Everything was great! This is a motel-style hotel)) The rooms are located around the perimeter with the ability to park in front of your door, and inside the complex there is a spacious closed area with a large swimming pool and two large jacuzzis, as well as several separate fireplaces (gas burners and chairs around). In a word, several companies can easily spend time together. The general reception also has a meeting area, a salon. Coffee, tea, water are free for guests in the reception area. It is about 30 minutes to the Jackson Hole ski area, a large bus goes 3 times in the morning and also back, it is convenient, the stop is right next to the hotel. There is a rental, but there is no choice at all.

The old time look of the rooms and just the view as you walk out the room is amazing, there’s a restaurant there on the property, I had breakfast there before i checked out in the morning. Also there was a saloon and liquor store on property so that was pretty cool and i definitely enjoyed the kettles in the room with the cups those where so cute I was going to buy one before I left and i totally forgot, I loved that yall had full bottles of shampoo and conditioner/ body wash /hand soap that’s the first time I have ever seen that and you could purchase them, they smelled so good. The lobby has coffee and HOT COCO available 24/7 if I’m not mistaken and I must say i definitely took advantage of that! I also stayed at the 49er hotel and i definitely regret checking out of the VirGinian, The Virginian is so cozy and roomy. The room and restroom was way bigger than the room I had at the 49er hotel, I don’t like to be in a crowded place and 49er wasn’t for me, my visit was during the winter and I plan on going back when there is warmer weather!

The only thing i didn’t like about the room was the barn door for the restroom it don’t completely shut there about a 1 1/2 inch gap where anyone in the room can see you sitting on the toilet or changing in the bathroom but other than that the hotel met my expectations!

Nice to have access to free coffee and hot chocolate all day. Pool and firepit were a nice touch with free smores at the front desk. Clean rooms and bed, daily room service and comfortable beds. Tesla SC are a 5 min drive.

No access to microwave anywhere. I don’t understand how 2 star motels have microwaves but a 3 star hotel/motel doesn’t. When I am traveling 2 months for vacation, access to a microwave is quite important to reheat leftovers or a quick meal. Booking had a heavy discount on price, or else I would not have book this place at cost.

This was the best hotel! It was in a great location, our room was clean and the bed and pillows .. aww...were so comfortable. Comparable to our 6k mattress at home. It was like staying with relatives...like being home. Great people, immaculate facilities, games, and it was quite at night.

I think the cut off time for the court area, pool/hot tubs, fire pits should be later than 10pm. As long as patrons are being quite & respectful it should be open later. We loved the fire pits and had to stop conversations with other guests cuz the area closed at 10pm. Would have been nice to get to stay longer. Maybe do a 10-12 adults only time??

The location is amazing! It’s near everything you want to do in and around Jackson! I also can’t say enough about the courtyard of the place. It’s a communal space with fire pits and s’mores! There’s an attached burger joint, (great burgers and tacos) for those days when you’ve exhausted yourself on a hike and don’t feel like going out. The rooms are spacious and clean! They seem a little old fashioned because of the paneling, but the kitchen area seemed new. Finally, the staff are TOP NOTCH! Super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I’m bad at names, but I can tell you it applied to everyone who works there. It might be hard to tell, but I totally recommend The Virginian.

I can’t say enough good things about the Virginian!!! We finished a 4 day backpack trip a day early and the staff was so helpful in allowing us to check in a day early. This place has nailed all the little things that make a visit so special- amazing staff (truly), daily coffee in the lobby, smores & fire pits, cozy rooms, a liquor store & restaurant attached. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything more! It was a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere that encouraged & helped facilitate community. We had the best time meeting other people from around the country over smores and comparing trips. This place is magical, and we’d come back to Jackson just to stay here!!

I have absolutely ZERO complaints of things I didn’t love. This place is perfect!

The hotel is very comfy & convenience. The room is really new and the decoration is very nice. In the evening there is a free S’more for guest to enjoy at the hotel’s courtyard. In addition, there are all day free drink, such as Chocolate, Tea, Coffee at the lobby too. The atmosphere and the vibe of the hotel are really good. Also the staff who we met during checked in was really nice and very positive. The staff at the breakfast restaurant was also very positive and energetic. She really made our day positive after we had had breakfast there. The location is also very convenient. I came from Grand Teton, it’s very easy to get to the hotel and it’s very close to Jackson Hole square.

great location, vibe, nice big courtyard with pool. we came with our family - 4 adults and 2 kids - and was a great place for us to spend the day. the kids had fun at the pool, the firepits were fun and they gave out smores kits. we sang karaoke at the saloon bar - so fun and convenient!

there was one front desk guy that was not very hospitable. he sort of had a bad attitude/energy, verged on rude, didn't smile or make eye contact, felt like we were bothering him just asking a question. also i was woken up by loud banging at 8am ish - housekeeping - which was also annoying considering we had to checkout at 11am so why wouldnt they just wait until then?? price was a touch high.

Although we hadn't the time to enjoy it due to our late arrival, the central yard with the fire pits seemed really attractive. The morning swim at the pool was something we really loved. Though it was not included in our room price, we chose to have breakfast at the lodge and it was delightful. Parking was ample and easy. The location was close to downtown (3-5 min driving).

It was really expensive for the amenities provided. The room was adequate but nothing special. Soundproofing was poor as we could hear our neighbors next door who were just talking and watching tv.

Loved the pool, hottub, firepits, lawn games area. Loved the free smores. Free coffee was nice, wish dairy free creamer option. The beds were comfy. Room clean and nicely decorated. Very responsive front desk and maintainence.

Housekeeping never gave us enough towels for 3 and stingy on TP. We nearly ran out twice. Pillows are awful, too thick and hard. Wish ice and water machines more numerous, closer to room. Wish assigned parking spots in front of room. Too often we had to park further away and I travel w my disabled adult daughter. Wish for larger menu at Billy's or Virginian to be open for dinner. Lack of low cost good food in the area crushed my vacation budget. Not having a microwave or toaster/convection oven in room or available anywhere on the property was frustrating. This is common most places I travel these days in lodgings at this price point.
