Outstanding 5-star hotel in a historic building on a hill directly on the estuary. The hotel offers all the amenities that guests expect in this category. In the spa area there is a heated indoor pool with various whirlpools, fitness room, sauna and steam bath. The breakfast buffet is rich, varied and good. Even with boiled shrimps and champagne! The hotel has two restaurants, one of which is a “gourmet temple”. The rooms are scrupulously clean and luxuriously furnished. The staff are extremely friendly and competent. We were picked up from the parking lot with an umbrella on arrival and directed to reception. We didn't have to worry about our luggage on arrival or departure.

To get rid of at least one criticism - the selection of port wines is very limited. No Tawny dez anos - scandal! :-)

Repetitive art on the walls. They could have curated a better selection of artists instead of using the same over and over… it’s also not giving the opportunity to others to have their works seen by a wider public. It’s a loose /loose situation…

Beautiful historical hotel with a contemporary design touch. From the common spaces aroma to the signage — everything is so thoughtful and of a great taste. Best spa in Porto and neighborhood so far. A destination for those who want to slowdown or an ideal spot for a special occasion.

Such a beautiful historic hotel, original features well maintained. Very friendly staff, all our request were met. Exceptional choice and quality of the amenities, linen, ceramics and so many other details. We booked spa treatments which were performed professionally. We wished the weather had been a bit better to dip into the outdoor pool. Next time:-)

Just the water temperature of the indoor pool, should be a few degrees higher so we could enjoy the water jet options available.

The hotel is brand new as I found out yesterday. The size of the room is very nice. Very beautiful and artistic design. Very kind stuff that meet your needs over and beyond the expectations. I was one night last week and turned around my plans to come back again and stay 2 more nights before flying back home. As a previous 5 star hotelier I can tell a lot about the quality.

Stunning heritage property which has been elegantly adapted into a luxurious hotel. Throughly enjoyed our three night stay. Brilliantly original cocktails available and very enjoyable dinner in the Mosteiro restaurant. The most impressive breakfast we have ever encountered. Solicitous and professional staff.

Spectacular hotel, outstanding in every category. A special note to the gardening work all around. Breakfast is really a brunch. We travelled with two small children and would describe the hotel as family-friendly. (Note that the indoor pool is for children age 3+ only).

Only critique is that staff is very friendly in person, however, the upfront email communication didn't show that.

The property has an interesting History...The grounds of the property are excellent...There is something for everyone here from the pool to the spa, it has it all...My room had everything I needed for an awesome stay...The staff are friendly and outgoing and go the extra distance to make your stay one to remember...Bonus was room upgrade!

The blinking light on the Delta coffee machine...This is a no-no...

A beautiful building with wonderful interior design. Super comfortable bed and very thoughtful personal touches throughout the stay. Really exceptional staff - happy to help with anything and everything. I can't say enough good things about them. Overall the best hotel experience I've ever had. Please, don't change!

Gorgeous setting - and beautifully renovated with lots of history. Service is very good and the food also - had the best seabass dish. The spa is stunning and the infinity pool overlooks the river and the sea.

Maybe the frames in the bar which were showing commercials of the other Lince hotels. If you are there for a few days it gets a bit much.
