The Mansion Resort is a gorgeous property with a beautiful airy reception area with very helpful staff. The gardens and 5 pools are really beautiful. All the staff (reception, housekeeping, restaurant, snack shop and gardeners) are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and convenient. I was in a beautiful spacious room.

It's a large place and there are a lot of activities (retreats, parties, lunches) going on. It can be a lot. The restaurant menu and quality were mediocre (I was surprised when I ordered grilled scallops and 3 tiny scallops the size of small coins were brought).

Didn’t realise it was basically a yoga retreat for most people and we got asked to keep the noise down when we were in pool with the kids by the yoga people

The sunbeds ,there were not enough, and they do not go flat so to turn over or lay down flat, You are out a bit from the main town ,they do have a shuttle bus but only goes twice a day and they don't have a later pick up ,

The hotel charged too much for room service order. They billed 40,000 idr plus 20% tax for 2 bananas we ordered for the infant. Whereas there are available for 4,000 idr outside the premises Pls ask to hotel to be reasonable on this. Otherwise Excellent

It was a surreal experience to enter into a little history with a stay at The Mansion. We were treated to the Royal Suites and were surrounded by artwork and elaborate furnishings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We hope it pulls through the post pandemic sluggish economy.

Traffic is bad and the shuttle provided by resort only goes into town 3 times a day. They should offer more options. Traffic is super bad around Xmas time and can take 45min to go short distance into Ubud. That’s not the resorts fault. Just crazy traffic. Resort is a wellness retreat. Great spa services. The restaurant food is Ok. Not great. Husband got food poisoning from local fish meal. Staff very nice and helpful. Great value for price and gorgeous resort.

This is a sprawling property surrounded by nature. There are numerous pools, but only two are near ‘bars’. I was dubious about staying here after the mixed reviews, but did anyway because the others I was with were staying here. There is a lot of nature, including trees and bugs. It is a lot of upkeep to stop leaves falling into pools etc, but it is clean. It’s not pristine, like a hotel where you have four walls, my bathroom was open air, and had a garden in it. It is Bali. The food at the restaurant was really nice, but I didn’t eat Western food. If your breakfast is included, it’s a choice of several set menus. My fave was the vegetarian fried rice, and I’m not veg. The staff is lovely. Very friendly. There are plenty of places to sit and contemplate or work, as the case may be. Turn right from the property and around to the left, there is a veg place that sells lovely food and a vegan offer place that sell great coffee. Turn right and left at the corner and walk down to Warung Jouse for Pecel, which is delicious, but a bit spicy. Turn left and there is a laundry, but is quite close. There is a shuttle into town and a reasonable gym. Cups, kettle, daily water, mini fridge, room service and housekeeping are included. I was able to get a late check out til 2 for free. There are showers to use near the main pool, if you stay on after check out.

My hot water kept turning off. I think the rain had something to do with it. Of course, I often didn’t realise until I was already in the shower. Washing my hair cold water wasn’t fun. The wifi outside my room was terrible, so if you’re there for work, this is something to consider. It’s a long, hot walk into town.

Loved the gardens and the quietness. Where I stayed they had filled the pond with koi carp and I would disturb a heron each night who was intent on catching one. That was a bonus. I had some great massages and the staff were so lovely.

I've been here a couple times. Staff are awesome.

It's more active now with yoga classes. I liked the extra privacy on site before.
