Absolutely perfect for a one night stay arriving on a late night flight. Staff were on hand to ensure check in was smooth, lovely twin bedded room which was very quiet and comfortable. My friends had breakfast and seemed very happy with it, being gluten free I had brought my own snack with me.

The glass doors and walls on the shower and toilet and between them were very strange I have to say and as they faced out into room was a little disconcerting, however, through careful management my friend and I coped, deciding it was a modern fad that wouldn't catch on!

Modern, clean, nicely decorated, very close to the airport and also to the metro station to go to town centre. The airport is a 10 mins walk, safe to walk on pavement even with luggage. The centre of town is half an hour away by public transport (metro). The room is comfortable but please bear in mind that there is an open space bathroom so if you’re staying with a friend (as I did) this might feel uncomfortable. Both shower and toilet are only separated by a glass door so the privacy is very limited.

The daily supply of water, coffee and tea in the room was lacking. After the daily clean of the room, we were not supplied with new coffee, tea, water or even empty cups. This would have been appreciated. As I said, the bathroom doesn’t allow for a lot of privacy, this was not clear when I booked.

The hotel staff was fantastic. We arrived in the blackout and they handled it like pros, cheerful and efficient, walking people up the dark staircase to their rooms by flashlight. We were able to walk there from the airport .

Because there was no electricity anywhere in the country, that also meant no water so couldn't flush toilet, wash hands, or shower. Our room faced west so was stifling hot. Having electricity would have fixed all these things. They did their best. We were disappointed that we had paid for breakfast and we did not received breakfast even though the power was on the next morning. They would not refund what we had prepaid for breakfast.

It was incredibly convenient and allowed us to start exploring right away without worrying about our luggage. Another highlight was the breathtaking airport view from our room. The breakfast was excellent, offering a delicious variety of fresh, high-quality options to start the day right. The service throughout our stay was top-notch, with attentive staff always ready to assist. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Stay Hotel Porto exceeded all expectations, and we will undoubtedly be returning on our next visit.

5 sstar stay Warm friendly and helpful welcome. Great assistance with luggage storage, information and maps. The whole hotel is light, bright, clean and fresh. Set out in a user friendly style. Our room was spacious, super hot water in the shower, sparkling clean everywhere, ultra comfortable bed and good quality linens, fabulous five star hotel towels. It was good to be able to open the door to step outside onto the tiny balcony for a bit of fresh air. Great to have a kettle to make a hot drink. The hairdryer was a bonus too. Plenty of storage areas and a desk, lamps, good lighting and a tv all for a very small price. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and good prices too. A 15/20 minute walk to the airport, but we decided to take a taxi, €15 euros, great choice at 0600 instead of walking the cobbled pavements in the cold and dark.

Exceptionally kind , caring and professional staff! Catarina welcomed us with a beautiful smile despite we arrived at the hotel very late. Within a minute we were on our way up to our lovely, clean spacious room with very practical interior. There was complementary bottled water and possibly to make hot beverages in the room. The bed was super comfortable. The BEST PILLOW EVER!! , blackout curtains and absolute silence aided our great sleep. I literally didn’t sleep so well in years! The breakfast was very nice with Portuguese specialties and Daniel helped us find everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Adriana , the manager looked after all our needs and gave us great advice. We also want to thank the rest of the Stay Hotel Team Hugo, Heidi, Joana, Rita, Paulo, Ana, Patricia and Bia. Thank you All for looking after us so well!!

I liked everything about this hotel.

I like this hotel very much. I appreciated the friendly staff, inviting lobby and breakfast area, and the room. The pictures posted are quite accurate, but somehow don't capture how comfortable everything is. Bed is tempurpedic, - I slept very well. The bathroom is elegant with a rain shower and hand shower, which can both be used at the same time. There were lots of choices for lighting, from a little to a lot. And of course, everything is immaculate. Lastly, the floors are bare wood - so much better than carpets, and these too, were clean as a whistle.

There were plenty of outlets but most were low to the floor and hard for me to get at. There was a set that was higher but it was behind the coffee station. I would suggest moving that table a bit so devices and be charged in one place.

Location is perfect for someone catching an early flight, only a 10 min walk to the airport. Breakfast starts at 4 am, and is quite diversified with bread, pastries, fruit, eggs and bacon, cereal, etc. The room is spacious and comfortable and it was clean enough.

The heating didn't go past 23°C, which I felt it wasn't enough. The bathroom space is completely open, which means there is no door whatsoever, only a cubicle for the toilet and one for the shower. And these cubicles share a see-through wall. This is completely fine, until you step out of the shower naked and feel slightly vulnerable as you're standing so close to the bedroom door. Also if you're staying with a friend, this wouldn't be an ideal arrangement. Someone knocked and tried to open my bedroom door at 10 pm. Might or might not have been a mistake. Being solo, I didn't care to check as to not get any unpleasant surprises.

Large room with generous shower. Staff on reception desk were helpful even at 1am! Comfortable and huge bed. Kettle in room was appreciated but only 1 tea bag and no coffee. Easy walk from airport.

Small amount of dirt/ wear in the corner of the shower. Breakfast was OK but not as good as other rival hotels near the airport eg hot food not replenished regularly and baked goods disappointing - soggy croissants! No shuttle bus which would be a pain if you had large suitcases.

The hotel is very near the airport - it's about 800-1000m distance, so about a 10minut walk. Very convenient. Distance to Porto city center is quite big but light rail connection is perfect and easy. Takes about 25 minutes to get to the main transfer station Trinidade. You can buy all kind of tickets at the airport tourist info office. Rail stop is in hotels proximity. Breakfast is served starting 4am which is perfect in case of early plane departure. Hotel offers also an early check in (charged additionally) which is perfect for early arrivals. Very good relation price/quality

Shower cab has poor ventilation and tightness - water leaks on the floor and there is some unpleasant smell if You leave the cab door closed. There is no place to hang towels.
