from the rest of the bathroom. The shower in the bathroom was large and comfortable. It is obvious that the owners put so much thought into the amenities. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with drinks and snacks. We didn't use it, and I'm not sure if it's complimentary but so nice to have, especially if you arrive too late to go out. There was also a plate of fresh fruit and a bowl of delicious individually wrapped chocolates, luxurious bathrobes and slippers, lovely bath products, and a hair dryer. The bed was divine and we slept so well. We are late sleepers and didn't have breakfast. There was coffee and tea in the room. The rate was very, very reasonable. We plan to go back to Porto and will definitely stay at Hotel Jaguar next time. Highly recommend.

Pretty much everything! Ideal choice for that money. We’ve been spoiled with complimentary glass of Porto, fruits in the room, very friendly staff - 4star hotel with feeling of 5 stars. On top of that we had free shuttle service to the Airport - that was top of our stay!

Everything, it is newly opened as well and everything is new and super clean. Internet speed +100Mps so is perfect for your business. The super nice and professional staff asked me for any comments or critics, I admire their eagerness for perfection but I honestly couldn't find any dislikes. Totally safe with the 24/7 attendant staff and well-centered location, super cheap considering the quality they are providing. I stayed before in between 2-5 stars hotels and this one surely will exceed your expectations. Also got a free upgrade with a jacuzzi just because! Highly recommended!

Impeccably clean rooms with all the possible amenities you could need including a safety deposit box, complimentary fruit and water, tea, coffee and a mini-bar. The shower was well sized and there was a hairdryer and extra mirror with ring light. It was the attention to detail that really set this sumptuous room off. The shuttle service from the airport in a Tesla was prompt and gave a touch of luxurious comfort that embodied my entire stay at Hotel Jaguar. Every single staff member was welcoming and very helpful with recommendations for local food and drink spots, activities and how to get around the city. I couldn't fault anything about my stay and would highly recommend it as it is fairly close to Marquês Metro station and there is free parking if you have a car. Aside from that, the staff really go above and beyond to help, for example, when I needed to leave a little earlier than the advertised shuttle times. Muito obrigada, Hotel Jaguar! The four stars are well deserved!

Staff at reception & the concierge were absolutely excellent. Loved our room. Bed super comfy. Spotless. Loved the quirky but tasteful hotel internal decor.

Although not on top of the Ribeira area & the shuttle bus was busy with airport runs when we needed it, the walk to the Ribeira area was downhill & interesting and the metro was only 4 short stops if we were too tired to walk back up & our stop was only 5 minutes walk to our hotel. Also, the restaurant staff at breakfast need to learn how to smile & go beyond like their colleagues in reception.
