The staff is very nice. The room was modest, but clean and suitable for that price. The location was great - not far away from the city centre, well communicated, with some walkways to stroll in the evenings. Don't forget to visit El cafè de les Paraules across the street :)

Well, you can't say the rooms are soundproof ;) You just have to get used to the sound of guests on the corridors, but it's not a big deal. Besides, all was fine for that price (even my room without a window, which made the room unaffected by the street noise).

The hotel is located in a nice, cosy neighbourhood. It's not the closest to the centre and main attractions, but it is not far from metro station, which can take you anywhere. Also there are buses which can easily take you to Tibidabo and Sants station (the latter is also within walking distance). All the amenities were available, with little to none of single-use plastic. Breakfast was nice and sufficiently varied, with sweet, savoury, cold, and hot options. There was a special hanger for the door saying we don't request room cleaning, which I liked and I hope more hotels had those. In general a decent option for a fair price.

The room we got was a bit outdated, especially the bathroom. Double bed we had could be wider. Otherwise nothing.

A comfortable room with contemporary design. Easy check in and helpful receptionist. Good value for money.

It would have been nice to have some options to make hot drinks in the room. It's not very close to public transport.

The hotel is the perfect place for a few nights in Barcelona. It is very clean, with super comfortable beds and large rooms and bathrooms. Very close to the metro and major bus line, but also writhing walking distance from Sagrada Familia or Park Montjuic for those who don’t mind taking a few steps. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, attentive with our dog and helped us find parking as well. I can highly recommend staying here.

Location was ok, there were lots of good restaurants nearby and not so much tourists. Nearest metro is bit far, 600 meters, but it was walkable. Bed was nice, though bit narrow for 2. Breakfast was good.

Its odd that blanket does not have any cover, maybe its custom in this part of world. Next time I would take the bigger room, we had the smallest and that was really small and not so inviting to stay and spend time in it.

The room was comfy and clean; it had a little fridge; tiny gadgets such as a bottle of water, a comb, a bag for worn clothes, toiletries etc. were provided. The room was air conditioned and the bathroom was clean with quite quite big shower. The staff was super friendly and helpful; 24h reception & late checkout (noon).

The walls seemed to be made of paper - although nobody was being extra loud, you could hear other people all the time (walking by your door, watching TV, talking on the phone, having a shower…). I‘d still recommend staying there, because everything else was fantastic (bring some earplugs for the night though).

Great location. Nice personal. We traveled with our dog and they left a bed and plate in the room. Nice touch.

The bathroom was renovated and looked great, but it was poorly designed. Every time you took a shower the whole bathroom filled with water because the shower enclosure did not protect it. It was very uncomfortable.

The presence of two sinks added a convenient touch, making it easy for two occupants to use the facilities simultaneously. The daily cleaning service ensured that the room and bathroom remained in impeccable condition throughout my stay. I must commend the entire staff at Casual Colours Barcelona for their exceptional service. From the friendly receptionists who provided helpful information about the city to the kitchen staff who prepared delicious meals, and the diligent cleaning ladies who maintained the hygiene of the premises – everyone contributed to making my stay truly enjoyable. The hotel's location was also a significant advantage. While not relatively far from the city center, it provided a delightful opportunity to explore the beauty of Barcelona on foot. The journey to the center allowed me to appreciate the charm of the city, adding to the overall positive experience.

While the breakfast provided was undoubtedly of European standard, I was personally expecting to indulge in the flavors of Spanish cuisine, given the hotel's location in the heart of Barcelona. It would have been a delightful and authentic touch to include some local specialties in the breakfast menu.

The place was very clean, the staff would clean it daily. The air conditioning was working well and the bed was very comfortable.

We didn't like the fact that everyday, at around 9am, there was some sort of construction happening that we weren't informed about and it was very noisy, making it impossible to sleep in. Also, I'm pretty sure that someone from the cleaning staff was smoking inside our room because even if the windows were closed during the entire day, we would arrive to a cleaned bedroom that absolutely reeked of tobacco.

Despite spending a little time in this hotel, my impressions were delightful. Very friendly staff, reception is open 24 hours, making it possible to arrive quite late. Excellent English spoken by the staff at check-in, unlike Spain in general... The room is small but quite suitable for short stays. Lovely bathroom, all clean. The room was quiet although the windows faced the street. Cosy bed and warm duvet. Rich breakfast, plenty to choose from.

I don't have a big remark, but I would add a bottle of free water in the fridge. Not all light bulbs worked at the desk, but these are very minor issues for me.
