The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a nice coffee machine. The location is excellent, particularly for that price. The staff were really useful, in particular one member of staff who, on a night shift, lent me a few dollars to run the washing machine which I desperately needed when my debit card wasn't working.

No free breakfast included in room price and the fact that you have to pay a disproportionate $150 deposit upon arrival on top of the room (for only 2 nights!). Perhaps this is common in DC/the US, but it was a surprise to me (they should flag it when you book) and ate into my spending for the trip!

Very good experience. The hotel is located 3 minutes walk form Foggy Bottom Metro Station from where you get to both airports and to every point of interest on DC. To observant Jews like me, its two minutes from George Washington University Chabad House. Food, including kosher and vegetarian, and be obtained from Trader's Joe and Whole Foods Market, just notice that DC became quiet expansive. I booked the biggest room they have and was really huge, which is nice when you spend nine mights as I did. It was clean, with big TV screen (also Netflix etc.), coffee making machine and a fridge. The downsides where not enough light, storage space not comfortable and no desk so I had to work at my bed side. The staff was great. I asked in advance if there was a kettle in the room. There wasn't but they sent me one for the duration of the stay without me need to ask. They also lend me an adaptor as mine didn't fit, again for the whole stay and free. Given all that ant that being my seventh visit to DC, this is going to be my hotel of choice. Just please add some lighting and maybe a desk, and you'll be close to perfection.

The hotel itself is not too big and very well located. The area is quiet. It takes 3 minutes to get to the subway, 5 minutes to Whole Foods, 15min to the Waterfront and 25 minutes to the Lincoln Memorial. The reception desk was always staffed, check-in was easy, and I was well informed about everything I needed to know. The self-service area is well equipped. The paint and the area around the windows could use some love. The peeling paint there doesn't match the rest of the room, which is absolutely spotless (thanks, housekeeping!). I had some issues with the air conditioning, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it was my fault—all in all, nothing that would have affected my stay. That's why I didn't mention it to the staff.

We recently stayed at the Arc Hotel in Washington, DC. The hotel’s location was perfect, putting us right in the heart of DC and close to all the main attractions. Our room was spacious. We’d like to give a special shoutout to Michelle. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Michelle’s warm and friendly attitude made such a difference, and her  recommendations were spot on.  We thank the great staff for our stay.

The windows will need cleaning from outside and the carpet and sofas. The cleaning from the staff is really good.

The real heart of this hotel is the service of the staff. They are lovely, kind-hearted people who genuinely want your stay to be as nice as possible. They even let us borrow an umbrella on a rainy day! The location is wonderfully central with quick, walkable access to the metro to take you all around DC. The view over the city in our room was lovely. AC was efficient and kept our room nice and cool. Our room was clean and room-service was prompt in removing trash/replacing towels, etc.

There are extra fees for early check-in/out that you will receive automated money-grab emails for. Poor water pressure in the shower, but there was never a lack of hot water. The mechanism for the blinds makes a lot of noise and travels from the floors below you - this woke us up early several times as the people beneath us opened their blinds every morning.

Spacious room, comfy bed, very clean. There was a good coffeemaker and water in the room and the staff offered an early check-in which I appreciated a lot. There was also a list with dinner recommendations in the room. There is a 7Eleven and a Wholefoods Market nearby (5min on foot) and Lincoln Memorial is a mere 20min on foot away, also Georgetown was within walking distance. The metro station is also only 3 minutes away, you can easily catch the airport metro from there. All in all a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

What's a 5-minute walk to the foggy bottom Metro in a historical home area which was very nice. Whole foods was 5 minutes away 7-Eleven was 2 minutes away. Staff was very friendly and nice and the cleaning was super.

I didn't like that when I booked it said they offer breakfast and it was included in the parade only to find out there was no breakfast. Also and I want to check out they try to charge me 70 plus dollars more but I showed them what I had paid to booking and that was all I was going to pay so they did credit me back the difference. The rooms were very large and spacious, bed was really comfortable but there was little to no soundproofing in the hotel between rooms.

The room was great! It was renovated, spacious and clean. The bathroom was spacious and fully updated. The bed was comfortable and the sheets/bedding were nice. The location was perfect for morning runs and for work days downtown! I also loved the view of the Kennedy Center and the Watergate from my window! The reception desk staff were helpful and available! The cleaning staff was also really friendly and helpful!

The only things that need improvement in the bathroom are the shower head and the water pressure. The showerhead was too small, and the water pressure was too low/weak and could be increased. Regarding the room, the windows would need updating at some point.

The location is good. The hotel is located close to Foggy Bottom station. It's about 5 minutes away on foot. Foggy Bottom area is a quiet and historque area in Washington with colorful small houses, the Waterhouse maison and Kennedy Center. You can reach the National Mall, George Town and many museums 10-20 minutes on foot or by public portation. The staff is very friendly and our kids like them so much.

No bathroom door lock available, but it does not bother us much though. Just our kids tried to open the door all the time and we have no rest in the bathroom.

The room was very clean and spacious. Also, it was very close to the Foggy Bottom metro station, which also connects to the Dulles International Airport. Also, there was a Whole Foods nearby, which was convenient.

The rooms need to be more soundproof as you can hear everything from the other rooms. Certain staff at the reception did not seem to be pleasant at all (they would not even smile at you as you entered the hotel).
