It was a beautiful location - right on the beach! My room had a balcony overlooking the beach and the pool. It was gorgeous! The restaurant's food was delicious, every time! Morning breakfast had a good selection of hot foods, pastries and fruit. The pool was beautiful! The staff was superb! They were all very helpful and attentive!

The only negative is that it's a bit of a distance from town, so it's not super convenient if you need to go into town for something, but being RIGHT on the beach totally makes up for that! And there was a delightful & wonderful restaurant very nearby (Tasquinha Silva), so we had another dining option besides the hotel restaurant (which was also very good).

Close to the water, the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and spoke great English.

A few things weren’t up to par. I was excited after a five days of El Camino that there was a bathtub. However I wasn’t told there was a water main break in the am and while fixed, muddy water flowed into my bath in the afternoon. They also explained that they hadn’t connected the jets in the bath jacuzzi after I asked. The next morning the water in the tub was fine. Just wished I’d been warned. The food was good, although I could tell they preferred I do the buffet for dinner.

Location was perfect - quiet and sea views with a lovely beach. Easy to reach by car - loads of free parking. The coastal boardwalk was easily accessible, and the pool looked inviting and well maintained. Breakfast was okay - a little more choice and fruit would be helpful. The staff team was pleasant, friendly and informative.

Possibly needs a little modernisation but great value for money.

Our Camino adventure needed properties as close to the coast as possible so as to avoid going off track away from our route. The Santo Andre is right on the beach, whilst a little remote for nearby restaurants, the buffet style evening meal was really good value, with proper ‘homemade cooking’ that certainly rejuvenated our batteries after a couple of days of quick snacks.

The Hotel might be viewed as being a little dated with the amount of dark woods, however, the property is well maintained and spotlessly clean👍

We had a nice night here on the Camino route. It is right off the beach. We arrived early and they managed to get us into our room 2 hours early. We had lunch in the dining room and it was good. It was a Sunday so a set menu was offered. The room was spacious but a bit warm as they do not have AC. The staff was very helpful with all of our questions.

Location at beach was wonderful. Breakfast was immense and high quality. Pool was nice but we didn't need to use it.

Parking was limited. Difficult to move luggage from car to room and no bellhop or carts available. Weird elevator scheme where you had to start on second floor to go down to first floor away from the lobby.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Large room, comfortable bed, large swimming pool, easy parking, bar, good choice at breakfast.

Air conditioning wasn’t working and the shower curtain over the bath was too short so that water went all over the bathroom floor.

The staff was nice and helpful when it came to check-in , check out and our luggage transfer service. The lobby was nice. The breakfast was good. The location, right on the boardwalk for the Camino Portuguese (littoral route) made it a great choice. Beach was right there. The pool looked nice, but it was too early in the season to swim.

The rooms did not have bedside places to plug in our phones to recharge. This was tough because my husband's cpap machine cord barely reached the adjacent wall outlet, and my phone had to recharge in the bathroom. The rooms need updating so they match the lobby.

The staff were very friendly and very attentive. The Ocean view from our room was great and I would recommend this room category. Simple breakfast but very hearty and always very fresh.

The air conditioning wasn't working but that was OK because the hotel is facing the ocean and you could open the window and the room is cooler.

Great location and super kind concierge

The AC was not working. I was moved to a room with a breeze and given a fan. The room had a jacuzzi tub which also didn’t work but I was happy to soak my feet anyway. I felt like the hotel could use many touch ups and update furnishings.
