The location of this hotel is the real winner, yielding stunning views from the breakfast room over the river and into the town - such a delight whilst you're having breakfast. It is a 10-minute walk into town, or the Santa Clara metro stop, which is on the red line, and was so easy to use to travel into downtown Porto. The spa is beautiful and tranquil, with 3 treatment rooms and a seating area to enjoy the views after a massage (i had 2 x relaxing massages which were amazing!). The pool is large, so great for anyone who likes to swim lengths..it was quiet too, with lots of loungers to relax on by the full length windows. The hotel has a really open design, its very spacious with lots of different seating areas, giving it a a really chilled out, low key vibe. Overall, I had a wonderful 5 night stay and I can highly recommend this hotel, I'll definitely stay again on my next trip so that I can discover more of the coastline.

Some very minor improvements could be made, for example the carpet next to the patio doors could do with a clean, and the plastic by the patio doors was loose in some places but for a single room it was huge, with 2 queen sized beds and a patio with chairs to sit out in so these are really minor points.. I stayed in Room 2010, along a long corridor from reception, which has floor length windows, but some of the panels mist up so they could do with a daily check and clean by the maintenance team.

every was (near) perfect, the restaurant one of the best I've ever visited, with a relaxing atmosphere, nice friendly staff, and foremost: delicious food. Facilities superb, except a disfunction in the gym.

the only negative point was that the control panel of the elliptical bike (also called 'cross trainer') in the gym didn't work. I had notified Reception on Sunday when I arrived, but on Friday, when I left, it still had not been fixed.

We had an amazing time. The bed is very big and comfy, the shower is great and the room very spacious. Breakfast is very good, even lactose free options. We had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant, in a huge group, and we had a great time. Last, but not least, the support I got for my wedding was fantastic. They provided me a huge conference from for me, my family and friends to get ready, walked with the staff I hired until the place and brought me everything I needed very fast, kindly and efficiently! Thank you very much!!

The hotel should be pet friendly, since nowadays it is very common that people travel with dogs. I find absolutely unnecessary to use cap in the pool, and the hotel makes it mandatory (and charges 10 Euro for it, in case you don´t own one).

Everything , had an amazing view and the hotel on it own was just beautiful and very well kept. Most definitely what I was expecting and more , looked exactly like the pictures presented which was great . The food from the restaurant was exceptional , my partner had the duck and truth be told it was the best duck he has ever eaten and I agree as I also had a taste . The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful with any query you may have and there is always some one present at the reception desk so you are not left waiting to be assisted.

Nothing to dislike at all , I’d say perhaps the hour the swimming pool closes is a bit of down side just because I love a late night swim but it’s okay as I still got to enjoy the pool during the day . Other than that there was absolutely nothing to dislike whatsoever.

Walking the Camino, we got there early, however, they happily let us in. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, and our balcony overlooked the river Ave. The spa and restaurant were perfect. Fantastic hotel, that I look forward to revising.

You need a 10€ shower cap for the pool.

Loved this hotel; would happily have stayed more than one night. Clean, spacious room with a good-sized modern bathroom, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a long time. The hotel was a very quiet and relaxing place to be. The rooftop bar has great views over Vila do Conde, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a very good selection of food for breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently located for anyone doing the camino.

The pool area was excellent. Balconies were wonderful and easy to open with wonderful views of the river. There was air conditioning. Temperature was great.

The breakfast buffet was not worth the cost in my opinion, definitely ease of access was great but I felt the food was bland.

I was in this hotel a few times ago in the past and always like it, nice architecture, good location, fantastic services like swimming pool, spa, restaurant and a good room with a breakfast included, I will back next time visit Vila do Conde.

The requirement for swim caps🤔. A little ridiculous. We book hotels all around Spain and this is the only place requiring that. The pool is nice, but the hottub is cold. Same situation as last year. Should we stay again next year? Not sure.

Lovely hotel to rest after long walk from Porto. V friendly and helpful staff and swimming pool and hot tub just the thing for tired feet. Great breakfast. Would have loved to stay longer
