The rooms were updated, cute, and clean. Beds were comfortable. The best part was the entertaining area inside or in the center of the hotel. It had a very nice pool with loungers and umbrellas plus 2 large hot tubs. As well as, table and chairs for eating lunch/dinner. There were about 6 fire pits with many adirondack chairs around them. It was such a cool relaxing location with beautiful landscaping and overhead string lights. Off this area is the saloon which was also cool with a fireplace and leather seating. It was so nice to end the evening next to the fire pit with a good drink and meeting great people. This hotel is not a $1400 a night hotel but it is so family friendly, clean, updated, and a cool place to hang out. You do need to drive to downtown or you take a good walk to downtown. We never found it was hard to drive because we would just park in a parking garage off Broadway. This hotel is actually closer to a lot of the tour locations, grocery stores and Target and near EVERYTHING. If you stay here you will not be disappointed. The pictures are very accurate. Rooms are cute.
We stayed in the second floor of the back building but I would think that the rooms inside the hotel along the pool and fire-pits may be louder if there are a lot of people out there. Everything closes at 10:00 but if you wanted to go to bed earlier, I would think it might be louder. Not extremely loud but louder than an outside room.

This is the cutest little place to stay and has several activities and a nice open Courtyard with beautiful views of the mountains all around and the rooms were cute. They were updated in a retro modern style. It's very comfortable and just an enjoyable setting an atmosphere. There was live music and events in their Courtyard and uh, a little bar and restaurant as well as a little liquor store and a burger place. All within reach. I loved the theme "keep it western"
I would have loved to had a little bit bigger kitchen, but we did make do. And it was very nice nonetheless with a nice size mini refrigerator and microwave and sink in a kitchenette.

Everything was great! This is a motel-style hotel)) The rooms are located around the perimeter with the ability to park in front of your door, and inside the complex there is a spacious closed area with a large swimming pool and two large jacuzzis, as well as several separate fireplaces (gas burners and chairs around). In a word, several companies can easily spend time together. The general reception also has a meeting area, a salon. Coffee, tea, water are free for guests in the reception area. It is about 30 minutes to the Jackson Hole ski area, a large bus goes 3 times in the morning and also back, it is convenient, the stop is right next to the hotel. There is a rental, but there is no choice at all.

We had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the large landscaped courtyard with pool, tables, and fire pits were beautiful. We ate in the connected restaurants for a quick dinner the first night and two big breakfasts over the next few days. It is slightly out of town, but we liked this because it was quieter and easier to get out of town without using main street.
At over $ 1400 for 3 nights, it seemed pretty expensive to us. But it is highest season in a resort town and a great property, so I probably shouldn’t have been surprised.

We absolutely loved staying at The Virginian Lodge and having it as our base for our trip. It is in a great location near the town center and the national parks. The one bedroom suite was perfect for our family of four. We appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room along with it being a good size. We didn't feel cramped and had plenty of space for our luggages. The staff were all super attentive and went above and beyond. The pool, nightly s'mores, Billy's Burgers, Virginian restaurant were great touches for our trip.
Nothing.

The rooms were well appointed - nice linens, comfortable beds, the soaps, etc seemed to be a nice quality. They also offered good tea and coffee in the rooms. We really liked the location of the hotel - away from downtown Jackson Hole. The congestion in town was something we didn't want to deal with after a long day, so we enjoyed a burger at Billy's & breakfast the following morning at the Virginian Restaurant. Both are right there.
When we arrived (right at 4 - the earliest you can check in without an added fee), the staff behind the reception counter seemed a bit behind or overwhelmed. The other down side for us were the loud kids running by our rooms at night. Room doors open to the outside, so maybe people are a little less aware of the noise they're making. NOTE - if you want a quiet room, you might want to request a room that does not face the courtyard. They had live music playing the night we were there.

The old time look of the rooms and just the view as you walk out the room is amazing, there’s a restaurant there on the property, I had breakfast there before i checked out in the morning. Also there was a saloon and liquor store on property so that was pretty cool and i definitely enjoyed the kettles in the room with the cups those where so cute I was going to buy one before I left and i totally forgot, I loved that yall had full bottles of shampoo and conditioner/ body wash /hand soap that’s the first time I have ever seen that and you could purchase them, they smelled so good. The lobby has coffee and HOT COCO available 24/7 if I’m not mistaken and I must say i definitely took advantage of that! I also stayed at the 49er hotel and i definitely regret checking out of the VirGinian, The Virginian is so cozy and roomy. The room and restroom was way bigger than the room I had at the 49er hotel, I don’t like to be in a crowded place and 49er wasn’t for me, my visit was during the winter and I plan on going back when there is warmer weather!
The only thing i didn’t like about the room was the barn door for the restroom it don’t completely shut there about a 1 1/2 inch gap where anyone in the room can see you sitting on the toilet or changing in the bathroom but other than that the hotel met my expectations!

This was the best hotel! It was in a great location, our room was clean and the bed and pillows .. aww...were so comfortable. Comparable to our 6k mattress at home. It was like staying with relatives...like being home. Great people, immaculate facilities, games, and it was quite at night.
I think the cut off time for the court area, pool/hot tubs, fire pits should be later than 10pm. As long as patrons are being quite & respectful it should be open later. We loved the fire pits and had to stop conversations with other guests cuz the area closed at 10pm. Would have been nice to get to stay longer. Maybe do a 10-12 adults only time??

We can’t wait to visit again and share with our friends. The staff was great, the lodge was perfect in every way- the lowkey lodge vibe was absolutely perfect. Maintenance replaced a light before we even asked, the room attendant/cleaner was excellent. The pool and view was great. Convenient location to everything.

Nice to have access to free coffee and hot chocolate all day. Pool and firepit were a nice touch with free smores at the front desk. Clean rooms and bed, daily room service and comfortable beds. Tesla SC are a 5 min drive.
No access to microwave anywhere. I don’t understand how 2 star motels have microwaves but a 3 star hotel/motel doesn’t. When I am traveling 2 months for vacation, access to a microwave is quite important to reheat leftovers or a quick meal. Booking had a heavy discount on price, or else I would not have book this place at cost.
