Staff is amazing, made us felt at home. It is very clean and facilities are great for countryside. Has a pool, gym, playground, football court and green areas. We went to a venue around 10 min away and it was great to be at this place. It is very close to Sintra so it is an alternative to have the countryside experience while also close to touristic site. Really unusual quirky place with great artworks and other interesting decor. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice and looking at the other facilities available (football/tennis/gym/trampoline, mini golf), there is everything there for families, which is a good thing because the location is not really close to anything, if you don't have a car then it would be quite difficult to find and/or get about. Saying that it is nice and quiet and relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle in the city

Bedrooms (the two we saw), were quite small with a double bed and just enough room to walk around it. Very comfortable but quite cramped

Loved Sintra Rural Home! Was here for a few nights for a wedding in a villa a 10 min drive away. The room was lovely and very clean, the 3 dogs and lots of farm animals were beautiful and so friendly, the staff were wonderful. The breakfasts were soo good. Would definitely stay again!

It’s hard to get an Uber or taxi because of the location. If you’re not driving, make sure you pre book taxis

I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, gorgeous views, and the super clean house. The food was great, and owner Nini and her husband are amazing. However, the best part for me was the cat, Ernesto, who is playful, clean, and smart. I also appreciated the dogs and other animals, as they created a beautiful energy around the place. Overall, it was wonderful. Place for me to come back.

Location was perfect: outside the city, very quiet, beautiful main house. Private, gated parking. Staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. Comfortable and large bed. Was a decent spot to explore the surrounding areas.

Pool was not open for my stay in early July. Seems to cater more to families than solo travelers.

The venue was beautiful and peaceful. The view was lovely, over farm land and you can see for miles. Breakfast was optional but had a good variety. It was homely with space to relax snd activities inside and outdoors. Staff were friendly and room very clean.

Such a special place. We added an extra night to our trip and needed a last minute room and wished we had planned on staying here longer! We hope to be back one day to enjoy it more :)

It’s a trek to get to so definitely worth it to have a car! But we drove so no problem there, just something to consider when booking.

We were pleasantly surprised about the location when we arrived. Beautiful home and accommodation. Very friendly hostess and hostess and very helpful. Very creative designed beautiful artistic home. Great hospitality

Very relaxing stay with valley views. Awesome breakfast that fueled us for the day of work ahead. Very approachable owners who shared the history of their family home.

Great 3 days at this super rural property. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming as were the other guests who were staying there. Fantastic hill top locationfor sunset views, yes you do need a car but it is worth it. The whole place is immaculate, a kind of living art house with striking designs in every corner. On the practical side the beds were sooo comfortable and good pressure in the shower. The breakfast room is bright and the food tasted all home made- specially the quiches! Thank you to all involved, we really enjoyed our stay. xx Chris and Christina

Not a very wide choice of restaurants in the village but the bakery is walkable and very tasty!
