Room is excellent. Comfy bed, clean bathroom and spacious. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Guest can ask for iron board and kettle at the front. We can get free drink if we don't require daily cleaning. Luggage can be stored if the room isn't available and check out is 12pm. Close to Frankfurt Hbf..

Although the location is super close to the Main station, but this is Frankfurt. There are many, many homeless and junkie surrounded the station and hotel area. These people didn't harm us but we feel intimidated when walking pass them. So, we avoided to come back at night time. On the check-out date, cleaning staff knocked the door but we didn't answer, so he opened our room without any permission. Luckily that we already finished shower and dressed up...

The hotel itself was clean and refurbished and close to the main station. The breakfast on floor 7 had a good variety, with coffee on demands 24/7.

The street noise from the night club around the corner that vibrated through my bones until 5am, and how unsafe I felt walking through the streets to the hotel which is populated by homeless people and crack users.

The location is central which is great, but the hotel is around the red light district near Frankfurt main. Not dangerous just something to be mindful of.

The room was small but clean, lovely shower and comfortable mattress. Staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for you, really appreciated when traveling solo and when not speaking the local language. The breakfast was great and the staff working the breakfast were very cheery. Sitting outside was a nice touch. Location perfect for me, 10min walk to design offices where I was working, 5 minutes from the station, 2 stops from the airport and close by to restaurants and shopping!

Says double bed, but it's actually two singles pushed together with two single duvets. I travelled alone, the area isn't the nicest to walk around after dark so I didn't go for a run as I didn't feel safe going out alone early morning/late night (I understand this isn't anything to do with the hotel itself but it may be interesting for people travelling solo).

The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable with great room design. This was my third time staying at the Niu Charly and also didn't disappoint this time. The bed is very comfortable with good pillows to choose from. Very quiet hotel considering its central location. The breakfast was lovely again. Very friendly and helpful staff!

A minor point, the air-conditioning was preset to reset to 24 degrees Celsius after a certain time and the room was quite warm to sleep considering that the blankets are quite thick. The only issue that can't be controlled by the hotel is the rough neighborhood it's located in. Moving from the nearby parking garage to the hotel in the evening, especially if traveling alone as a woman, feels slightly uncomfortable.

This hotel was a great base for my stay in Frankfurt. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent in terms of transport — just steps from the main train station and around a 20-minute walk to the old town, making it easy to explore both local sights and further afield. Inside, the hotel felt safe and quiet, offering a welcome escape from the city outside

While the hotel itself was very good, the immediate area around it has some serious social issues. I saw people openly taking drugs in the street nearby, which could be unsettling, especially for first-time visitors. It’s worth being aware of this before booking, as it’s not the kind of environment everyone will feel comfortable walking through — particularly at night.

From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was swift and welcoming—within minutes, I had my room key in hand, and the front desk staff made sure I had all the information I needed to make the most of my stay. The room itself was a true sanctuary: immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly quiet, with a plush bed and high-quality linens that made it almost impossible to leave in the morning; every detail, from the ambient lighting to the blackout curtains, contributed to a restful and rejuvenating experience. The hotel’s location was another highlight—perfectly situated within walking distance of popular attractions, local cafes, and public transport, yet tucked just far enough away to offer a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. When it came time to check out, the process was just as smooth and courteous as my arrival, with the staff going out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed, stored my luggage for a few hours while I explored a bit more, and even arranged a ride to the airport—leaving me with a genuinely warm impression and a strong desire to return for another stay soon.

The location is at walking distance from the train station, so very convenient. Unfortunately, the atmosphere outside the hotel doesn’t feel always safe, but this of course this aspect doesn’t depend on the hotel.

The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful, i was with my mother and we had a couple of requests which were well accomodated by the staff

The water pressure was weak and we had an issue with the fuse going off after we switched on one of the lamps. But that was the least of our worries- The area around was dreadful, full of people sick as a result of Substance abuse. We didnt much like going outside as a result and we were there anyway for a flight in which case its pretty convenient in terms of distance from the central train Station.

Staff were very friendly at all times, and spoke excellent English. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was again immaculately clean and spacious. Nice view out of the window / balcony of downtown Frankfurt.

While the location was excellent - central and very near the main train station - I arrived quite late at night and had to walk past some very dodgy looking people in the area right next to the hotel. Walked very fast as I felt quite uncomfortable on my own. Just be aware maybe.
