Great location near Souq Waqif and the metro. Good for a 3 star, imagine it was a 4 star originally. Room was big alhough weirdly had a microwave and full set of kitchen cupboards but no plates or cutlery. Maybe you can borrow from reception? If you arrive early (which your flight probably does) you can pay 100 QAR for early check in, not an extra nights accommodation which he tried to charge me first. Breakfast was good and staff in there as well as the cleaner were lovely.

Make sure you know exactly what you've booked, the guy on reception who wasn't that friendly considering his job tried to get me to pay for things I'd already prepaid for. Hotel spammed me with multiple emails the week before offering expensive upgrades. Think there must be smoking rooms, it definitely smelled like it. Ring for your own taxi to the airport, half the price of what guy on reception quoted if he phoned up for me.

- Location near Souq Wakif and Metro Station, shops and restaurants. - There is bath tub in the room, though small. - There is gym and swimming pool, though the swimming pool is small. - They provided early check-in and late check-out. - Quick check-in and check-out procedure. - They were responding to messages in Booking.com before arrival.

- There is no parking in the hotel, we have to use street parking, it is hard to find the space around the hotel. Recommended to park behind the Metro Station where there is a large parking space. - During check in, in the reception, the other receptionist (a young lady) was arguing with other staff, looked unprofessional, they should have settled internal issue not in front of customer. - The table and chair were not comfortable to work with my computer. - I called the reception to get a toothbrush, I didn't come for about half an hour that I had to call again to remind them.

Check-in was super easy and quick. The place absolutely matches the pictures online – no surprises, just what you expect! It's great for a short stay, offering everything you need without any fuss. The location is fantastic, right in the center of the main city, making it easy to get around. Plus, there are a couple of good low-to-mid range restaurants right behind the hotel, which was incredibly convenient for meals. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an efficient and well-located stay.

Dinding parking was consistently a challenge. Even though spaces are available around the hotel, they were always packed, requiring extra time to find a spot. Also, the mini-mart in the lobby is very convenient for a quick snack, but be prepared for prices that are double what you'd typically pay

The hotel was in good location, metro station was across the road. Local shops for food, clothing, souveneirs every corner. Souq waqif is few minutes walking distance as you walk through the streets of shops and browse. Staff very helpful and friendly, smiling willing to help. When we checked out, they check the rooms straight away and they found we left something in the rooms and informed us immediately, we were leaving for the airport which we really appreciate.

Everything was ok, for a 10 rating if you have cutlery, plates, glasses etc in the kitchen area, as there are none.

Very comfortable location, not very far from airport, right on a souk.

No toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kits, bathroom sleepers or robe were provided, just pretty basic.

Great location very near the heritage Souk which we thoroughly enjoyed - small walking distance. Also the rail station just across the road - going all over Doha. Very roomy apartment with a small balcony. Ubers cheap to use from this hotel to the museums. Breakfast was very adequate. Staff did their best to look after us.

Older style but certainly comfortable and very reasonably priced.

The location of the hotel is very good, especially as I visited in August when it was extremely hot and humid. The entrance to the metro station is located one minute walk from the hotel, and then you can get anywhere you need from there. It is also close to Souq Waqif, the National Museum, MIA, and the Corniche. The view from my window was also nice. The room was spacious, and they cleaned it every day. I also used the gym several times, and it was good.

Great place to spend the night on a longer layover in Doha. Kingsgate Hotel is very conveniently located in the central area of Doha, close to a metro station, and they also provided us with a (payed) transfer service from/to the airport. So, it was a great option to take a rest and to explore a bit the city center. The room was very large and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, and the staff was really nice with us the whole time.

The room lacked power plugs: the few they had were mostly being used by the lamps, minifridge... There was also some dust in the room.

Great location, very convenient to reach via metro or uber / taxi, close to everything like Corniche area,, restaurants, shops, souk etc. Right next to the metro station. Great view of the mosque and corniche area from the hotel room. Very clean and tidy premises. Nice large, spacious room, very comfy & large bed and sofas. Very good facilities - pool, spa etc. Most importantly - very friendly and helpful staff, they upgraded my room for free. Very affordable and great value for money. Simply the best hotel in Doha. Highly recommended !!

I am reviewing 3 rooms located on the 3rd, 6th and 10th floor. Kingsgate Hotel was situated in a great location close to Souq Waqif. The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked for rooms with a view and the staff did accomodate. The price was very affordable. We also used the sauna and the pool. When I am out all day, all I want is to go back to a nice, clean room and rest. This hotel met my expectations. I love Doha and cannot wait to make it back. Thank you Kingsgate Hotel.
