We had a brilliant stay at the Canopy by Hilton in Madrid. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. We were generously upgraded to a suite free of charge, which made the experience even more special. The room was stunning with an amazing view, and the air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver during the 42-degree heatwave! The rooftop pool and bar were a highlight — the perfect place to cool off while enjoying beautiful views across the city. The atmosphere up there was fantastic, and it really added something special to our stay. The reception team were all super friendly and welcoming — a big shout out to them. Also, special thanks to the gentleman who helped us with our bags. I didn’t catch his name, but he was incredibly helpful, cheerful, and couldn’t do enough for us — a real asset to the front-of-house team. The only minor downside was that we couldn’t access the terrace bar due to a private brunch event that day, which was a bit of a shame. But overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return again. Highly recommended!

Nothing. Just be warned that Bernabeu stadium and metro station are being reconstructed currenty (2025) and only one set of entrances is open - the one farthest from the hotel.

a little noisy late night early morning if you were in rooms at front of hotel because of disco across the square.

The staff was very nice and I had lunch at the restaurant in the lobby and enjoyed it. The value for the hotel was great.

If you are coming in for business and will be busy, the location will probably be a good fit. If you’re a tourist looking to be close to a lot, it might not be the best choice. I enjoy walking and running and was only there for one night so it was great. But might not be the best location if you have a lot you want to do in a few days. There is a ton of construction in front of the hotel which wasn’t noisy in my room but not great surrounding ambience.

Honestly, The place is exactly what it's advertising to be. We stayed here because we were going to a match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, its was a great short 5 mins walk away. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly.

Room was small, the entrance is into the bathroom (open concept), which is fine for one person or a couple but for families might be tight.

The receptionist was very helpful fixing a mistake I had made with wrong dates on my (non-refundable) booking. The manager accepted the change with no extra charge. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Metro station and the Bernabeu Stadion. It is a bit tricky to find the right path through the high rise buildings. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful from a buffet. We did not use the roof-top pool with great views over the surroundings, but we could have enjoyed it. It is certainly a gem.

The entrance to the hotel was tricky to navigate to from the Metro through the underground pathways and high-rise buildings of the modern development. Signs could help here.

Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend and stay again. Room, facilities and staff were all great. Good selection available at breakfast, room very comfortable (with very efficient blackout curtains!) and the rooftop pool/bar is a fantastic perk - the perfect way to end a long day at work!

There didn't seem to be enough lifts at the hotel which often led to long waits. Room could do with hanging space for longer items, all of my work dresses were too long for the short rail, leaving them creased. Pool and pool bar closes early at 8pm which given the heat could've done with being later.

The hotel is superb, really nice staff and facilities. The gym is well equipped, the pool is decent size and has good structure, with an amazing view of the city. The rooms are great, super comfy and good dimensions, they have all you need there, and great shower. The staff is super courteous, they allowed me to early check-in without issues and they gave me some transportation tips. Everything I needed to ask or solve was done in minutes. Also, the restaurant is great if you're ok with the price (definitely higher than Madrid prices). Location is nice depending on what you want, you have some good restaurants nearby and santiago bernabeu is just in the corner.

Location is good for some things, but also quite far away from Madrid center and night life. Not a big deal, but you might consider that if you're in a short trip.

Absolutely recommend this hotel as everything was perfect during our stay! The hotel personel was very kind and much helpful, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. We also arrived unnannounced three hours prior to our check-in as we simply wanted to drop our luggage before taking a walk in the city, but the staff informed us that we could already proceed to the registration and access our room with no extra charge as the room was already prepared for us. What an amazing service and great help! In addition to that, the room was highly comfortable and clean, all necessary amenities were there, the pool/terrace were remarkable, and the hotel was well located as close to different metro stations. We will 100% stay there again for our next holidays in Madrid!
